Oh my yummy!!! I was visiting the area and was pointed to Mustang Café and was so delighted that I went. It’s a quaint little spot filled with Americana charm, and my ribeye was one of the best I have ever eaten in my life! It melted in my mouth. Honestly, I don’t even remember what else I ate, though I remember ordering an appetizer. The steak was just so delicious! I would drive the 3.5 hours just to have that steak.

The owner, Bill, is very friendly & has created a really cool spot here. Everything we’ve tried is amazing. The onion rings are the best I’ve ever had anywhere… and I’m an onion ring freak! They’re light, crispy, full of flavor & you get a whole plate full! Free ice cream for dessert, too. We regularly drive 20 miles to get here & it never disappoints.

Locally owned, this is home cooking at it’s finest. Plenty of interesting old stuff to look at while you wait for your food. This menu has a variety of sandwiches and entrees. The must tries are the catfish filets or the onion rings. Hamburger steaks, salads, burgers and popcorn shrimp are good too and they even have pizza or chicken Alfredo. The sweet tea was fresh and perfectly sweetened and we were lucky enough to nab some leftover desserts from that day’s lunch buffet. Friendly service and great prices, we will eat here again and again.

Excellent little country restaurant. The staff treats you like family and the food is great. They’re known for their hamburgers, chicken strips, catfish, homemade onion rings and french fries. The prices are very reasonable. A must visit when in the Loretto area.
