Chicken is ok. They don’t have any sauces besides their signature sauce. My kids wanted ranch dressing so bad. Plain chicken is not great. Everyone carries different sauces. Sweet tea is good.

I had a gift card for the«box» chicken strip selection on the menu. I believe it was four chicken strips, toast, cole slaw, and fries. The food was good, the service was good as well. I didn’t stay in line too long(Saturday night around 9ish) but there was a line of about 4 cars. I always order the lemonade. I asked for«light ice» because nowadays that’s all they serve you. A large cup of ice with«light» drink. I still got too much ice. Even with the«free meal,» I had to pay .35 for the lemonade. It’s worth it. Not as sweet as another Cane’s that I’ve tried, but good nonetheless. Top: if you dine in and order the lemonade, you pay for a refill. Extra Cane’s sauce costs too. The meal’s total without the gift card was $ 8.22. I will go back. I live for the Cane’s sauce !!!

The place is a madhouse at lunch. Getting a drink at the fountain can be a battle. Kids running around every where. Don’t come here for a relaxing meal. The chicken strips were average and the french fries were horrible. They look and taste like they were poured out of a frozen bag. Chicken Express has much better food. Well we tried it, but won’t go back.

Deliciously, tender chicken. It was amazing. Price was a bit high. Too much fries but some people enjoy fries. Service and ambiance was great! Will return!

First time I’ve ever been bummed about a Cane’s. Got my food in the drive through and when I got home I had no toast or Cane Sauce. Amazing chicken and fries, but very disappointed my order wasn’t complete.

Nothing against the people but I don’t see the hype about this place. Its some barely battered chicken w some bland boring fries with some so called«awesome sauce» I need good food to go with good sauce. I feel as if Tyson chicken and crinkle fries from the freezer section in the oven is better.

Really how long should it take to cook chicken. I was introduced to this place in another city. Too bad they couldn’t take the same service from there when opening this new location. It always amazes me how managers forget that they are standing behind a huge glass drive thru window. Here I sit for 10 minutes waiting for food while they just continue to carry on conversations with their young female employees.

I eat lunch here a couple of times a month– New store– it’s clean and the food is good. The typical fair for RC. I like it. The employees are enthusiastic about their jobs for sure. Always smiling, helpful and always busy tending to customers, when not doing that, they’re cleaning.

Their sweet tea is the best and the canes sauce is my favorite. Always fast and the food is always hot, so you know it hasn’t been sitting out. Love raisin canes!!!

I had this once in Louisiana and am married to a Cajun so I was happy when Cane’s came to Longview. It doesn’t disappoint. Parking is as much as you would expect for a fast food place and would be ample if Cane’s wasn’t so popular. Unfortunately, there is no parking on the street so if the parking lot is full you have to cheat from a business across the street. When the news wears off it may be easier to park. Parking is complicated by the long drive through line. It is not in an ideal location, but that makes it all the more amazing that it is always busy. The restaurant is clean and well run. The staff are so friendly and helpful I don’t know where they found young people who are that nice. Definitely a cut above most places. The food is excellent. Chicken is made to order, not left to get soggy on the outside and dry on the inside. Batter is always very hot and crispy and chicken is always tender. The fries are good. Crispy and salted just right. The slaw is fresh. The drinks are carbonated correctly and arrived(in drive through) just done. In the restaurant you get your own. The menu is basically chicken, bread, fries, and slaw. A very basic menu that they do very well. The sauce is fresh tasting but I really don’t understand the gushing reviews over it. It is tasty but a combination of common ingredients that can easily be found on the Internet. In any case, all ingredients of everything taste fresh and just cooked. Very good. Even though the main menu items are fried, the restaurant did not smell like a grease trap and the food was not dripping with oil. The bathrooms are clean and checked often. I had a problem with the drink dispenser(no ice) and a staff person had a manager at the machine in less than a minute. I was given a cup of ice and an apology before I could ask for either. People were constantly cleaning the restaurant. While the entire operation seems very smooth and well trained to get food out and keep turnover high, I did not feel rushed or in the way during any of my visits. I am absolutely sure that if I had a problem with a meal they would whisk the offending meal away and replace it immediately. This place has amazing customer service. I also noted that every single container of food is checked by someone who did not cook or contain it before it is handed to a customer. The drive through is slow because food is prepared per order. It seems a little slower than it should be. When I get food to go, I walk in and order it to go and always beat the drive through by half. The price is a little high for fried chicken. But consistent quality and moist, tender, chicken is worth the premium, I think. Still, it is high enough that you know you are not getting standard food and probably won’t be buying it all the time. About 9 dollars a person is what I seem to always spend. Other local chicken restaurants have to have noticed a dip in their business just based in the constant crush at this place. In sum, a good place. Very good. I wish it was a little bigger and could handle the demand a little faster, but that will come in time. For fast food this is very high quality. Business may drop a bit when Chipotle Grill opens close by. Why not five stars if I think it is so good and well run? Just the crush of people, time to get your order, and maybe a little bit too much in the price. Nothing major. I would call this 4.5 stars for the type of restaurant it is. I would give local competitors chicken express and golden chick maybe 3 stars.

I looooove Cane’s! In Louisiana they are everywhere so I was beyond stoked when I found out they were building one in Longview! We went to eat the first day they were opened and it was packed but the service was awesome! They got the food ready in a timely manner which was great because there were so many people there. The staff/manager would check on you regularly to make sure you were doing ok. I will be back :)

Service is polite, albeit a little slow. Still, our meals were served hot and fresh. Everything is good(especially the ice from the soda dispensers — Hot Dog Express has similar ice). — Not a huge restaurant, but still plenty of places to sit. We’ll be back.
