Not only did my daughters improve thier math skills, but they enjoyed going to the tutoring sessions.

My rising 5th Grade daughter started at Mathnasium at the beginning of summer. She had been passing in Math, but it was a struggle and she was becoming fearful of anything math related. The owners were extremely helpful and reassuring, spent a lot of time assessing her and making her comfortable, and from the beginning she has loved going there. She actually asks if she can go. Now we’re a couple of months into 5th Grade and her teacher has described her as «a role model in Math» for her class. She is getting high grades and we’ve seen a huge improvement. I would not hesitate to recommend Mathnasium of Lorton.

Had my son stay in Lorton for 3 weeks over the summer to specifically attend Mathnasium of Lorton. The approach to math is logical and systematic. From the assessment to the plan and it’s implementation really is impressive. They gave my son a jump start on Algebra II and Geometry. Thanks Jim and Colleen, you are the best!

My 3rd grade son and his mom went in for his assessment yesterday. They were very pleased with the experience as they were very comfortable in the environment. (Very important because my son is rather shy!) The staff seemed focused on using the assessment to build a prescriptive learning plan to address gaps while also highlighting his strengths. Although I was not there I did have a chance to review the results and understand the correlation to the learning plan. Still early days but so far we are impressed. This service is a journey so I’ll post another update once we’ve had a couple months in the program.
