Very unprofessional. Wouldn’t accept the insurance plan that she is a member of. Wasn’t willing to verify coverage even after I submitted an insurance form with all of the information the insurance program provider said was necessary to book. Refused to follow the procedure laid out by the insurance company to book the first appointment. This all despite the fact that her website says she accepts this insurance and she’s on a list of «in network providers.» On the phone said she needed to make more money to keep the lights on. Ok, that’s fair. But if you don’t want to be a PPO within the plan that you signed up for as a provider, cancel that agreement. If you don’t want to follow the insurance provider’s procedure for getting the insurance benefits, then remove yourself as a provider. After giving her all the information that the Aetna program representative said was required to book an appointment, she didn’t answer my email or call. After losing an entire week to her stonewalling/talk to the hand non-answer, when I brought it to her attention that I’d lost a week waiting on her to follow the procedures laid out by the insurance company that she is contracted with, she still refused to recognize the Aetna booking procedures.
