I’ve been using Best Dry Cleaners for over 15 years. I bounced around from most of the other cleaners in Los Alamitos due to issues I had with quality or honesty. I am so glad I found these people. Quality quality quality. And Honesty honesty honesty. My family does a lot of dry cleaning every week. Never a problem. Prices aren’t the cheapest but even those «cheap» places seem to have a way to not be so cheap with their prices. I will stick with people who don’t play games, have good hours and always have the clothes ready when they are supposed to be.

Drive thru service
This is the best rated place in the area. The only issue that my sister had is that they couldn’t take out stains from a skirt, but their intervention ruined the skirt even more (blotches of color surrounding the stains). They purchased a skirt of the same size, color and brand to replace it. She didn’t want the new skirt so they credited the price of the skirt to her account. I thought they handled that as best as they could.

I had some pants altered here. They did a great job. I haven’t had anything else done here so I can’t give a super through review of them thats the reason for the 4 stars. I’d definitely go back though.

great friendly service and my clothes always come back neat and clean… I also had a dress shirt altered and it came back fitting perfectly.

I love this place. I’ve been going here for about a year now and I’ve been so impressed with the prices and the service. One of the best things is that when you check-​in, they quickly give you a receipt and let you be on your way. So far, they haven’t lost any of my clothes or damage anything. There’s a little bit of a language barrier with some of the employees, but everyone seems nice.

I have been using this cleaner for several years., It is convenient with the drive through and the one day service. If you don’t point out a particular stain, they don’t address it. I was preparing for a trip so I had two bags of clothing. I was not sure if they did wash and fold, so I asked the young lady at the window and she said yes. I handed her one bag and repeated «this is wash and fold». Then I handed her another bag and said «this is dry cleaning». When I picked it up, they had dry cleaned everything and charged me an unbelievable bill! I explained it to the young woman and she said that I would have to speak to the owner. The owner first said, that everything needed to be dry cleaned. I pointed to the tee shirt that was visible to me, she insisted that it was a dry clean item! She said that they do wash and fold for sheets and socks. They young lady then said that she had already given me $ 5 off my $ 169 total. The owner kept up her inane rambling, showing how to fold socks. Finally, she agreed to another $ 5 off. I had an appointment, so I had to leave. I gave one star because she has a sweet staff. I will never go back.

Well this was my first time at Best Cleaners and it is 2 different experiences in one. The girls who work there are friendly and helpful. The woman who runs the place,(who is hopefully not a mother to one of them!) has learned Nothing about American style customer service. I took a $ 33 dress there to shorten ½ of the hem and take out some stains. The tailoring went great but one stain was still there in the center of the dress. The girl had already agreed to have them try to get that stain out again but while I was in the dressing room trying on the dress to make sure the hem was OK, I could hear the woman asking the girl over and over again the same question, while the patient girl kept repeating that I was trying on the dress and just needed another attempt made on one stain. When I came out, the woman took over and said in as nasty and abrupt a way as one can imagine, that no, she would not have her people try to remove the stain– that this is it! And she charged me $ 20 for that one dress. Do not go to this place because no matter how helpful the girls are, they do not have the final say-​so and the woman who does is uncaring and nasty.

4.5 stars… I’ve been coming here on and off for years, due to Best Cleaners’ close proximity to the ‘rents house and their drive through pick-​up/​drop-​off window.
In addition to countless items of dry cleaning, I’ve had numerous alterations and tailoring jobs here. Everything from hemming jeans and dress pants, taking in items of clothing that are now too big, and formal/​bridesmaids dresses for repairs and alterations… and I’ve never been disappointed. The alterations are usually done fairly quickly — 2 – 3 business days as quoted for bigger jobs, and sometimes just 24 hours for hems. I’d give 100 stars for alterations if I could!
The -.5 deduction comes on the cleaning side. Being a bit accident prone, I do tend to have my fair share of spills. When I am able to point them out ahead of time, Best Cleaners has no problems getting them out. But sometimes if I forget, or have a huge dry cleaning backlog, and I don’t point it out… it usually doesn’t get treated properly. I wish that they were a bit more thorough in their checks before cleaning, since after things are pressed stains almost never come out.
But like I said, 4.5 stars. And a drive through… what more could you ask for!

Had a great experience at this place
I had a last-​minute vegas dress alteration I needed done. I was referred here by *ahem* another similar business.
When I got there at 7:30am, a woman told me to try on the dress. When I did, she pinned up the hem like I asked, and tightened the (lace!) sleeves like I asked. Then her elderly mother comes out and says something in korean. The woman pinning my dress says, «my mother says she can see your butt.» We all laughed and I left.
When I got there THE NEXT DAY I was met with a smile, and I was surprised that my bill was under $ 30. Dress fit perfect, and they’re so nice.
I don’t do dry cleaning or alterations very much, but if I do I’ll be back here. I’ve also told my local friends. Thank you!

My family has been using this dry cleaners for about two years. They do a good job cleaning clothes and a fair to good job with alterations too. Their prices are not the cheapest but the main reason we continue to use them is the convenience of their drive-​thru window and the fact their cleaning service is consistent and, in general, good.
However their customer service is terrible. The owner immediately goes on the defensive and becomes quite offensive whenever a question is posed, either about a charge or the quality of a cleaned garment.
The other week, I returned a just cleaned polo shirt, still on its hanger, that had a light stain left on the front. I insisted the shirt be re-​cleaned and not be charged.
Of course, I was charged when I picked up the shirt. I brought this to the attention of the owner who immediately launched into an inane diatribe stating she was not the one to have taken the shirt back for re-​cleaning and therefore does not know what was agreed upon by the clerk who did.
Now let me point out that we have spent about $ 500-​$ 800 this year so far on dry cleaning at that shop and the shirt”s charge was $ 4.47. If only to placate a good customer, she should have immediately smiled and taken the charge off instead of fighting me on a $ 4.47 charge. Maybe it is a personal thing with her, or perhaps cultural, but my wife and I are pissed off and would suggest others find a more culturally and customer sensitive place to have your clothes cleaned unless, of course, you never have a need to challenge the owner.
Hey lady, we are doing you a favor to frequent YOUR establishment. we are YOUR customers and good ones to boot! Remember who is paying YOUR bills!

I took my wedding dress and my daughter’s flower girl dress here to be altered on a recommendation from a friend. They were unable to alter my dress but were honest and up front about it which I really appreciate. My daughter’s dress came out perfectly! They had to shorten the length, take in in about 2 sizes and shorten the straps. We dropped our items off on Saturday morning and it was done by Wednesday evening!

I’ve been going to this places for years since I lived right across the street. I live about 5 miles away and still make the trek to go here. I’ve tried closer cleaners, but they don’t compare to the service & prices here.

I love convenience, and this place offers it. They have a drive-​thru and they operate it very quickly. The ladies here are great and pay attention and know all of their regular customers. They are also very good at alterations and hard-​to-​clean items like rugs and curtains.
Every Christmas they give me a golf calendar and a lint brush! What’s not to like?

Best Cleaners. Not the greatest prices BUT they do a great job. Especially on hemming/​alterations… If you have a time constraint they will always get it done for you when you need. They also do that thing… Get it in by 9am out by 5pm if you need a rush. It’s nice.
Also, the women (of course korean) are always nice and cheery.
