I’ve had a string of doctors in LA who simply wouldn’t give me the time of day. I could tell I was one of God knows how many patients, and they were trying to get out the door to the others as soon as my appointment would be begin. It was nice to find the exact opposite: Dr. Larry Brandis, whose office is sort of a one-stop-shop for everything I needed. X-Rays, blood-work, you name it. While other doctors would send me all over town for each thing I needed, Dr. Brandis had it all. I don’t have a car, so this was perfect for me. His staff is friendly and I hardly had a wait time, even though I was really late and surely messed up their schedule for the day. It’s everything a doctor’s office should be… which seems to be rare in LA.

Dr Brandis was one of the friendliest doctors when I went to see him and the office people are always really nice and go out of their way to help. I’ve also seen Dr Harris who again is really nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this clinic and suggest you try it yourself. I have never been treated with anything but professionalism and kindness there which is why they now are my doctors.

If I could give less stars I would. I saw Dr. Brandis at Citizens Medical Group. I just moved to Hollywood from Florida and had to change my insurance. At first meeting he seemed quite aloof but I didn’t think much of it… when my insurance requested pre-authorization it was so hard to get ahold of him… even the pharmacy had a hard time… when they finally sent the paperwork they sent the wrong ones… when I talked to the doctor he yelled at me because of how much paperwork I was causing for him. He told me I was giving him a weird vibe and that he didn’t know if he could work with me as a patient because I had too many problems… I’ve never been treated so oddly and rudely in my entire life. Btw, he works Fridays and Tuesdays and he has a «rule» about not letting anyone come into the checkup room with you and him.

This guy was pretty horrible. He did not seem to care much, and had a horrible bedside manner. I almost felt like I was bothering him by asking questions. Then, he said he would call me back with test results, but never did. I had to hound him to finally get a call back. I went to see him at Citizens Medical Group. Icck! What a depressing place! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. no wait, I take that back. I definitely would want to torture my worst enemy with this horrid doctor and this horrid medical office. The staff was rude and couldn’t be bothered to give me any answers at the front desk. I waited for over 30 minutes in the waiting room, even though the place was nearly empty. All in all, this was a terrible experience, and I never returned after that first visit.
