I ordered from A Delphi Greek via seamless, and the delivery was very quick(30 minutes as promised). While I can’t review the actual restaurant, I can review the food – and the delivery is quite good. So far, I must admit that the salad here is great! I tried the gyro salad, knowing that some places make the dressing too sour. I was pleasantly surprised at how mild and refreshing the salad and dressing were! The gyro was also not too salty. For all you healthy-eaters out there, this is a go-to meal! My reservation for this place is with the appetizer that I ordered. The filet mignon skewer served on top of a pita bread was a big disappointment. The«presentation»(as if a delivery order should have standards for this) was terrible because this is literally a few pieces of meat placed on top of a pita bread. There was no additional sauce to combine the meat and pita into something more tasty and enjoyable. It might also be too much to expect these skewers to actually be as tender as filet mignon should be. I still see this place as a decent spot to order delivery in case you ever work late, and I will definitely try the other salads when I get another greek craving.

YUM! I ordered Avgolemono soup and the Chicken Athenian. Both were very good with lots of flavor. I ordered through the Unilocal Eat 24 ap. It was easy. Quick and friendly delivery! Thanks can’t wait to try more items on your menu!

The food was pretty good, but it bugs me when they charge an extra 1.99 if you want Feta cheese with your dish. I had a gyro sandwich, and it’s an extra charge for Feta. Isn’t Feta cheese part of what makes a gyro, a GYRO!!! I’d give this place at least one more star if that wasn’t the case, but for now I say«meh».

Went here last night with my wife and the fam. This is the second time I’ve been here and A Delphi does not disappoint. One of my favorite Greek restaurants in LA, by far one of the best spots. Try the Taramoslata which is a red caviar appetizer fish whipped with olive oil and lemon. So zesty and perfect with pita bread. I ordered the Zagori Spring Greek water for a beverage and it is an amazing spring water imported from Greece. The new itself was so amazing. I ordered the gyro plate with an extra side of Tatziki sauce. The lamb meat is so delicious that it melts in your mouth. You will not be disappointed.

Authentic Greek food at its best! If I close my eyes while eating it feels like I’m back in Greece. I recommend the lamb souvlaki!

on Oct 18 I was fortunate enough to be given an invitation to this restaurants 30th Anniversary party! The private party featured elected officials, movie and television stars, and some of the best Greek cuisine I have ever had. The Greek caviar was milder and tastier than some beluga I have had; the chicken and shrimp on skewers were grilled and seasoned to perfection; the dolma was outrageously good and the lamb chops OMG. I was stuffed, but wanted more, If you are on the Westside and you enjoy authentic Hellenic Cuisine, RUN, don’t walk,. the service is also terrific, and they have an authentic GREEK beer and wine list, And Please save some room for dessert. the pastry chef is also an award winner!

While I’m not Greek, I certainly enjoy Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. And this place always hits the spot for me. I’ve been enjoying Delphi for more than 10 years now and the food is always excellent. The owner is warm and friendly and cares about his patrons. The menu has everything you would expect/want from a Greek place and I can’t think of a single time I was disappointed with my meal… It’s small and the ambiance is, well, what it is, with nice murals painted on the walls etc. So is Delphi going to knock your socks off? maybe not… but you will leave full, happy, and satisfied! Plus the prices are more than fair so it’s a good value for a single diner or a party of friends… go give it a try!

First off their Greek chicken salad is off the grid. I come here about once a month every time I’m in the Westside and the chicken is always fresh and very flavorful. One of the best Greek chicken salads I’ve had in LA. Their pita bread was a bit tuff but that was quickly fixed by the friendly waitress. A bit pricey but it’s a nice little sit down restaurant so you get what you pay for. Always have a good experience when coming here.

These guys really have a good thing here. Decided to order online and it came out as good as online delivery could have. Ordered a Gyro with soup and a baklava. Order was timed out an hour, and the delivery guy came 10 minutes early. Left a note on how to get to the door from the front, and the guy was flawless in his arrival. Will definitely be ordering from this place again. But I do need to include that baklava isn’t the smartest idea for delivery. Not their fault, but it was super tough.(typical for phyllo when it sits to long)

Maybe it’s just because there aren’t any great, authentic Greek places near where I live in Glassell Park, but my husband and I were in the area last night, and had a great experience. We were in a bit of a time crunch and service was prompt, we got our waters and his salad and red wine and my avgolemono almost right away, and our gyros soon after. The wine wasn’t great but it was inoffensive, the salad and avgolemono were solid, and the gyros were great. I walked back later for galaktoboureko, one of my favorite desserts ever, and it was quite good(though personally I prefer it chilled). I didn’t have a chance to go over the menu as much as I’d like, but I’d love to come back and check out the spanakopita, keftedes, and dolmades :) Also I enjoyed the Greek music!

I walked in and the place was practically empty. The server was lethargic and inattentive. And my order was taken incorrectly after I repeated it twice. Which was funny because the table I sat at had customer service accolades on the wall. The food wasn’t anything special; the price was ridiculous given the amount and quality of the food served. My salad was warm and didn’t seem fresh. The pita had about 3 thinly sliced pieces of dry, lukewarm gyro in it. Fortunately, it tasted decent though. Overall, it felt like fast food Greek at restaurant prices. I would not readily recommend this place.

Westwood abounds with Greek food offerings, and so far, this is the best I’ve found. While some other vegetarian falafel plates at nearby restaurants have been seriously inedible, I’m happy to have found a restaurant that offers a generous serving of rice, falafel, veggies, and steamed veggies for a falafel plate. This was so filling that I could barely finish the whole thing(unheard of for me). I wasn’t blown away with the taste(some tabbouli might add some fresh flavor?), but was glad to find decent Greek food. I order lunch for my office during the weekdays, and will add this restaurant to our rotation.

Greet from Kiev Ukraine, Bashkalov Babadook like Delphi during business trip to Los Angels. It not how you say? Reinvigorate the wheels but is good portions for price. Tabouleh is very yummy like my great great grandmother Balakai Tuliegby used to make it back in old country before evil Cossacks burnt my home to ground… Miss those days. Anyway B. Babadook recommend Delphis for sure. okay thanks Bashkalov B. from Ukraines

Last week, after lunch with my significant other, we were walking to my car when she said, «Let’s get baklava here!» Who am I to argue? So we walked in and placed an order for two pieces. «It’s the best in town — lots of people come here specially for that,» said the nice lady, although I have to admit that I don’t remember what she said — it was something to the effect of that! I can’t say I’m a baklava connoisseur(despite being introduced to the delicacy in Delaware, of all places, when I was 6), so I don’t have the palate to properly deem their baklava the best in town. But I asked my gf and she said, «Yeah, it’s pretty excellent.» So there ya have it. We haven’t sampled the other items so this review is not based on a proper dining experience, for what it’s worth.

I’ve only ever gotten take out and delivery from here but I have no complaints. I get the chicken shawarma, and the first time I had to call the restaurant asking where the chicken was and I had mistaken it for the appearance of pita. So remember that when ordering it, that plate is a little different than other chicken dishes. The portion size is great, although there could be some more chicken and maybe slightly less rice. They are open until a decent hour which is a great alternative to other heavier cuisine offerings at 11.

Pretty mediocre. Came here with 4 other family members last night for the first time and decided to give it a chance despite the mixed reviews. it was super bowl Sunday so we were the only people in the restaurant the entire time. we expected service to be excellent, it wasn’t. within a minute of sitting down the waitress spilled a glass of water across the table and basically didn’t even say anything except a simple«sorry». we moved ourselves and she followed. the entire meal we had to call her attention for drink refills and she had no personality or smile the entire time. i ordered the filet skewers which came with vegetables and rice. i asked her what vegetables came with the meals twice and was told broccoli, peas, and carrots, only to find my steak covered in bell peppers(which i cannot eat). i had to have my entire meal recooked and she seemed annoyed even though it was her own fault. vegetables were bland and the peas were overcooked. the oven roasted potatoes which i substituted for rhe basmati rice were very good, one of the only good things the whole meal. half of my filet pieces were good and half were entirely gristle. she came over and picked up my side plate with two pieces of gristly meat and didnt even say anything like«how is your meat» or «is there something wrong with the meat.» Clearly I did not order $ 20 filet mignon only to dispose of a quarter of it. I ordered a spanokopita appetizer which was pretty horrible. It came with 3 small triangles, 2 of which had no feta! My mother ordered the same thing and all 3 of her triangles had no feta. her dough was also under baked while mine as flaky as it should be. The frozen spanokopita at Trader Joes would have been better than this. The $ 10 price tag for this is absurd. The calamari was amazing, probably the best I have had, and everyone else at the table agreed. Still, $ 12 for this was overpriced. This was the best item the entire meal. The complimentary bread was awful, stale and flavorless. My grandmother got the lamb skewers and seemed to enjoy it but wasnt crazy about it. My cousin got the shrimp skewers and enjoyed it, but we all agreed the vegetables were bland and just bad. I should note that the lamb dish prices were significantly raised from the prices on the online menu. after inquiring, we found out that menu is old… which is aggravating and misleading and feel it should be taken down. My grandmother ordered a greek salad which we all shared. It was quite good, but once again, overpriced for $ 12… As was the unsweetened iced tea they charged $ 4 for, I have never heard of any restaurant charging $ 4 for unsweetened iced tea, even very expensive places. For dessert we ordered 3 things; chocolate cake, mango/coconut sorbet, and the custard baked dessert I cannot pronounce. The chocolate cake I did not try but my family claimed it tasted store bought and very meh, the coconut/mango sorbet was very good but a bit too frozen and a rip off for $ 7. The custard dessert was a reasonable $ 5 and was very good. We ordered a few other things not mentioned and the meal ended up being around $ 45 a person including a discount from a coupon. they automatically charge %18 gratuity for parties of 5 or more, so we had no choice of tip. This waitress didn’t even deserve %15 as far as I am concerned. We were the only people in the entire place, so we should not have had to raise our hands for attention or flag down the waitress. Fortunately, I live in the valley and have several great greek places to go to if i want good greek food. We will not be returning. Summary: if you insist on trying this place, you may have some good food and may have some bad food. the dessert is good, the calamari is good, the potatoes are good, and the greek salad is good. just dont expect friendly service, and expect it to be overpriced.

Really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the food was very bland. We had the lamb and gyro. The hummus was decent. The only thing I really liked was the bread, which was not homemade. Expensive dinner pricing considering the atmsophere and what you’re getting. Too bad. Was looking for a Greek restaurant on the Westside.
