So far it’s my first choice for Filipino food. I’ve been bringing my friends and family to this restaurant. Food taste great and the desserts are a must try. Friendly staff and the location is great.

If you looking for a good Filipino fast food then look no further. Service is fast and quick. They have the food pre-made in front of you. Prices are reasonable and the food is authentic. Reminds me of my grandma’s cooking. Parking is a bit of a challenge though because it is super limited and small. Oh and don’t forget to order Halo-Halo(filipino dessert). It is super delicious. So what you waiting for just come out and try it yourself.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I am a Filipino women who lives in historic Filipino town but yet has trouble finding really good inexpensive authentic Filipino food. Pretty much I miss my moms cooking. I stumbled upon this place by accident as I was having a major Filipino cuisine craving, and this place is beyond words. EVERYTHING is so good and tastes just like moms cooking. I always get the diniguan if I even spelled it right but omg it’s so good and made perfectly. Highly recommend this place! Parking is a bit of a headache given the limited spots but worth it. There’s plenty of parking around but know it’s metered.

I was looking for a quick lunch and decided to check out this place since it was close to work. It’s a Filipino Panda Express-style place with a counter full of premade hot food. I got the 2 entrée combo with chicken and vegetable as my 1st entrée and a beef stew as my The combo comes with white rice and soup. The soup was your typical chicken stock broth. The beef entrée had a tomato base and cooked with potatoes, carrots, and olives. It was very flavorful and the beef was extremely tender. Would definitely recommend this dish. The stir fry veggie was ok. It was a mix of snow peas, carrots, broccoli, and string beans. It was a little bland and could have been a little bit warmer. To quench my thirst, I also ordered the melon juice for $ 2. It was delicious and refreshing. It wasn’t too sweet but the best part was the shredded cantaloupe pieces. Total for my combo and melon juice came out to around $ 11.50 The staff were all really friendly. One of the workers even said bye to me and thanked me for eating there. Loved the hospitality and homey environment there. Overall, not a bad Filipino restaurant.

Walking into this place you think oh, it’s like getting chinese food. However, this is not chinese food, it’s much more elevated. This is legit-homey-feel filipino comfort food. I didn’t know what I got, but it was all so yummmmy. It tasted like a a long forgotten auntie that I never had came back and made me a delicious lunch. I highly recommend you go if you’re craving filipino food or would like to try filipino food.

This review is long overdue. The only reason why I gave this place 3 stars is because how hot and musty it gets, and I do not know if they’re trying to conserve energy? With that said, all their food is pretty A ok. I really do enjoy their chicken & pork adobo. Their lechon is super crunchy and all that good fatness! If you eat in, you’ll get a mini side soup of the day on the side. Do pay with cash as there is a $ 10 min for credit card. But I’ve notice only the old man charges me the fee when I pay with credit card. The younger guy does not? But anyways I come on regular basis… the older gentlemen should at least waive it off *just saying as a regular customer*. Overall decent food but please turn up ur AC! It’s hot as hell at ur establishment! Especially in this heat wave we are having! People want to enjoy your food but not break sweat while eating!

When you’re in Mid East Hollywood and you want Filipino fast food, like chicken adobo, pork adobo this is a good spot to go to. The prices are fair the food is fast and pretty good. They also have limited parking that’s one of the challenges… although the good news is that they have holo holo and Sogo these are all called Filipino ice drinks, check it out or check them out when you have a chance.

Good food at reasonable price. But how do you only make garlic rice in the morning versus all day? Doesn’t make any sense, if you sell out in the afternoon then that probably means it is good and maybe you should keep it going.

This place is legit! Hubby has been raving about wanting to have authentic Filipino food since moving to LA, and we have found our spot. We had the garlic rice, chicken adobo, pork adobo, lumpia, and a side of sinigang soup– AMAZING. The portions were large enough for left overs and the price is so cheap. We both fell in love and have found a weekend staple…

I drive by here all the time and think that the logo is very cute. I saw on the House of Silvana’s site that they were sold here, but I dropped by and found out its been years since they stopped selling silvanas. Boo :(I talked to the owner, who was very nice… very Tito and friendly. Since then I’ve dropped by every so often when I crave Filipino food. Everything has been affordable and yummy: bangus, kare kare, beefsteak, calamansi juice… all has been a great quick meal. I support Adobo grill!

Randomly ended up here when the folks I was with couldn’t find parking at another place we wanted to try. It’s a Filipino turo-turo place with items cooked and customers point out what they want to make their combos. Their turo-turo spread that day consisted of various Filipino dishes of fried fish, lumpia, beef steak, pork adobo and chicken afritada. The prices of the combo vary. You pay more for combos if you include fish or beef. I got the beef steak and found it to be ok and nothing too special. We also got a side of fried chicken skin and it was nice and crispy. It was good when dipped in vinegar. Overall, nothing to special and as I mentioend ended up here purely by accident.

Love walking in and being what seems to be the only non-Filipino, very good sign! This restaurant is «cafeteria» style, wherein dishes are precooked and set out on hot trays and you choose what you want either a la carte or as a combo. Meat + heaping portion of rice is something like $ 4−6…very cheap for quantity. They heave beautiful whole fried fish, slabs of pork belly, kebabs, grilled squid, pork stews, sardines, etc. etc. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. They’re open for all day and I’m looking forward to trying the traditional Filipino breakfast of fried fish, egg, and rice. You can get samples and they’re happy to answer questions to the culturally uninformed like myself. The macaroons and chocolate crinkle desserts that they sell are moist & delicious. Also they have an espresso bar, but I’m not too excited about the beans they use. Tastes a bit stale. DONOT skip vinegar sauce on the tables. In fact, add it to everything. Also ask for liver sauce if it’s not out.

It’s decent fast food Filipino food. Everything is premade and ready for the choosing. This is the Filipino equivalent to Panda, but do much better. Mans sure you bring cash, as they have a 10 buck minimum on card. Can’t go wrong with Turon!

We are visiting from MN and definitely wanted to try out a Filipino restaurant since there’s none in MN. After hiking up the Mt Hollywood Trail, I was ready for some Filipino food! I ordered the garlic fried rice with half a bangus and melon juice… Reminded me of my childhood… So yummy! For dessert, I had to get halo halo of course! And it did not disappoint. So so delicious! I wish we had places like this back home.

Three letters: BTL Three words: Better Than Lechon Sure it is super expensive at $ 10/lb, especially for Filipino food in a cafeteria style establishment. And the rice is not even included in that! Sure it is greasy as all heck. But man oh man the cost and the potential heart attack is sooo worth it. They took what we love the most from lechon… crispy crunchy pork skin, flavorful fat, soft tender pork belly… and turbo-ed it! They picked only the pork belly, and rolled up a bunch of herbs and spices in it(the only ones I could pick out are garlic and lemongrass but I know it’s got to have more flavors in it than that), tied it up and then cooked it. Mmmmm, mmmmmm! 1 pound was definitely too rich for me. It had to be shared with another person. But man, I still dream about this… sigh…

came here to order to-go! place is kind of sketchy, but the adobo chicken was soooooo darn good. seriously, it was fall off the bones mouth puckering good. man, can’t stop thinking about it! never thought this place will be that good. only thing is the service. it wasn’t the best. my combo was supposed to come with soup but they didn’t offer any. and also when i asked for coffee, they didn’t have any. could have been a little more proactive on their part so they can give better direction and service to customers. but i’m still glad there was this spot! willing to try again next time.

I randomly ended up here when I let my car take me to a new place for lunch. I hadn’t had Filipino food in a long time! I’ve driven by this place a few times but this was my first time trying it. It’s fast food with the dishes already made in hot trays. The selection was pretty good, there were maybe 10 – 12 choices. I got a one item combo, about $ 5. It comes with rice, soup and for my one item, I asked the girl working there what she would recommend. She said the adobo, or some kind of red beef stew. I don’t know the name of the dishes! Everything looked pretty good and fresh, I would’ve gotten two items had I been more hungry. Anyway I opted for the beef stew. The beef was tender, with some veggies, and I think the sauce is tomato based. It was super saucy… so good with white rice. For dessert I got halo halo. I’ve had better one elsewhere, and the scoop of ube ice cream was so small… but I still liked it after I stirred everything together. There were a lot of fruits and beans(or whatever they put in there) but I love ube ice cream so I wish there had been more. I also got one of each of the cookies from the display to try. Well not the silvana cookies because they were a dollar each(that’s an expensive cookie!), and apparently you have to eat them right away because they give them to you frozen! I got the original flavor(there were maybe 8 flavors). it’s thin and delicate, a little too sweet I thought, and slightly chewy. As for the other cookies, they were wrapped like candy. I ate them a while later though(like more than a week later haha) so my opinion would be based on stale cookies o_o but you know what, stale or not, they were good! They reminded me of shortbread, crumbly but with bits of dried fruit. But again, maybe they are not supposed to be that way… ahha I’ll have to try them again fresh. Overall I thought this place was great for lunch. Sometimes I want some cheap hot food, don’t feel like chinese food or sandwiches or fast food burgers, and this is a good spot. The parking is a little small, but I went there around 1:40 pm and I had no problem parking.
