My sons have gotten three really great haircuts since LIC Kids Cuts opened. Despite the neighbor being a bit tricky with their signage, don’t be fooled. She is terrific with kids — very patient and energetic. I highly recommend calling ahead, as she can usually easily fit you in.

I’m so happy to have this in the neighborhood! Such a cute little place and a great cut for my son at a very reasonable price. She is wonderful with our 2 year old and our son loves sitting in the car seats to have his haircut. A great addition to LIC.

Got my 15 month old’s hair cut, very well done, she watched Thomas the train and had bubbles going while getting her new do! Will go again! And it’s reasonably priced at $ 24!

Finally a boutique that dedicates itself to kids haircuts has come to LIC! Yay!
Vera was sweet, accommodating, and most importantly was successful in executing the precise hairstyle I wanted for my children.
While they do not have a storefront location, their shop is brightly lit and air conditioned. It’s also stocked with toys to help distract the little ones. My kids had a choice of two cars (fire engine & taxi) from which to sit in. From there, they watched their choice of DVDs while Vera worked her magic. She spoke gently to my kids & worked efficiently.
Considering we were there on her 2nd day of business, we were still able to get each kid done in less than 25min a piece! And that time included picking out a DVD, and discussing the haircut of choice. Success!
