If you want the BEST wedding, engagement, portrait or family photographer — CHOOSE Nancy! You can’t get anyone better! I’ve been using her as my family photographer for the past 7 years and she is great not only with kids, but with all of the pictures I’ve needed for cards, headshots and now with my upcoming wedding. She has a great eye for lighting, design and location selection (if you aren’t sure). She also has wonderful vendors for makeup or hair if you need that. I only trust Nancy for all of my pictures and cannot recommend her enough for any photography I need — for any occasion.

Nancy photographed our wedding and we were completely delighted with her before, during and after the big day.
Before our wedding, Nancy was very accessible and responsive. She helped me think through the overall wedding day from a photography perspective, making sure we allowed enough time for formal and informal shots and, most importantly of all, quiet time for my new husband and I to have a few moments together away from all the hubbub.
During the wedding, Nancy was flawless. When I was getting stressed, she stayed calm and helped me refocus so that the smile on face stayed genuine and didn’t look fake. After smiling and posing for hours, it’s easy for your face to start looking tense and that’s the last thing you’ll want in your wedding pictures for the rest of your life. Nancy was great and reminding everyone to take a deep breath, relax and smile!
After the wedding, we were thrilled to see how beautiful her work turned out. Our pictures are stunning and she did an incredible job of capturing so many beautiful details.
We will absolutely be using Nancy again in the future and look forward to working with her for many years to come!

I needed a new photo for a corporate head shot and I figured that I might as well upgrade my Facebook and LinkedIn pics as well. Since Nancy Mueller Photography was convenient and relatively inexpensive, I decided to give her a try.
Nancy was great. Very prompt, courteous and personable. She chose Stanford University because it had nice colors, architecture and foliage. She also chose a time of day (mid evening) which was best for lighting. I would never have thought of these details, but they turned out to be great decisions.
The session lasted about 45 minutes and we took pictures in 3 – 4 locations. Sometimes she used a «fill flash», other times the ambient light was enough. Nancy was very good at picking poses that were both natural and comfortable at the same time made her client look as good as possible.
When I saw the proofs, I was amazed. Nancy chose about 10 pictures and they were all better than the best candid or professional picture that I had taken to date. I always have a problem with squinting my eyes but somehow I had nice round eyes in these photos. I also liked the way my smile looked. Nancy was good at making me laugh in a natural way which photographed very well. I ordered a few large prints for relatives (her prices for these are very reasonable as well). She also gave me the digital files so that I can send them to friends and family or post them on the Web. Nancy did a little editing to take away a few wrinkles and some «love handles», but nothing excessive.
Most people post a pretty mediocre photo on Facebook or whatever social networking site they prefer. They really need to think about spending a little money for a better shot. It makes a huge difference.
