Ordered here from GrubHub. Sushis tasted okay but was too big and poorly made. Good sushi size is something that would fit in your mouth. Lol. Their egg flour soup was really good though and the beef brocolli. Will probably order again when we crave for Chinese food.

Ordered delivery, they came fast, being that it was around lunch hour! (35mins)
Sweet and pungent shrimp (I chose hot) — wasn’t too hot next time I get it spicier. It was DELICIOUS! It was even a big portion! Also came with side salad and egg roll. Big portion of steamed rice too.
Combination Noodles — BIG potion for lunch. It was also good but not the best I’ve tried. It had shrimp, chicken and beef. Also came with side salad and egg roll and big portion of steamed rice.
This is my second time ordering from here. First time I ordered from the DINNER special. Delivery was very long about an hour. Dinner specials came with a big portion of egg noodle soup, egg roll and salad. I added a tempura shrimp roll (pretty good) for only $ 4.
I wouldn’t recommend ordering the orange chicken it was over cooked and hard to chew. Also the house shrimp in sauce was very average.

The sushi arrived frozen… frozen sushi! Everything seemed like it came out of the freezer directly to my door without being prepared. The philadephia roll and kung pao tofu did not taste at all good. Not ordering from this place again.

I’m giving it 3 stars because the delivered my food fast and the guy who delivered it was extremely nice when I realized I didn’t have enough singles to tip him. But I ended up getting food poisoning from the sushi. I’m not sure it it was the spicy tuna or the California tempura. But now I cannot eat anything because it won’t stay down. My sister also has been puking too after she had some of my sushi. Not sure if they had a bad day but now I’m having a bad few days with an upset stomach

Food was just decent– I ordered the rainbow roll, Philadelphia roll and edamame. The rainbow roll was decent but nothing great. The amount of cream cheese in the Philadelphia roll was ridiculous. I have to say I usually love cream cheese but the lack of salmon and avocado as compared to the cream cheese was unfortunate. I had to take out the cream cheese in order to eat it. Edamame was OK but nothing special and the fortune cookies tasted like cardboard.
Deliver was terrible– I would have given it three stars if delivery had not taken 2 full hours. I ordered through Eat 24 and it said it would take an hour, but after about 20 minutes it updated saying it was going to take an hour and a half. Two hours later somebody showed up. The guy was nice but when I asked why it took so long he mentioned how busy it was. It was a random Tuesday night not even around dinner time when I ordered. Clearly they’re always busy! I’m sorry but free delivery is not worth it.

I usually never write reviews but this place was horrible on service. I order for delivery at 8pm and my food never arrived called the restaurant at 9:45 letting them know I have not received my order. The person that answered the phone was polite but tells me he does not know what happened to my order and I would have to wait another 45 minutes and my only other option was to cancel it. So looks like I won’t be eating tonight.

Orange chicken was okay but from the Panda Express but from here is not good.
Also the appearance of the orange chicken is constantly changing.
Black pepper chicken was okay but not that okay.
I also like the curry chicken, not the best but delicious.

Fantastic food! We called for delivery and it was wonderfully fast, sooner than they originally promised. The food was hot, package really well, and absolutely delicious. My husband and I both got dinner specials and there was just too much food. I got dinner and lunch for tomorrow. My husband got two meals as well. What a wonderful restaurant! We will definitely be ordering again.

Very good Chinese food. So I have been burned by Chinese food in the past so was a little skeptical. I went ahead and ordered online on seamless — I got the honey walnut shrimp, seafood lo mien, cali roll and a few other goodies. It was sooo tasty! I am sure it was probably chock full of msg but so so worth it. Delivery was a good time (45 minutes), the food was nice and warm and great price. Can’t go wrong — will definitely recommend.

Well I placed another order today through grubhub. I’m bothered because I gave special instructions and they couldn’t follow them. What part of NO Veggies can’t you read??? Don’t waste your $ 15 on the shrimp and scallops. It’s not worth it. It’s bland and you can taste the freezer burn on them. Now I have to order a damn pizza.
Well I placed an order since they reopened and was dissapointed. I got the chef special crispy fish and the portion size changed drastically and the order took an additional 25 minutes to receive it. Come on China Star you are supposed to be trying to keep customers not lose them.

I am so disappointed. I ordered the Philadelphia roll which ended up being a GIANT brick of cream cheese with a tiny piece of fish and a speck of avocado. I really don’t want to each a giant glob of cream cheese wrapped up in rice, thanks. Disgusting!
I also ordered the orange chicken which was dry, overcooked and tasteless. I was starving and could barely eat any of this food. Definitely just wasted $ 20. And delivery took forever.
No thank you. Never will order from here again.

I recently moved in the area and was looking for a new Chinese spot. Glad I bump into this gem. I went in around 8:30pm and placed my order to go. the older man even offered me water while I waited for my order. Clearly they are busy hence I seen all the delivery orders. So if your starving a 5 min drive could save you a 30 min delivery wait. I only waited about 15min. and I loved how it’s made fresh not those Buffet Style Fast Food.
I ordered the Kung Pao Dinner Special and added the Spicy Tuna Roll. it was DELICIOUS!
The Dinner Special comes with a full size Soup, 1 Egg Roll, 1pc Shrimp Tempura and Fried Rice. The servings are good size.
The Spicy Sushi was YUMMY as well.
DEFINITELY will be becoming one of their regulars!

*** Heads up, 8 – 9:30 is the peak busy hours of delivery, so try to order before I recommend ordering earlier if you don’t want your food to take long !! ALSO remember to tip the driver, they will remember you for anything so make a good impression to get better service. Plus tip is all they make for a living, so be wiser next time you decide to tip ***

Was told my food would be delivered in 1hr been waiting over 1hr n 30 mins for my food i only ordered soup noodles and egg rolls this place is 3.1 miles from my apartment I don’t know what could possibly be taking so long. I called grub hub they said they’d call the place n txt me saying it would be another 10 mins… 1hr n 40 min wait is ridiculous if I would’ve know it would take this long I would’ve ordered from somewhere else… The 10mins have passed now… Where is my damn food!!!

The place is small and not fancy at all, but the food is good and the service was good too. They don’t have the combination special on Sundays and you have to order off the menu, so that’s good to know. The food is good, and my husband was a fan of the egg drop souo, so we’ll be back.

I ordered my food at 6:01PM. I was told I would have my food by 7:01PM. An hour wait is rediculous but whatever. It is not 7:37PM and I have no food. I called the China Star and the no speaking english b**ch would not look up my order without an address. Well I didn’t know it I was in a place that was not my home or a location that I memorized the postal information for. She said I have 11 orders 5 on the way maybe yours in there maybe not I dunno. WTF!!!
I told her I was going to dispute the charge on my credit card if she didn’t figure out whre my order was (I gave her my fullname and order number) and she said ok bye. LMAO
Im amused at the same time really annoyed because IM HUNGRY AND I DIDNT THINK I NEEDED A BACK UP PLAN.

The Ratone driver finally showed up. Foods cold of course.

Good service and my food was really good.
I ordered from Eat24 got the wings and a shrimp roll with salmon on top. despite the not so great ratings and was pleasantly surprised. Food good, order arrived in a timely manor and polite service.
