I have used this U Haul location twice this month since I moved, and fortunate enough I was quite satisfied with the outcome. The price of $ 19.99 per truck and a $ 1.99 per mile was reasonable plus the gas that needs to be replaced after. Although this location was really hard to find because it doesnt have a sign outside the gasoline station, it was amazing how they always have an available truck everytime we would just come and need one. Although I think that a reservation on line is much better. The whole thing came up to about $ 60 for 4 hours, so I guess with the labor for free it was all worth every penny.

This Uhaul location is really weird. It’s located inside of the Imbaba Service Station… and the door says Dunkin Donuts. I was so confused until I saw the tiny«Uhaul» sticker on the Dunkin Donuts door. You walk in and there is a Dunkin Donuts counter in front of you, a mini-convenience store to your right… and a little window with a cashier. Apparently, the cashier is also the UHaul rep. What? So confused. I thought that I was going to be able to get boxes, tape, other supplies, etc. In fact, I even told my brother… who I was helping to move… that he could get the extra stuff he needed there. Unless he was looking for Skittles and a bottle of motor oil… that failed to be true. That aside, the cashier was friendly, took me through the usual UHaul process(license, credit card, did I want insurance, etc). He miraculously hauled out two bags of furniture pads from some hidden hide-away in the back closet of his cashier cubicle as I had requested and handed over the keys to the 14 ft. beast that was to make its way from Astoria NY to Boston. Definitely not the most convenient place to have UHaul services, but it did the trick. The truck was clean, it ran well and the trip was smooth.
