This theater is very cozy and any seat is a good one. They have a nice outdoor section as well. Plenty of street parking available

I saw Our Class last night here at Atwater. The acting was phenomenal even though the show was about an hour longer than it needed be. There isn’t any kind of lobby at this theater. The front desk is open to the elements so I would not recommend coming any more than 10 minutes early, especially if it’s cold and/or windy. I believe there must be more than one stage because I was directed to enter to the right for my production while other show-goers were entering on the left. It was a very unique stage– unique at least to someone who isn’t very familiar with theater. Rather than an elevated stage, the audience sat in a single row in the shape of a square above and around the stage with just the four corners open for entering and exiting. It was an interesting perspective because what was face forward to me was backwards to the row sitting across from me. There were approximately 50 seats which makes you wonder how these productions make any money. Concessions– that’s how. Beer, wine, soda, and water is available for purchase at the desk during intermission. They come in small clear cups and are pretty pricey for what you get. $ 4 beer and wine. $ 2 soda. $ 1 water.

This is an extremely small theatre which only seats 70 people, but with that said every seat is good. However, because the theater is small you must wait outside for your show to start. When it is a cold night waiting outside is not that enjoyable. The show started at seven and that is when the doors opened for us to sit down. The concession stands had little to no effort in the selection of items sold. The cookies were very small and bland, the next best thing to purchase was coffee or tea. The parking was free and there is plenty of street parking as well. This area seems like an upcoming cute little independent theatre district.
