Shonia Hair

Shonia has been the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. She knows what to do with my curly hair and does exactly what I ask for. I trust her hands and the scissors in them. If I ever had the guts to venture to do something crazy with my hair, I’d entrust her with my locks!
I enjoy conversations with Shonia-she’s real. I appreciate her discussion. The location is located in a very cute setting.

LOVE my hair after Shonia got a hold of it. I have had three VERY bad experiences with salons over the past few years and was very hesitant to try another one. But life does not allow bad hair, so after seeing what Shonia was able to do for some acquaintances, I took a chance. Boy am I glad I did. She was able to figure out the best cut and color for me to keep me looking young and not like a lame mom. Not that lame moms are a bad thing, but come on. No one wants to actually have their kids say you look boring. So now I’m awesome again and I have found my new OC stylist.

So I was driving down Jeffrey in Irvine earlier today, making a right onto Alton. I sat in the right hand of the two lanes to turn left, and a guy pulled up on my right, going straight on. He looked over at me, caught my eye, gave me a big smile, and mouthed «Hey!» I smiled, a bit embarrassed, and looked the other way, just as another guy in a car pulled up on my left at the lights. He caught me looking his way, broke into a smile, and said «Hi!»!
This has not happened once in the 2 years now that I have been living in SoCal! The ONLY thing I have done differently that I haven’t done in the previous two years is have Shonia do my hair!
I thought it looked great and she did a great job. It seems a couple of dudes driving round Irvine think so too! Thanks Shonia! You’ve given me great hair AND a spring in my step today!

Shonia is amazing! Her cut, color, and styling is second to none. She is especially good with curly hair but, as people with curly hair know, that only speaks to her expertise. Since curly hair is the most difficult to cut, anyone who cuts it well can handle any type of hair.
Shonia has my highest recommendation. She has never once disappointed. Plus, she’s a pretty great conversationalist! Go see her. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the cutest little shop. It’s tucked in a corner and it feels peaceful when I’m there. Shonia is great. She is creative and I never leave disappointed. I love that I can show up without any specific hair style in mind and she can work her magic. I also appreciate how she keeps up on current hair trends. She’s the best in the west!

Shonis is a talented stylist and I am so glad to be back in her chair. I am very happy with the color, cut and styling she does on my hair. Shonia creates a very relaxing environment and her new location is lovely. A garden, little shops, wind chimes, beautiful custom jewelry and art make this a fun shop to return too. My (adult) son has had some of his best cuts by Shonia. We would give Shonia many more stars if we could.

When my hair dresser of 25 years broke her arm, I tried a couple of places and got terrible cuts — then I went to Shonia and PIZAZZ! I had a great cut! Shonia is a professional and really took her time with me. I highly recommend her!

Shonia is the best stylist! She actually listens to what I want my hair to look like and then makes it happen. My whole family and I get our hair cut from Shonia. She’s personal, friendly, knowledgeable and a true artist. Shonia will cut my hair as long as I have it!

Going to Shonia is like a mental therapy, where you leave looking like a million bucks! Her patience and talent at doing hair is remarkable. She give the best scalp massages during hair washing. She is the only one I trust to restyle, color and revive my hair. I have tried other places, but none have come close to her touch with my hair.

Shonia is amazing! I look forward to my appointments every 6 weeks. My favorite part of the Shonia experience is getting my hair washed with a relaxing scalp massage. My cut and color are always perfect because she always remembers what we did the last time and she asks the right questions to make sure I get what I want. The new location is serene and beautiful in the corner of the most lush garden I’ve ever seen. You can shop, have a wonderful garden lunch, and get beautiful in one easy to access location. Go see Shonia once and you’ll never go anywhere else.
