Landlord used Justin once when he was based in Brooklyn. Decent and seemingly nice repair guy. Terrible communicator. I kept asking just for a simple explanation in writing for my landlords for why a gasket seal needed replacing(since they weren’t convinced it was necessary just by looking at it), and instead of doing this for us, Justin just kept writing extensive e-mails about how he couldn’t find the exact part needed and suggested alternatives. Great. Except before considering alternatives, I needed my landlords on board that repairs were necessary. Never got the explanation of the issue for my landlords. He did try to tell me he sent an e-mail(again, not with information I needed), which I never got and he «forwarded» a version without a timestamp, which seems like he was just trying to hide the fact that he hadn’t been communicative. So, wasted time for both of us. Don’t really understand what was so hard about my request, but Justin spent over a month dodging answering it and then just disappeared.

They did a good job replacing the electronic ignition switch on my oven, but then the part they replaced failed. I reached out to see if it was still under warranty and to understand my options, but they won’t even return my calls. I see that they’ve moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles, but who cares. Return your calls or emails, provide good service to the people who have paid you. Otherwise, they might write bad reviews about you on Unilocal

They were right on time and explained the problem with my washer that overflowed once. Apparently there was no problem and there hasn’t been one since. I appreciate that they cleaned out the dryer as a freebie because there was nothing to be done with the washer. I fault them only for the fact that they don’t provide a receipt on the spot — so don’t count on writing off any repairs for tax purposes. Over the course of 4 months I contacted them 6 times and was always met with a kindly, «absolutely, first thing in the morning» or «busy day today — i’ll get that receipt out to you first thing». Somewhat disorganized so just insist on a receipt while they’re there. Otherwise, excellent service as far as I can tell.

My dishwasher started leaking water through the bottom and my hardwood flooring was going to be ruined! Justin came by the same day and fixed it in no time! Saved me from losing my deposit. Thanks Justin!
