My first time breakfast at this small neighborhood bakery. Clearly it is a favorite of many in the neighborhood although it was not crowded nor was there a wait for an outside table. They offer an array of egg breakfast choices among others. I had a delicious breakfast burrito for under $ 6 and skipped lunch it was so filling.(Important to me was real half and half for my coffee. I hate having creamer of any kind for my only option.) Everyone is friendly, good food with a variety of choices. I’ll be back.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now as my trusty burrito spot; however after discovering La Taqueria’s bean and cheese was better, my frequency has since tapered down. I went this morning for some Mexican breakfast of chilaquiles and got terribly sick. I ordered the chilaquiles once before and it was fine but today it tasted super greasy, the tortillas were partly burnt and it was almost inedible from being way too spicy. I powered through thinking I was being a spice wuss, but now I’ve been sick all day. My partner ordered the same thing and though it was gross to and barely ate his. I’m not sure what happened but something was cross contaminated. And just to note, the am cook versus the pm cook makes things slightly differently. The am cool is usually better and takes the time to warm your burrito so the cheese melts, but the pm cook will serve you a burrito with cold cheese-the worst! It’s happened on multiple occasions. Also they say they open at 7:00 am but the kitchen doesn’t open until 8:00. I’m super disappointed in this place-once a staple has now gone way down hill.

Ok. the Lite burrito is to die for! Carne Asada… so good! Add avo and you have a great meal! Get the carrots/onions/jalepeno’s as well. Can’t decide which is better, the red vs. green salsa. Had the burrito two days in a row! De-lish!!! CASHONLY

Three stars was for atmosphere. Situated in the borough of Long Beach, this establishment caters to its local populous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Besides being run down, it was plenty clean. I will return. Hopefully at a time when there is no garbage truck in front of it.

After almost a year of constant visits, it’s sad to say this place is losing its touch. It’s food and customer service is becoming inconsistent, seems like it’s becoming a gamble to eat here. You never know what you are going to get, or be able to order since they seem to always run or of what you want RIGHT before you get there. Hoping it’s just a lull.

This review is based on the fact that the cashier and the cook are extremely rude & misrable assholes. I came in and ordered my food in spanish: «no tomato and meat well done, no rush i’ll wait». Super nice and cordial to these malcriados. Apparently even talking to my own Raza in our language is not good enough or maybe requesting my food WHICH I AMPAYINGFOR the way i want it is too much work for these lazy fucks. So I proceed to the cooler and in the glare of the window she tells the cook my requests in a bitchy tone what i asked for and they look at each other and laugh and while they stare me down«behind my back». All the while talking shit about a previous customer which they were complaing they ordered asada and they gave them chicken. So she starts talking crap how oh they didn’t want to eat chicken and laugh about it. I got tired of their mockery and walked back in and asked for my $ back. Never again will I eat here.

Loved eating here. People so nice. Had tacos with pastor(pork). Hot, fresh and delicious. Also a couple of cookies. Think it was like $ 3.50 for my lunch. Very small inside. Tables outside but no umbrellas so did carry out. Plan to go back tonight so my wife, can try something. Love little spots like this !

Cash Only. Get over it. Never would I have thought that the best burrito I would’ve had in LBC would come from a Bakery. So glad I made the trip. The two important«F“‘s = Flavorful and Filling. My go-to is the regular carne Asada burrito adding the nopales(cactus) It’s a real authentic add on IMO: it heightens the meat. Also, it reminds me of my moms authentic home Rito’s. Call ahead of you don’t wish to dine in. Ask for extra salsa if you like the heat(I do) It’s really good while still remaining spicy. Jalapeños and grilled onions are available per request. lemons, radishes and a few other things are self serve. If you save room, grab a fat conch or any other piece of assorted Mexican sweet bread. Or try the flan. I did. It was superb

I was in LBC visiting family from the east coast. We wanted to eat Mexican food outside in the warm weather. Found this hole in the wall place when my sister searched for breakfast burritos. Definitely worth it. We got three burritos for $ 15. Cant beat that. Also, just an FYI, they only take cash. All the people who work there were super nice, especially the lady that took our order. Will be back when I come back in town.
