Children Around the World Family Day Care

I always go with my friend to pick up her son. And I just want to say that I honestly recommend this day care and her son is always clean and dry and happy. So mothers out there this is a beautiful person and loves kids. And she is genuine person

Shiyama, or as the kids call her, «Shama» at Children Around the World Family Daycare, was a breath of fresh air from the other daycares we had visited. Unfortunately, my wife’s sister who was watching our 4-​month year old son, ended up in the hospital, so we needed child-​care fast. We checked out a few different places, but did not feel comfortable with how many kids one or two people were watching or the temperament of the child care givers (and some of these places came highly recommended).
Shiyama was the last person we visited.
When we showed up, it was so nice to see that she didn’t have an overwhelming number of kids.
We interviewed her (we are first time parents and our son had acid reflux and cholic, so we had a lot of questions). She answered all of our questions with patience and we really felt at peace about choosing her to take care of our son. My wife called every day for the first two weeks to check up on him and we even visited at our lunch-​hour several times.
Shiyama would also call us if our son was having a particular difficult (fussy) day, which I am so glad she did, even though there was nothing wrong with his health (better to be safe than sorry).
Also, our son never got sick under her care (thank God!). In total, she watched our son for approximately 7 – 8 weeks (all day) with occasional help from her daughter, before my wife’s sister recovered from her surgery and was ready to take care of our son once again.
I would highly recommend Shiyama and her daycare because she is calm, patient, was sensitive to our child’s needs and the needs of the other children (I miss seeing the other kids in our coming and going), she has more space than most other daycares we visited (yet not as many kids), and she has a nice (big) backyard for the kids to go out and play in the afternoon.
