This is our first visit. We came on a Saturday night. There was not a wait to be seated. The turn around time for food was excellent. It was a very trek acing experience. The food was good. We definitely plan to come back again.

Based on takeout only, it looks like sushi x has just stopped trying. The sushi rolls are always disappointing and I’ve tried many. It is a good sized portion but flavor is just lacking. Also they’re closed on Monday which I find super weird. Their only incentive is probably the all you can eat on weekdays. I’ve never gone for that but people seem to like it…? Still, quality over quantity for me.

too far from the city and doesn’t really offer that much of a difference in terms of quality. AYCE mediocre. Maybe if you live nearby, but not if you have to trek from another neighborhood

If you like to eat sushi this is the place for you. The place itself is a nice modern looking restaurant. Everytime I come here I go for the all you can eat menu. The all you can eat menu is a large menu with a great selection of sushi as well as other foods. The food is prepared well and it is played very nicely. The staff has always been friendly and they have always provided us good service. Whenever I’m in the mood for sushi this is the place I go.

Updating my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. I’m still not happy that they automatically put a service fee when you dine in, but I must say their delivery service is excellent. We have ordered from them nearly every weekend for the past month or so and each time they come very quickly. Usually 30 minutes or less. The food is delicious and worth every penny too.

I’ve scanned through a few reviews before writing this, mostly about being«average service» was what struck me the most. I live a few blocks away from one of the«best, ahem» sushi places in queens and I choose going to Sushi X everytime I get a crave. First: I don’t know what you have to complain about when it comes to service and servers but those ladies are spot on. Very friendly, very helpful if you’re thinking about trying something new, and are always checking on you. Second: Being an «all-you-can-eat» you woukd expect gas station sushi. But honestly it is wayyyyy better than the price. The chefs there are very proficient and definitely know their way around a fish. Every single sashimi cut is heaven Third: The menu is designed for everyone’s flavor, it is very extensive and, yet I always order almost the same thing, every single new roll is better than the previous. Fourth: Tartare. ORDERTHESLAMONTARTARE. Fifth: One thing I would love to see made better is the peppered tuna. Only problem is too oily. All in all, one of the best sushi spots in LIC. And to add another star. The price is unbeatable and unbelievable

Sushi X is the perfect all you can eat sushi spot in LIC/Astoria,(maybe the only?). They give you a checklist menu and you’re able to order however much of each item you want. This includes appetizers, salads/soups, sushi, tempura, teriyaki, even green tea ice cream for dessert. Not only can you order a lot of food, but it’s also pretty tasty! The tempura shrimp is one of my favorite appetizers, and the fire something roll is my favorite sushi roll. Shrimp tempura inside with spicy crab on top… covered in the best sauce. If you drink a lot of water it may take a while for them to come give you a refill, but it’s probably because they’re usually busy. Even at 10:30 on Saturday night it’s practically dinner time. You can wear practically whatever, it’s a pretty casual restaurant. and the lighting is dim but not super dark and formal. They have really nice flat screen tv’s I have to say, mounted on the walls usually playing some sports channel.(Good random music too, some techno, some oldies, good mix) Note: ask for another checklist when you’re finished and go for round two! Don’t forget the green tea ice cream

Great food but slow service. I had been seated and it took 20 minutes for the waitress to take my order. But they do have a great playlist of K-POP, Some old school BIGBANG /2NE1 /GD&TOP

I love sushi C. Less then 40min, on my delivery & it’s raining. For real management should look into adding a(n) all you can eat for two. I’m just sayin

Sushi was of good quality, if I could rate on the quality alone, it would get 4 stars. Everything else was horrid, here is the breakdown of the evening: We didn’t even sit down before we were asked what we wanted, coat still halfway on. The two of us opted for the AYCE with two salads and a miso soup. Came out in good time, no issues so far. Food came out before we were halfway done with the salad(I’m not a slow eater). ½ of what we selected on the sheet was actually served, what was actually there wasn’t even accurate Ordered 3 pieces of sashimi, got none Ordered 3 rolls of Eel, got 1 Ordered 2 ‘special’ rolls, they came OK Ordered 1 clam, got none Ordered 1 spicy tuna, got 3 Water and green tea sat empty for 30 minutes… 1 hour after water and tea were filled(we were just about finished when they were filled) we are still staring at the plate with a few mangled little pieces left over. Tried to catch the waitress’s attention more than a few times with no avail Got a different waitress, let her know that we have been sitting here for over 30 minutes, no check, no menu, no nothing. She tells us «we don’t just bring out the check, it’s rude because it’s all-you-can-eat» OK then, why haven’t we gotten more papers to check more selections(or at least reorder the missing ones)? Order 2 green-tea ice-creams and the check, both come to the table promptly. While we are deliberating over how much to tip(I am a notorious over-tipper) we overhear another table ask about a service charge. YUP, no need to tip — stapled UNDER the receipt was the bill, with a $ 9.00 «service charge» conveniently obfuscated on a $ 49.99 check. Asked the second waitress what the service charge was, told it is standard tip for AYCE. REALLY? So annoyed at this 2 hour debacle at this point I just wanted out. Signed my name and walked through the doors for the last time ever. The first 30 minutes of Sushi X was fine, the other hour and a half of my fiancée and my life was wasted.

I always loved this place — great ambience, nice décor, awesome service but the best really is the food — it’s fresh and delicious and served very nice. I love the«all you can eat» because I get to be more adventurous and try risky things — so we did. I highly recommend this place and we will always come back!

It’s not amazing and it’s not terrible. It’s an average AYCE sushi place, so expect average sushi, an average price and average service! You will leave full. The size of their sashimi is worth mentioning. Thick slices of salmon is always a plus. Sushi rolls were decent. Can’t complain too much about that but their beef ribs were probably the best thing I ate all night though so definitely try that. Rock shrimp was kind of a joke because you can tell that it’s a dinky little frozen shrimp that they dipped in batter and fried. Not impressed. Do stay away from anything with kani. Their kani is below Average and left a weird taste. In other words. they use cheap kani here so don’t get it.

Waitress kept asking if we wanted the buffet and if we would not share. Hold up, I I didn’t order anything and your treating me like a five year old I guess they don’t know what they are doing. I feel the place has no identity and the sushi was passable but other than that I will not be coming back anytime soon Ps Don’t make your customers seat themselves unless you want to be the next Sushi McDonald’s.

Wow! What a hidden gem this place is! Terrible location as parking is tough, but I did walk so that did not effect me! All you can eat sushi, with apps & dessert!(The sushi was amazing!!!) bring your appetite to this place! I’m pretty picky when it comes to sushi… I’ve had AMAZING and I’ve had cheap. This sushi was pretty damn good! & for the amount I ordered, it came out quick! This place had plenty of choices, and I loved them all! Be sure to eat what you order Bc if you leave leftovers they will charge you for what isn’t eaten! I also had a 3 $ blue moon! Not a bad deal at all. Heads up! They included a service charge of $ 9 onto my bill — so I did not tip extra on top of that.

I found this place with Unilocal and decided to give them a try. I went with my wife for lunch and tried the Ace option. There was no lunch price, so they charged me 21.99. No biggie. My wife got the big cry baby for 14.95. It was extremely watered down and not worth it. Here’s list of what I had and its rating Shrimp tempura — 2 out of 10(it was very hard) Rock shrimp — 8 out of 10 Spicy tuna hand roll — 4 out of 10(sushi grade low) Crazy girl roll — 4 out 10 Kani salad — 2 out of ten(not fresh and not enough cucumber) Shumai — 8 out of 10 Tuna tartar — 4 out of 10 Pepper tuna — 8 out of 10 Firecracker roll — 5 out of 10 They tried to get me to double tip. The waitress made me wait 6 minutes for my check. They will not get my business again.

Probably my favorite AYCE sushi place. Consistently good food and service. We never feel rushed like other AYCE suhi restaurants. Waitresses are very attentive. They take away empty plates and give refills without having to ask. Plus they’re polite and nice. Let’s talk food… Our favorite rolls are the butterfly roll, sweet potato roll, and the one with shrimp tempura and crab on top(I forgot what it’s called). Their apps from the kitchen are also good. We usually order beef tips, rock shrimp, and calamari. We ordered edamame the other day but it tasted old, like it was reheated in a microwave or something. Prices are great too. I think Monday — Thursday it’s $ 21/person and during the weekend maybe $ 25/person. They also have an option in which you can have all the sake or beer you want with your meal. Not bad! We’ll definitely be back.

Words can’t express how happy I am to have found this spot! It’s probably the best, closest-to-Manhattan, AYCE sushi joint around. Good stuff all over, no complaints whatsoever. Here are the highlights: — $ 22 on a weekday for AYCE — +$ 10 extra for AYCD(all you can drink) sake and Bud Light. You can choose between hot or cold sake. — Wide variety of choices for the kitchen appetizers including but not limited to: spicy seaweed salad, kani salad, soups, gyoza, shumai, edamame, beef ribs(?! this is basically kalbi, first time I’ve seen it at a AYCE sushi place), udons, katsu, calamari, yakitori, tempura — Sushi, sashimi, handrolls, special rolls, ALL included! Fresh and they have pretty much anything you’d want. — Fried banana or red bean, green tea, vanilla ice cream included for dessert — Spicy mayo and hot tea for no extra cost — Service was quick and friendly. Refills were timely. No attitudes whatsoever. We even got smiles! — Restaurant was half empty on a Wednesday night. But we didn’t mind that cause quicker service :) — 2 bathrooms, both clean and spacious. Our service charge was included in the check though. But it’s not like we were going to give any less than 15% DEFINITELY coming back! I’ve already raved to everyone about this place. It’s an easy train ride from the MR off 46th st. This is 4 – 5 stops from Manhattan.

Who wouldn’t love unlimited sushi and sake for one price?! Waiters are always really nice and friendly. You fill out 2 sheets for kitchen items and then for raw items but you can have as many sheets as you can eat. The fish is always fresh and delicious. My only wish is for them to serve the fish colder. Be careful not to over order as they will charge you if its in excess.
