C.B.A. Christian BasketBall Association

The CBA is a league filled with empty and broken promises. It is led by a con artist who is only worried about himself and how he looks. He likes to tell you one thing and go in the complete opposite direction. To show you an example of what a joke he is, the only two other reviews are from him and one of his coaches. Whenever something goes good he takes full credit, but when they lose, which is quite often, he blames it all on the kids and puts them down.
I was one of his biggest supporters until I saw through all the lies and saw what a joke he really is.
He promised new equipment with the money we raised and got nothing. He promised we would have a gym to practice in and our kids are stuck at a park only being able to utilize a half court. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you get the idea.
I suggest that if you are looking for a youth basketball team for your child that you stay far far away from the CBA and Steven Webb.

The founder of the league Steven Webb is a professional con man. He does it for a living (Google his name) and now he’s working parents that want their kids to succeed in basketball. Instead of showing them good sportsmanship he shows them its not ok to lose; its his name and brand the kids are representing. In other words no matter what he has to look good. Doesn’t really sound like its about the kids as he forever claims. Not only does he play favoritism, but when the team loses he calls out the kids for making errors. Doesn’t really help their confidence. Also, he let our 8 – 9 year old kids play not only against 4^th graders but also 5^th graders. As any other parent I hated seeing my son pushed around thought the game by kids much bigger. This is where I am to blame, but I entrusted Steven with my son. Now I see him and this league for what it is; and I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner. Now after my son only playing a whole 5 minutes this season he is refusing to refund our money. The Christian values he preaches aren’t the ones he follows. I would definitely stay far far away from this man and this league.
I had no choice but to give it one star!

Great league. Wonderful coaching staff. The fact they focus on other aspects besides basketball is phenomenal. Education, behavior, community, etc. They preach family, they practice what they preach. These special group of kids have connected a common bond with one another. The parents as well have also helped this league to what it is today. I’ve been around many other leagues. The politics, lies, favoritism, and immaturity they conduct, had me desperately searching for new beginnings. «Good things come to those who wait» and 7 long years later, The CBA fell right into my lap.
