I recently developed a nose bleed that wouldn’t stop. Sometimes it bled a LOT. My family doctor couldn’t figure out what was going on, so he sent me to see Dr. Cavanaugh. Firstly, he assured me I wouldn’t bleed to death. The then did a thorough exam and found where and why my nose was bleeding. He asked a lot of questions about the circumstances around my issue and was able to provide insight as to what was happening and the steps I could take to minimize and end these nose bleeds. Dr. Cavanaugh is very straightforward, which I greatly appreciate. Since seeing him and following his suggestions (none of which required a prescription), my nose bleeds have stopped. I’m greatly appreciative of Dr. Cavanaugh and the help he’s given me.

Abrasive and non-​congenial. Went for two visits, Dr. Cavanaugh prescribed me meds I don’t need and baited me along for more future visits w/​out diagnosing the real problem. What a ripoff artist.

For 9 months I was struggling with chronic neck and jaw pain. I also had headaches and dizziness. I visited 16 specialists and had a myriad of tests done. Although each doctor said everything was normal, I knew in my heart there was something wrong. I had even contemplated calling Mayo Clinic and setting up appointments there. I decided to go visit Dr. Cavanaugh. At my first appointment, Dr. Cavanaugh patiently went over my medical history and suggested I have an exam to see if I had vertigo. He also concurred that these symptoms could possibly be from clenching my teeth. His recommendations were to begin Physical Therapy and to wear a mouth guard while sleeping. Within a few weeks my dizziness had disappeared, my neck started to feel so much better, my jaw began to feel less locked and my headaches were gone. I am so relieved that Dr. Cavanaugh was able to help me get back to a normal life for my family. I truly appreciate his medical expertise and I highly recommend him.
