Love, love, love this restaurant! One of my fav, go-tos in Silverlake. I’ve pretty much had everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Thank you for always being there for me with a delicious meal and lovely glass of vino, Blairs!

Wow. I was very impressed and stuffed after bellying up to the bar on Tuesday night to have a meal before we headed off to see Cirque du Soleil. The place is gorgeous, very sexy and the gal behind the bar was wonderful. The menu is a thick piece of leather holding a piece of paper which lists the delightful menu selections. We decided on the Bruschetta with truffled burrata. OMG– I’ll be dreaming of this for a long time. Also the arugula/fennel salad(who knew salad could taste this good?) and some brussels sprouts which put us over the edge. But wait, there’s more… we ordered the trout to split. I couldn’t finish it but wish I had more time and an extra stomach to do so. It was so flavorful and perfectly prepared. I will be back and plan a couple hours to sample as much as I can.

We moved to Silverlake in July and picked Blair’s as our first date night out. This has been a blessing and a curse since it was so delicious, personable and close to our place, we’ve had trouble checking out any other restaurants nearby. I love ordering several small plates as my main, so Blair’s hits the spot everytime. My absolute two favorite dishes: the brussels sprouts(with brown butter and carmalized onions //tastes like CANDY. Out of this world.) and the burrata plate with pomodoro sauce and pine nuts. That, and one of their choice rotating beers on tap or a bottle of red, and stick a fork in me… I’m done. Should also mention, the service has been a draw from our first meal here. Smaller restaurant, and I’m starting to recognize most of the servers and bartenders there. All great! Fast, attentive and personable. We’ve made reservations each time, but I’ve never seen anyone waiting for a table, so it seems walk-ins are easily fit in. Love that this place has become our local jaunt!

Food was decent. Service was terrible. We were a twelve top, food took over an hour to arrive. Some of our dishes came. We sat there awkwardly waiting for the rest of the food to come for over 20 minutes. No one seemed to care. Rookie mistake. We are thinking of ordering dessert but I don’t want to be here for another hour.

Very casual ambiance with multiple servers coming in and out, each of which willing to answer questions. The highlight of our food was the pan roasted trout. I would order again and again, which is significant since I rarely order a dish that I’ve tried before so that I can explore more of the menu. The grilled broccoli was delicious! The bruschetta was tasty with lovely multi colored tomatoes, but nothing remarkable.

My wife and I have lived in the area for many years and visited for dinner recently for the first time. Our waiter was not too interested in us being there. From a customer service standpoint, the basics were ignored. Nothing offered to us in the way of info, did not list off specials or recommendations, as the waiter next to us was to the couple next to us. A customer next to us spilled a whole glass of wine on us and we ended up interacting with the another waiter. He offered up free dessert and apologized for the lack of interest from the other waiter, that we mentioned to him. Ordered: Calamari as a starter. Puttanesca and ravioli as mains. Food was delicious and piping hot. We are reluctant to return but may try again based on the strength of the food.

Everything was excellent. amazing service, foot and atmosphere. Got the roasted cauliflowers, brussell sprouts, halibut, squash ravioli and spinach ravioli. Had a great Brooklyn vibe to it :)

Good food but it sucks that they went from no corkage fee to all of a sudden $ 20. I mean I get $ 5 or $ 10 but $ 20 is too much. Definitely a deal breaker and won’t be going back :(

Just happened by the restaurant last night. No name or lighting really. Couldn’t find on Unilocal.Found on google maps. Absolutely delicious! The ambience is low-key but nice. A little loud as we sat next to a party of 10. The bread and butter is yummy(amazing how many restaurants get that simple thing wrong). We had the fried calamari(the tarter sauce was too spicy, but calamari didn’t need it anyway), and the deviled eggs(which is way to trendy now but very good). I had the halibut which was a huge piece and really well seasoned with caponata. They had the trout, also well seasoned and crisp. I highly recommend. Only down side is it was a little pricey at $ 120. With tip and no drinks or dessert. But ingredients were super fresh and lovingly presented.

The corkage fee is now $ 20 per bottle. We used to go to Blairs because they had no corkage fee. Unfortunately those days are gone. Prices have gone up considerably. Sorry we won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Lured here by the cool, mysterious arrow blinking to the restaurant – tried it one day out of curiosity. LOVEITHERE. Fine dining at it’s best at a more relaxed atmosphere. Romantic if you need that. Aaron is the best! Super friendly and helpful! He remembers you instantly and makes your visit. I love their Orange Moscato the best(although they no long have it. boo) Try the crostini– it’s delicious.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner. He made reservations, but I don’t know if they were really necessary because it was fairly empty when we came in. Nevertheless, the host told us to sit anywhere we wanted and we chose a nice table by the window. We started with the Brussel Sprouts. These were so goddamn good. My boyfriend and I were blown away by how tasty these were and I was getting excited because if this is how delicious the vegetable side was, I couldn’t wait to try their entrée. I ordered the Squash Ravioli. It had the perfect texture, the perfect amount of delicious squash inside, and the Parmesan cream sauce was so absolutely delightful that I begged our server to take my plate away from me otherwise I would have licked the plate clean. She laughed and brought me out(tasty) bread for me to soak up the rest of the sauce, saying that she didn’t blame me. My boyfriend ordered the Spaghetti alla Bolognese. I took a bite and it was okay. I’m not a fan of Bolognese so I’m a bit biased, but he seemed to love it. We ended the meal with Tiramisu and our server placed a candle in it just for me. The tiramisu was the perfect dessert. Creamy and chocolate-y with that wonderful espresso flavor. I ate probably more than half of it, but oh well — it was my birthday. The portions are perfectly sized and though it may be on the pricier side, you can definitely taste the skill and effort that goes into these perfectly crafted dishes. I will absolutely be back.

Well, I’m sad to report this is no longer a «no-corkage fee» restaurant, it now has a hefty $ 20 fee. The waitress was kind enough to waive this fee since we were part of the old school comers that had no clue about this change. The Menu is now completely different than before, it is now an Italian restaurant. They kept their famous mac & cheese which was still pretty good, however the burger was a huge disappointment, this place imho had one of the best burgers in town. R.I.P to the chop salad, tuna tartar, good burger, no-corkage The atmosphere is still lovely, the staff is kind and attentive, however I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon, bummer :(

I cannot believe I am about to write a bad review for this restaurant. This used to be one of my very favorite restaurants many moons ago, but over the last year or so it seems as if Blair’s has taken a turn for the worse. Some of my favorite dishes have disappeared and those that do remain are only a faint reminder of what they used to be. I’ve given this place several extra chances, trying several different dishes in hopes that maybe I just had not been getting the«right thing.» It seems though unfortunately nothing is really the right thing anymore. The dishes are no longer special. And seriously what’s up with all the Italian dishes? I’ll go to an Italian restaurant for lasagna, thank you.(Where it isn’t as awful as this one tasted.) Also, food is now served in dishes that look like something my mom puts potpourri in. RIP Chopped Salad, Caesar salad with fried capers, old truffle Mac and cheese, and many more. You will never be forgotten.

The atmosphere is lovely and romantic. Bruschetta was perfect. I had spaghetti and it was quite good. The dessert. OMG, the dessert. If you are at Blair’s, the affogato is a MUST. It’s vanilla gelato with a side of delicious espresso. Quite possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had. The only reason I took off a star is because they now charge a $ 20 corkage fee. Boo.

Delicious new American restaurant. Good vibe for a date night with that posh LA feel that is perfect for a Saturday night. Interesting menu that includes everything from tuna tartar to spaghetti bolganese. Get the Brussel sprouts as a side! The fried artichokes with dill pickle sauce we’re by far my favorite! Crispy with that perfect acid to compliment the grease of the pan frying!

Not impressed. Service staff was not personable for an intimate restaurant – didn’t really strike up conversation or recommend dishes. The tiramisu was soupy(mascarpone was liquidy) and there was no anchovy or caper flavor in the roasted pepper appetizer. However, entrees were cooked to perfection. The pan roasted trout was crispy on the outside and flaky/juicy on the inside. The lasagne was creamy and meaty, but I wish the noodle wasn’t so mushy. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Blair’s to my friends and I wouldn’t return.

Went here on a Monday night for a coworker’s birthday dinner with a party of nine. The restaurant is dimly lit and intimate with huge windows and exposed brick. Super cute! I believe their menu changes periodically. The table had calamari, brussels, haricot vert and french fries. For entrees we ordered the chicken(with kale), trout(with quinoa), short ribs(with polenta), arugula & radicchio caesar, and spinach & beet salad. The portion size was impressive, everything looked AMAZING and tasted even better. You really cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. My only gripe is that when it came time to pay for the bill, we waited a very long time for our server to handwrite and hand-calculate our tab. Even so, I couldn’t knock off any stars. The food was too good. Our bill came out to about $ 60 a person. There is no corkage fee so I would definitely recommend bringing a bottle as their wine by the glass is pricey($ 10+). However, if you are willing to pay $ 15 for a glass of Pinot Noir, theirs is delicious. I will definitely be back. Also, I think they have a small parking lot behind the restaurant but it is a bit difficult to locate esp. at night.

After over Decade, Blairs deserves to given the honor of «Neighborhood Institution» I have dined here over its life-span, the menu has evolved — but the spirit remains intact. This is not the time for me to parse the details or nitpick the menu — this is a time to honor and celebrate this old friend… In the new era of communal tables and industrial design, the intimate candlelit dining room is all the more precious. This is a place to taste, fall in love, and deepen friendships. Its an anchor to Rowena — and a gift to those of us dine there. Thank you for a wonderful decade of dining!

Speechless is the word… wine list is adequate and straightforward and quite affordable. The portions are sufficient, to the point that we sort of forced ourselves to finish… It was that delicious. Easy parking, REAL attractive servers(OMG!!!), impeccable timing… Even though it became very busy while we were there. Looking forward to come back with my vegan son to try their vegan options. Outstanding! One thing… A little inconspicuos? We didn’t see a sign…
