Ammo – Los Angeles

Their prepared salads are my favorite, especially the beet salad! Service is awesome, everyone is super friendly and helpful.

The AMMOtoGO breakfast bowl is some real tasty goodness. It’s everything the McDonalds breakfast bowls strive to be: savory, nutritious, equally delicious; a composition of vegetables, grains and protein, executed with quality.
The bowl is prepared to order & contains: perfectly cooked brown rice, tender mushrooms, al dente kale, roasted purple, carrots, pickled leeks and juicy, house made chicken sausage (which is spiced just right to remind you that you are having breakast). You also have the option of adding a fried egg, cooked: sunny side w/​crisp edges, runny yolk.
Enjoyed everything about this bowl: how the runny yolk combines with the rice, making it risotto-​like, the acidity from the pickled leeks helps balance the richness of the sausage & the egg, and the textures you experience with each bite from the various veg.
The price point (bowl $ 10, additional $ 3 for the egg) is competitive, considering SQIRL’s pesto rice bowl (w sausage) is $ 11, and the rice bowls at Edibol are between $ 9-​$ 14.
Just a heads up: there isn’t a dining area.
To be fair, the place is titled AMMOtoGO, so you ain’t gotta go home but you gotta… (well you know the rest).

What a cute little spot! I was in a hurry during my lunch break so I stopped in to grab a sandwich and they were so quick! The lady at the counter was so great, since I had never been before she walked me through her favorite sandwiches on the menu. I decided on the Grilled Steak and OMG it was so good!!! Not sure if they make their sourdough in house but it was some of the best bread I have ever had! And their crème fraught was so good.
I highly recommend Ammo. I’ll be back for sure to try the bakery treats because they looked and smelled so great!

This place is awesome! So happy they’re back!!! The service is outstanding and the food is to die for. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you must go! Right on Melrose… it’s super cute!

Definitely a great spot for lunch and breakfast! If your in the area looking for something that’s quick and quality this is the spot!

What a great restaurant! Great customer service and amazing food! Their prosciutto sandwich was amazing, super fresh and yummy! And the pastries are amazingly delicious as well, freshly baked every morning!
