Our office loves Chicken Day for its consistent unlit you, value and fast delivery. The regular and soy sauce chicken are our favorites. Not greasy or salty but still flavorful. $ 4 salad is large and has bell peppers and mango pieces. We usually order 2 whole chickens(cut up) and 1 salad for 4 ppl to share.

It was my first time here and I thought this place was pretty good(despite some of the bad reviews on Unilocal). The chicken is not oily or greasy at all. It had a very clean taste. We ordered the whole, flavored() chicken. I’ll say it was a bit of a small portion for three people, but it was really good so I guess that makes up for it. We will probably just have to order more next time.

Chicken day is the absolute best place in the world for ramen and chicken. The price is so right and the flavor is even better. I swear my friend and I can’t stop coming here. the food is great and the service is even better. If you love amazing food please come here and eat, you will not regret it. I can’t stop myself, to me everyday is CHICKENDAY!’

Not sure why they charge $ 4(12 pieces) more than the one in K-town. I don’t think their overhead cost is more than the one in K-town…Greed? That seems to be the trend with most Korean restaurants in La Crescenta. More expensive with less quality in food and the service.

Love this place. Their wings are so delicious. After I discovered chicken day, i do not eat or order from any other chicken place. Owner is hilarious too. Weird. But funny.

This is not the first time we ordered chicken from this place! We called saying there is blood on the chicken and not cooked all the way. The person who answer the phone was like doesn’t ALLCHICKENHAVEBLOOD! He didn’t even once apologize. I understand mistakes happens but when you trying to make stupid comments like that I couldn’t tolerate. He even asked us to bring back the chicken with the box! We told him we aren’t going back that he needs to delivery to us and gladly take this uncooked chicken back! He Was so disrespectful! If I could give a no stars I will! Never going back to this place!

This place simply sucks, not worth of the price you pay, and you will get very small wings thats are mostly bones. So bad… Plus, they’re really rude to the customers. They should take customer service 101 class first before they do anything. I definitely do not recommend this place to any one for the sake of the Unilocal community.

When it comes to original Korean style chicken, no need to look any further. Coming from a true chicken loving animal like myself, I couldn’t be more happy with the taste and quality of the food here. Location is convenient with plentiful parking and to top it off, the service was nothing shy of great. Highly recommended for all chicken lovers!

Ok — businesses should NOT just give you high quality product only when you complain… Second time in a row now since my complaint the size of the drumstick shrunk big time. Such a big difference in quality control. Updating my review because for the last 8 –9 times i ordered from them the only time they gave us high quality chicken was immediately after my complaint…

Lots of options! Both flavor-wise and parts-wise. In addition to the original fried chicken, there are also various marinated options ranging from sweet to spicy ones. You can also choose between a whole chicken, half, wings, drumsticks, boneless. The original fried chicken was really well done. Perfectly crispy and perfectly seasoned. So good. We also had a spicy pepper marinated one which was good but definitely can get overly sweet and salty after a few bites. They deliver! Free parking in the underground lot.

Went to chicken day on my way home from college. Stopped by and their sweet and spicy chicken looked really tasty. Even though pictures can sometimes be deceiving, thought i would give it a try. There were two seemingly teenagers at the cashier. As they were going to charge my card, their machine got stuck and they told me it would be okay after 5 minutes and asked me to take a sit which i did. After 5 minutes, machine does not work and they keep me WAITING while food is READY. They point me to an ATM which charges almost $ 3 since their machine was not working, i was like hell, why not? i dont mind. they were prolly having a tough day. i was a waiter once. went and ATM got stuck. Later, they keep trying and tell me to go to somewhere a few blocks down and come back with CASH. Really? not the service to provide with so many competitors in an urban city. left without the food and with an empty stomach and empty handed. Never coming to a place with such mediocre service.

Oh my god. The server at 10:30 pm on sunday is so mean. I asked for more radish and he said he will give it to me when we finish eating this one. And I asked for water as well but he went back to the POS to TEXT on his PHONE and totally forgot about our water. And we were the ONLY customers in the shop!!! Also when I asked why we didn’t get our water, he retorted, quite rudely, «oh did you ASK for water?» THERUDEST server I have EVER met in my 20 years of life. Do NOT be attended by the server at 10:30PMONSUNDAY, the one with the glasses. Update: Chicken was edible at least. But wayy too small of a portion for a price of two people. Kokio chicken a few feet up western is much better. Will not be returning, EVER.

Pretty good Korean style fried chicken and not that expensive either. I’ve come here a couple times when I really wanted fried chicken. Most recently came here to order take out on a Saturday evening cuz I was craving chicken and beer(chi-maek) and the place was absolutely empty. I think most people tend to place phone orders because the phone was ringing endlessly and the place does deliver. I got an order of 20 of the regular fried wings and 20 of the sweet and spicy sauce chicken. Both met my expectations in terms of flavor(the regular fried chicken was actually very good and savory) but the chicken wings were pretty small. It barely satisfied 4 people. If you’re hungry, it might be better to order the whole chickens instead of just the wings. The pickled radish was also not as tangy and flavorful as I would have liked. They were on the borderline of being just radish. If you’re looking for seasoned wings, this is not a bad place to go. If you just want fried chicken wings, there’s a place inside HK super down the street(back of the grocery store) that makes some terrific fried wings that I would say are much much better.

We love Korean chicken. Our favorite Korean chicken spot just happened to be closed on the day that we came to Ktown to eat. We were devastated but remembered that there was another chicken joint nearby that my little sister had mentioned before. So we figured why not, we were already in the area. Let’s try something new! Chicken Day was completely empty when we got there and honestly if we weren’t starving we would have just left but like I said… we were really, really hungry. We ordered our usual: half and half(regular/spicy). Despite being the only customers there, the service was very slow. I think it was because most people ordered to-go. They had a bunch of chicken sitting on tables ready to go and people came to grab their food. When our food finally did come out, we were disappointed by the portion size. Much smaller than other chicken places we’ve been to. Upon eating a few, I was also sad to find out that some of the chicken pieces were just dry. Not good. Even more perplexing was that despite being fried, the chicken wasn’t all too crispy. Strange. I preferred the spicy chicken over their original chicken because the spicy chicken did have some good flavor. Overall, the price isn’t bad. It’s actually on the cheaper side but the fried chicken just isn’t too good here. There are just too many other good chicken places in Ktown for me to justify ever coming back. 2⁄5

They had really bad customer service both times that I had eaten there, which doesn’t complement the mediocre tasting chicken. Not to mention that the food takes extremely long to come out. It took over 30 minutes for one order of fried chicken and my friend and I were literally the only customers in the entire restaurant. They do delivery orders too but that also takes a long time to get to you. Overall, I’d much rather eat at OB Bear or Prince to get my Korean Fried Chicken fix.

I love me some fried chicken. I prefer KFC(Korean Fried Chicken), which is usually fried twice to give it extra crispiness and flavored anyway you want it on the outside. But really, I’ll even enjoy the original KFC. In other words, it’s hard to mess up fried chicken as far as I’m concerned. This place was just o-k for me. We had ½ regular fried chicken, and ½ spicy and sweet fried chicken. We also had two rice burgers, tuna and spam. The good: We did take out, and it took about 10 – 15 minutes, exactly what they said would take. Rice burgers were better than expected, it’s kinda like a big Japanese onigiri with flavored rice made into two patties and whatever item you choose in between the two rice patties. I liked spam better than tuna, but both were pretty good. The bad: I didn’t find the fried chicken very crispy or juicy. It was just meh for me, even the flavored chicken didn’t taste as flavorful as other K(orean)FC places. Yes, it was loaded with spice, but it didn’t hit the right flavor balance for me. Even the pickled radish that I love wasn’t very sweet or tart like I like it to be. Overall, I’d come back if someone wanted to come here, but I don’t think I would otherwise. There are just too many yummy KFC places in Ktown.
