Worst breakfast experience ever. Came in hungry, and left pissed off.
Disgusting coffee, messed up order, cardboard bacon.
Where are all these «fantastic» reviews coming in from? You all fooled me!
I’m absolutely serious. I never had a breakfast experience this terrible. The simple bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll that I ordered was screwed up. They put in all in a bagel instead. I never asked for that, man.
It tasted like complete dog crap. I’ve never eaten dog crap before but I’m pretty sure the taste of it is not far off from the sandwich I had this morning.
Also, how do you not have any milk in the milk can for coffee at 9 AM? It was bone dry. Do the employees do absolutely nothing in the morning to prepare for the day?
The coffee is horrible.
Go and try it yourself, I challenge you.
Paid in total about $ 15 for absolute bullshit. I hate you.

They have a nice verity of sandwiches and pastries and a decent salad bar. I stopped in for a salad. It was an amazing salad just a little pricey for me. It’s a nice spot to grab lunch or an iced coffee during your lunch break. The staff is friendly

Got my lunch delivered from here a few times.
Great, fresh food! Santa Fe and Caesar Salad are my favorite. Ingredients to the salads are very fresh.
Breakfast is great too. Bagels are perfect New York style bagels.
Burger is pretty good.
Def recommend!

Food and prices are very good! Since this place opened, it became my go-​to! And for my class also. Very spacious and nice atmosphere. The owner is always there and he is very nice and accomodating. They have an excellent staff as well. Spot nuvo hits the spot!

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Lunch is great amazing taste and healthy as well. I love the spot they have great service and the staff are very nice and friendly. I come here atleast 2 – 3 times a week. I recommend this spot to everyone. Give it a try!!!

Spot Nuvo is a solid lunch option for the area, especially if you’re trying to err on the healthier side. they recently closed and reopened, and honestly I like them more now.
previously, I had tried their prepackaged salads, and a buffalo chicken wrap, which were good, but the pulled pork sandwich and fries were just okay. however, they’ve revamped the menu, with a soup station featuring 5 or 6 soups each day, and you can have a made-​to-​order salad fully customized to your tastes. the sandwiches and panini are still good.
duly noted: the Unilocal app says they have a check-​in deal, but when I inquired about that, the staff said it wasn’t valid. still, prices are pretty good and the service is always friendly.

Thank goodness to all the powers that be for finally, finally, bringing someplace like this to a neighborhood that is lacking a healthy café with various options. At least, as far as I know. The cashiers and staff are very friendly and the service provided was wonderful. Nuvo has smoothies, fresh juice, fresh fruit, oatmeal, soy products, organic products. I could go on and on. One thing that I really like about this place is that the seating area is a nice size and the layout is cool for an eatery of sorts. It’s not too cramped or wide, which would give it a cafeteria feel. It’s just right. Thank you! I love it!

This place is THE BEST. Their Mac n cheese with bacon is amazing. Their service is impeccable. The restaurant itself is always very very clean. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Whether it’s a sandwich or the Mac n cheese or a latte or just a snack… This is THE SPOT!
If you are here during the morning… I HIGHLY recommend the bacon egg and cheese on croissant!!! Breakfast is usually just breakfast right? Not here. The simple ingredients are crafted in a perfect ratio that will leave you thinking…“maybe I need another!”

The BBQ Brisket Ciabetta is not a must try! Mine was definitely not fresh. The worst part is that they charge over $ 8 for something the size of a hot pocket. I’m not sure if they freeze their other foods but they shouldn’t be charging as much as they do for frozen food!

This place is simply amazing! Great staff (especially the delivery personnel) service & food! The music is awesome-​so much that i just had another chicken caesar salad with Chipotle dressing! The New York mini cheese cakes, are just as delightful! Come in and enjoy the ambiance!

I am truly a coffee lover and here at Spot Nuvo its amazing!!! the food is fresh and prices are reasonable! Love this place! definitely a must for a good meal while listening to cool music. my friends from work love coming here for lunch for a quick escape… to just mellow out :)

Bbq Brisket Ciabatta is a must try and the soup of the day Chicken Vegatable was excellent. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. The entire staff is super friendly and you will come back for more. A breakfast and lunch haven for the area. Students get 10% off.

Place has great potential. Panini’s are delicious but didn’t come with the celery as it stated. I called for a baked potato but apparently it was no longer a menu option although it was just the second week since they first opened– and it was still on menu’s. The chicken ceasar wrap had great flavor but very little dressing which made it a bit dry. For those who work in the area and only have a set lunch period– please call very much ahead. I called 15 minutes before going out to my 30 minute lunch and although I was told it would take no longer than 10 minutes– I ended up waiting an extra 15 once I got there. Also, very polite staff but very little knowledge with register/​computer. The place has great potential– just hope it’ll get better and more menu options are offered.

Place looks awesome and has so much potential because of the location, Van Dam Street. It’s a great addition as there is only the Van Dam Diner in the close vicinity in that part of the area. It is diagnally across from Laguardia Community College (back side) on the corner. It’s super cute and staff is sweet.
Only had two cookies and they were yummy! Will update this review with photos when I return.
