Great atmosphere, super fast service and good food for the most part. Lobster roll was very disappointing – full of raw onion though great in size and fun on pretzel roll.

On this fine day as summer is waning down, my cousins and I decided to stroll down to the beach with pina coladas, the virgin type that we enjoyed one lunch at The Saloon. Please recommend someplace new because our visit today put a dent in our wallets for three mini child cups. My «prerogative» was that they were so not worth it. Only two blocks from the beach I was finished with mine before we even arrived. This is the smallest pail I have ever used at the beach.

They have a nice outdoor area which was reserved at the time so we grabbed a few seats at the bar by the windows which was nice.
Ambiance was slightly loud and rambunctious with the baseball game on in the background.
Swift and courteous bartender.
Come here for a proper pint of Guinness!

As o am writing this post i have completed 45 minutes waiting for my food. Again i my still waiting. I would love to leave now but my wife wants to eat asap. My recommendation is you avoid this place. Also the place is not crowded and use common sense how long does it take to make a salad. Dont waite. OMG its 8:51 now and the food just got here. So do you want to experience this type of bull?

I don’t live far and I am in Long Beach a few times a year to visit friends.
This is our usual place to spot for a burger. It’s a bar with outdoor seating which is awesome in the summer and nice weather. I’ve always eaten in the back where the tables are so when it’s busy in the bar section, the noise and crowds don’t get in the way. They have tons of TV’s for Sports which is great. Staff has always been nice and friendly. I definitely recommend the burgers.

Fun spot to stop at while in Long Beach. Service at the bar is very efficient and prices seem pretty reasonable.
