Applebee’s

I have given this location 2 chances. Both time I was equally disappointed. The wait staff is not observant of their tables, leaving empty glasses unattended. The first time I asked for a high chair and watched as the girl went back to the hostess stand, get on her phone, and completely forget about the chair. I went and called her on the spot and got the chair myself. The food is, well, food. It has no taste, usually comes out luck warm/​cold. I wouldn’t even give the bar a chance. No wonder this location closed once before.

Don’t go there, management is horrible. Watched our beer sit at the bar and no one around to pick it up, bar tenders disappear, our waitress Caitlin was sweet, only good thing in the restaurant. Food was atrocious, my steak was GREY, my veggies barely cooked and my husbands baked potato was cold. Asked the manager Tom to come over and he barely reacted. Will never come back. Hope the little waitress finds a new job soon, she deserves it.

Don’t go to this restaurant as the food, service and management is the worst you can possibly imagine. Melissa A is a terrible server. Kayla is a horrible manager. Food came out barely warm and the entrée was totally wrong and messed up. They have no pride in anything they do. They should have stayed closed down and not bothered to reopen. I would have given them negative 5 stars if possible as they were that awful. Stay clear and go somewhere else for a good meal.

I’m disappointed in the food quality. I’ve tried it 3x, and twice, with car side to go, I was disappointed. The last time, I ordered the chicken oriental salad, and something was wrong with the chicken that I did not even try to eat it. It smelled like feces. I’m not joking! I almost threw up from the smell. I will never try to eat there again.

Our Team (9) from work chose Applebee’s for lunch. We waited over 45 minutes for our meals, and most of us ordered from the Lunch menu. When one of the guys complained the Manager came over and apologized. A free dessert was mentioned, but when we actually asked for it, they would only give us 4, rather than the entire group. The waitress was friendly, but kind of inefficient. To be fair, the food was good. There are enough places in Longmont to lunch, so I think it’s safe to say we won’t be back.

Applebee’s is your standard chain that can be fairly consistent with the food they pump out. The only reason why I’m reviewing this place and giving them 3 stars is because of the customer service. Yes, I’m all about awesome customer satisfaction and why not?! That’s what businesses should live by! Here’s a quick recap:
We waited 10 minutes to be seated. No worries there!
Our alcohol came out after our appetizers. Ehhh… okay. Not a super biggie but we did order them at the same time.
Entrees came out 45 minutes later. Are you serious?! That’s a hefty ticket time. Did someone forget to place our order in a timely manner?! Whatever!
Waitress… SMH! What waitress?!
Yes, I’m sorry to admit it but I gave her an attitude since she had the nerve to talk smack about my kids to her coworkers because they were playing with the salt & pepper shakers and the sugar packets on the empty table next to us. I’m sorry, but if my food takes forever and I didn’t see you a whole lot to ask for additional needed items like napkins, hot sauce, etc… the least they can do is keep themselves entertained while I finish my food and drink my drink. I know it use to annoy me but if you aren’t doing a good job, what do you expect? It’s not hard to wipe the table, refill your shakers, and add more sugar to the caddy.
I’d rather go to Chili’s. Yes, I said it! I guess I’m bias since I worked @ Chill is in my server days!

Typical Applebees… food is so-​so… but service is great and i must admit it’s good from time to time.

It’s your average Applebees – Nice and quiet after a day shopping or going to a movie… and great service, even on a weekday night! In a town that closes at nine, a chain restaurant with chain expectations as far as the food goes… but a quiet place to chat, not too busy and great service is about the best you can expect.
