Empty place. No waiting time. Super amazing chicken tenders. Cheap food. Cheap hookah. Polite and courteous owners. I would visit this place again and again just for those yummy chicken tenders and the cheap hookah!

Ordered take out from here and was looking forward to the braised chicken and rice. When it arrived the food was hot, but it tasted terrible. The chicken I ordered was bland and had no taste. There was a abundance of rice but that tasted terrible as well. The Tzatziki sauce had zero cucumbers in it and tasted like pure garlic. The hummus and pita were only things eaten out of the whole meal. Very disappointed.

Every time I come here, I am starving from a long day of hiking. I love their halal burgers and pizza. They are pretty tasty, more so than the average hole in the wall restaurant. I literally make mmm sounds every time I eat here. I’ve had their whole chicken and lamb kabse and those are really good as well. The owner once served us a free pot of Arabic coffee – not Turkish – it was a golden color and I’ve never had that before. I love the sit-down style of eating, so much that I made my house the same way.

Service was friendly but sparse. Did not serve water or ask to bring any. We asked for spicy. It was very mild. Good flavor but not memorable by the time I am writing this review. Tomatoes were pink and chicken was bland. Lamb had good flavor and very tender, succulent flavor. You will sit on the floor here without wearing shoes. Just a heads up. Would only return if friends make me.

They always take forever to bring the food and please take down the one dollar sign because this restaurant is more like $$$ specially when 3 people total comes to over a 100 $, food is not bad but it’s not authentic or done the authentic way

Before you read this, know I hate giving bad reviews unless they are absolutely necessary. This is a long one and worth the read but I’m short this restaurant: 1. MINDLESSSTAFF, THATCANTEFFECTIVELYCOMMUNICATE2. MISLEADINGPRICES and OVERPRICED3. DISHONESTMONEYGRUBBINGDELIVERYDRIVERS. 4. UTTERDISRESPECTOFPATRONSTORESTAURANT5. UNSEASONED, CHEWYMEATKABOBS I just moved to the area and decided to order take out. I wanted something under $ 10 maybe $ 15 if I had delivery. I chose this place because in Unilocal they showed«$» and their food pictures were very appetizing and located the restaurant was 0.2 miles or 6 blocks from my home. I called this restaurant, and a young lady answered the phone, received my order of 2 meat kabob combo, and then told me casually that my total was $ 34.56!!! I literally LOL’d it was so ridiculous. I asked her why on Unilocal it indicated their price range was«$?» She just repeated back«well because it comes with one side of hummus, and one small salad. No she did not make the prices, but she didn’t address why their prices in Unilocal hadn’t been updated either which would have sufficed me. MINDLESSSTAFF, and MISLEADINGPRICES … I cut my order down to 1 kabob, and the total still came to $ 17.78. My friend Was ubering over from mid Wiltshire district and I asked if she would pick it up my food on the way, but when she arrived 20 minutes later, it wasn’t ready because they lady who took my order«forgot to put in,» a basic kabob combo plate. This seemed unusual to me on a Friday night around dinner time. they told my friend they would deliver the food to my house when it was ready. ANHOUR and 15 minutes later…(Remember location is 0.2 miles from my house.)We get a call from the delivery driver who was lost. He was only a block south on my same street. And he could not understand my directions to simply turn around on the same street he was already on. I walked out to the street to see him coming. And as I’m on the phone with him he turns right into an ally leading to apt parking lot, and I say«no, simply turn around on the same street, and you will see me in the center of the street.» He maneuvers back to his original place on my street, drives up a little and turns into a house and asks if he was in the right place, I said so do you see a girl standing in front of your car, «no,» he replied . I asked him if he was drunk because how could he not remember or follow my simple instructions, given just a moment ago. Finally the driver and what looked like his personal friend pull up to my house laughing and smirking in my face, the passenger shoves my food out of the car window and says«HERE,» I replied with a catty«Whatever take the money then.» I turned to walk back to my apartment and tires screech as the speed off. UTTERDISRESPECTOFPATRONSTORESTAURANT I was so hungry and frustrated that I threw 20 $ on their car, took my food, and walked back into my apartment building but felt like they spat in my food. I get in and my friend asks if they took my cash for the order? I said yeah why? She asked because they had already charged her card for the order in the restaurant. We look at her receipt and it reads«PAID» and has the last 4 of her card. There was no other receipt with my order once delivered. DISHONESTMONEYGRUBBINGDELIVERYDRIVERS The meat was unseasoned n’ chewy to no end, the hummus tasted store bought, and the salad was dominated by raw onions… JUSTPLAINOL’ BADFOOD

Everything is good and I am happy to have found an Arabian restaurant, being a huge fan of mandi and kabsa. The owner Ibrahim is really friendly and gives us discounts always either in terms of extra rice or Hookah flavour change for free. Only thing I felt is that the taste changes every time I visit in terms of the amount of spices added. If they control it then that would be great.

This place is with it… If you like to try new foods then you should visit at least once. Different atmosphere… As in sit in cubicle type area on the floor. If that’s not comfortable for you then they do have tables. Enjoy

Was this the«best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had in my life?» Probably not. I’m spoiled with lots of good Persian food in the valley and in my house. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t «beach body ready» this summer! Go figure! Anyways, I was around downtown today and all of a sudden a craving for Middle Eastern food came out of no where. I know where to go if I’m in the valley, but not here! Hence I turned to my handy dandy Unilocal and came across this place. The girl at the front, I believe her name was Abby was so sweet and helpful. It was my first time there and she explained the menu and told us that the shawarma was a favorite. The place has an authentic and welcoming feel to it. They also have hookah but I didn’t have time I stay! I wish I would have tried the hookah. The aromas here are amazing! Our order took a while and the girl was really sweet and have us this chocolate package treat that she said were a treat from Saudi Arabia! So nice to try something so cool! Thank you guys!

I was really excited about finding out they deliver. I am a big fan of middle eastern food. Ground beef kabobs and basmati rice charred tomato and raw onion is some what of a comfort food for me. After seeing pictures of the place and some of the food I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve had the very best and I’m sorry to say I’ve now had the very worst. My order was delivered fast the driver was friendly. The only good but the food… really bad. I found 5 whole cardamom seeds two large bay leaves in the rice!!! If used properly this gives the rice a great flavor and aroma. Five in a serving of rice is too much and tasted horrible. It was cardamom overload. The baba ghanoush had no flavor and was not appetizing. The tahini was over seasoned night I add the only thing seasoned. The kabobs were dry and had no flavor they did have a very strong cardamom flavor.:/ The chicken was moist but had no seasoning. The falafels were flavorless and dry it was like biting into a sawdust cake. The pickles were from a can and had a funny after taste. I am puzzled how a place that looks authentic can execute food so poorly. Huge fail on my decision to order from here. I feel very bad for having to give such a harsh review. But I paid $ 35 for my meal which after a few bites went into the garbage. I would not recommend or order from this place again. I have two words«Line checks»

Portions are never the same! Prices are always up and down! The spices keep changing! Most of the time the food is served cold! When I complained to one of the owners why the prices went up and the portions became smaller, he said«because we got several fines totalling about $ 40K when we first started the business few months ago and we have to pay for them!» Not recommended, I will go somewhere else

The zabihah halal food is amazing and friendly service. The owner Yasser is nice and the chef Ramez is talented. The cuisine is Syrian/Saudi and you can eat family style too. It is reasonable priced for the quality of food and portions. The inside seating area is great. You can sit arab style on the ground or on tables. Also there is a large patio outside. We ordered the kabsa chicken and goat and were in a food coma before we knew it. The hot sauce was a great compliment. For those who want hookah, they have an outside patio. Best part is that it’s open late especially if looking for a late night lounge spot. Open till midnight during the week and 2am on the weekend. Definitely will be a go to spot!
