Avoid this place if you don’t want to waste your money. They are by my work a lot and for some reason I kept giving them a second, and third, and fourth chance because of the low price point but I’m officially done. Their bacon is consistently under cooked, rubbery, and limp and gross and the avocado is never ripe and about as hard as an Apple. Stay away!!!

Nothing to Cheer about. Everything was super salty. Even the burger itself, not sure if they put some type of cajun seasoning or seasoned salt on the actual burger or what… but they put way too much of it. The fries were decent, they were slightly too salty too. I mgiht try again, but hoping everything wont be so salty. The guys running the truck were super friendly though.

Slow, dry, overpriced, standard burger had some sort of Cajun seasoning on it, got my very simple order wrong. In short, not much to cheer about.

Tried this truck today after class as it was parked right out front of the bundy campus building in Santa Monica. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and an order of medium Cajun fries. The burger was 6 dollars and the fries were 4 dollars. The food was pretty good. I loved the Cajun fries. Pretty tasty and not too salty. They also give you a decent amount of fries. I would eat it again if one of my favorite trucks /food places weren’t an option.

Tried out Cheer Burger during Animé Expo. It was only around noon and the line for cheer burger wasn’t too long, so I took a look at their menu. I ordered«The Works Burger»($ 8) which has lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, 1000 island dressing, bacon, fresh avocado, grilled onion, home made angus beef patty, american cheeze, topped off with a toasted bun. I really liked this burger! Fresh veg, thick beef patty, yummy sauces dripping out… The avocado coupled well with the crispy bacon… delicious! I recommend it!

No worth the wait. ordered one churro and waited at the pick up line for at least 40 minutes as multiple people got churros before me. people who ordered 10 minutes after me got full meals before I got the single churro I ordered. not worth the wait at all. waste of time and money all for a single churro. update: waited for another 10 minutes and almost missed fireworks show that was going on. finally got a refund and just left. not the best service.

This was the only food truck available to us at the voice and it was the worst hamburger I have ever had. I never thought someone couldid actually make a hamburger that did not taste good to me but I paid $ 8 for this hamburger and threw it away. I’m not saying I’m a chef but I think a little seasoning might make your hamburgers taste a whole lot better.

Saw them at the Tall Ships Festival. $ 9 for a teriyaki pineapple burger that I actually took back asking where the teriyaki and pineapple were! Garlic fries are just fries with a ton of garlic salt on them $ 6 for a large. Far from gourmet. Look for other food trucks.

Asian chicken wrap. $ 10 for a wet sloppy wrap with cheap chicken and overly sweet sugary peanut dressing. They were parked at the SMC bundy campus, effectively the only thing around to eat and it was a huge fail.

We were starving and this was the food truck of choice at the La Brea Tar Pits a few months back. Nothing special, but I was full in the end!

Probably the best garlic fries ever. Gee that was a long time ago– I just logged onto Unilocal and it said I have an unfinished review. I was on Jury Duty at a courthouse I did not know existed in South Downtown LA. The only place to eat was the cafeteria(blah) and a Subway two blocks away. And there was a truck parked across the street by the Merch Mart, a different one each day. So I ate a burger and Garlic Fries, the burger I can’t remember but the garlic fries rocked. This was a year ago and I can still remember how good they taste. Remember, Garlic Fries makers, garlic + salt makes great garlic fries.

I grabbed food from this truck since it was one of my only options while waiting to see a taping of The Voice at Universal Studios. They had two food trucks available for us and this one seemed like the better option. I ordered their BLT wrap with fries($ 1 off their $ 3 fries if you pick this combo). It took a while to get the food but both trucks had really long lines so I can’t really blame them. The people working inside seemed pretty nice. The wrap was decent, didn’t really care for the bacon but the sauce was pretty good. Couldn’t taste the avocado though :/And they give a decent amount of fries – they’re nothing special, but they’re not bad. Ketchup is self-serve along with containers and napkins. I’m a little surprised at all the negative reviews for this place, but maybe I thought it was fine because I had low expectations going in. Plus I was just grateful that we had food options to begin with!

@cheerburger I have to think that the owners of these trucks must read these reviews. This truck has definitely earned some less than stellar reviews. I don’t get it. I tried their garden burger, yes I said garden burger. I figure if they can make a good veggie burger the rest should follow nicely. This was a great garden burger. You could taste the Asian influence at work here. There is a slightly sweet taste to this burger that compliments the garden patty nicely. The flavors were multilayered and very pleasing to my palette. I should say here that you have to like garden burgers to like this because they do have a different texture. I do agree that they are a little pricey but I never let that stop me. That’s the reason I didn’t go above 4 stars. The actual rating for me is 3.5 but I rounded up to 4. But that’s good enough to get them… Stalker Approved!

This food truck always stops by Cardinal Gardens in the USC area, so I thought I would get myself into a gourmet burger. Little did I know… I ordered a cheeseburger and their garlic fries. I know the pictures depicting the meal are almost always better than the actuality but this discrepancy was too far. The cheeseburger was horribly small, was over cooked, and had no flavor. It tasted like a frozen paddy that had been sitting in a freezer for far too long. The garlic fries were depicted to be cooked and topped with actual garlic. Instead I got over-salted and over-seasoned with garlic powder fries. Even without the bad seasoning skills the fries tasted of poor quality. The servers were so-so, the food took way too long to be prepared, and the food truck was way too pricey. Especially for the trash they were serving. Don’t do it!

The price looked bad. 7 bux for a Chicken«burger.» And no fries? WTF? What happened to the ideal of a food truck being inexpensive. Their not paying an expensive lease on a building. Oh, I forgot, this is the new age of food trucks no longer being roach coaches. But gourmet, because you painted it and gave it a funny or double entendre name. But I digress. I cautiously chose the chicken sandwich, oops«burger» because I am trying to eat healthier on the weekday so that I can eat some good sh*t on the weekend. I then ask about wheat bread, which they don’t have, but that’s okay. So after approximately eight minutes, I get my «burger.» At first sight I must say that it looked great. The bun was a little big for my taste, but definitely not a deal breaker. After looking inside the bun, it looked to me like a chicken sandwich. Okay sure, still not a big deal, because all the fresh and nice looking salad on top of the patty. However, after taking one bite, it was like having air for lunch. There was minimal flavor. The chicken definitely was of the frozen pre-formed patty variety. And maybe least importantly, it was a damn sandwich, not a burger. I ate it all, but it was definitely ho-hum. I fell asleep eating it only to wake up moments later and asking myself, ‘what was I doing?‘ It really wasn’t that bad taste wise, more of a poor value. I wouldn’t pay over 3 bux for it. If the lettuce, tomato, cheese and pickles weren’t so fresh, it would have been much worse. It screamed processed. There is 0 cooking going on in this truck.

Ehhh. I didn’t try a burger. I had the Asian chicken wrap. I asked the guy if it was healthy. «Yes, very very healthy» says the Asian man in the burger truck. But they don’t have spinach wraps to make it more healthy. It had chicken, lettuce, tomato, corn, and hummus(yes, strange but fine) and a side of Asian Sesame dressing. The wrap was very thick. Not too much taste came from it. It’s okay, but def not worth $ 8.

MMMmmmm big burgers for a starving gal I was in line for the Chelsea Lately show and was sooooo hungry. I was thankful this trunk was right there for my starving belly. I got the veggie burger. It consisted of the veggie patty, avocado, mushrooms, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and delicious dressing. It also came with a side of garlic fries. The burger itself was really good. It was flavorful and yummy. However, the garlic fries was did not taste like garlic fries whatsoever. It just tasted like regular fries. Boooo. I am surprised of the really low reviews. I thought my burger was pretty awesome… maybe because I’m genius and got a veggie patty =). I kid… The fries did suck. We also had to wait FOREVER for our food. Probably like 30 minutes. Oh yea, and the avocado in the burger was not ripen yet, so some parts of it was still hard… not good. Overall, its not the best but not bad. I recommend that if you are waiting for one of the shows in line, ask them to cut it up in halves or fours so that you can easily eat it.

Burger #222: Barely a Burger To the untrained eye this might look okay at best; But in reality, it may have been the worst use of $ 8 ever. Pre-formed frozen patties barely reheated, American cheese, which I love, wasn’t even fully melted on the patties, and the tiniest curl of bacon hidden on top of it all. It really was a chore to eat and spoiled my morning. Thank goodness I have a can of bear meat at the office to wash this taste out of my mouth.
