I went during spa week. Definitely won’t go again. Here’s what happened: 1. They screwed up my appt, which screwed my schedule for the day, didn’t even have time for lunch. 2. I scheduled the private trainer/massage combo, but bc they screwed up my appt I didn’t get my massage. They«comped» me for a massage, but didn’t give me anything in writing; just told me to come by any time for itm yeah right 3.I didn’t have lunch so was starving. I saw a plate of food. There were flies on and around the food. The workers ate it anyway. 4. While exercising you’d figure they offer you a towel or something. I had to ask for one(Am I asking for too much?) 5. They claimed that the credit card machine wasn’t working, so asked for my number! OMG this is a spa? Worst spa experience I’ve ever had. Needless to say, I never went back for that comped massage. They didn’t give me anything so they wouldn’t accept my request anyway.

At first I was very impressed by the location, staff and services offered at City Life… That changed quickly! I can only speak for their weight management program. It is completely unorganized and they really have no idea what they are doing. Over the years I have been to several weight management doctors, always struggling with my weight… Usually they discuss your diet and lifestyle, give you diet sheets on how to eat better and books to read to help count carbs/calories and give you different meds, vitamins, appetite suppressants etc. On my 1st visit the doctor was 30 min late and basically walked into the office carrying a box of pills and was not in a professional uniform. He asked me what I wanted and did not weight me in, check my blood pressure or ask any other questions… That was it! They also did not have the proper amount of meds so I had to come back a week later and pick them up. The second time I came back he was no longer there and I was told they had a new doctor… I saw him and although he was 100% professional and asked all the proper questions and went over the whole plan the office was again not able to give me the diet pills even though the owner said she would have them at the time of my visit… They said they were going to have to order them but that I still would have to pay for my visit. It has been 2 weeks since my appointment and can you believe they still have not received my meds! The owner is so rude and basically said this is out of her hands! OUTOFHERHANDS… How is that possible, it’s her business… She does not know how to make amends when she is wrong and just gets very defensive. Just awful customer service. So go there at your own risk! If you are ever not satisfied with anything they offer, good luck with any type on refund or good faith gesture on their behalf. And make sure you know what you are getting before you pay or receive any service.
