My wife went in for an appointment — made three weeks in advance. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk informed her that a mistake had been made when the appointment was made(on their end) and that the MD(Irene Lin) couldn’t see her. When asked for more information the clerk said a 20min slot had been booked rather than the 30min slot that was needed. The receptionist then said«What are you here for?» My wife had to announce that she was there for a pap smear. After my wife explained that she had taken a half day at work to make the appointment, she asked if there was anybody else that she could see. A more senior receptionist chimed in and told her no and sternly told the other receptionist that the reason the doctor wouldn’t see my wife is because she was late(she was by 5 min because she had checked in at the wrong part of the office). They told my wife to make another appointment. Why should Irene Lin be dinged for a pretty bad office staff? Because she was consulted during these exchanges and directed the office manager to send my wife home. Why am I writing this — because my wife doesn’t have a Unilocal account and after hearing this account, I thought it needed to be shared.
