Ill just go with problems: –they put the wrong toppings on the gourmet veggie pizza and missing toppings. –salad was still wet and sitting in water that they didn’t drain properly, so it was really soggy due to the pool of water at the bottom of the container. –the friendly girl seemed to get impatient with us; she got annoyed when we asked questions. I suppose thats how you win over customers. –this really shouldn’t have taken 25 minutes to make this food when there were no other orders being prepared. –the garlic bread was overly buttered bread with some garlic powder and salt casually tossed on.

Went for the first time on 10/7, a Sunday, and I was 1 of 3 customers, the other two already enjoying lunch. I ordered a single cold sandwich and nothing to drink as the fountain was out of order. I waited about 10 minutes before looking back into the kitchen where I could clearly see three employees, and no sandwich. I politely got up and asked them for mustard on the side to remind them, and they said no problem. Another 5 minutes pass, and I look back to see nothing more than a cut piece of bread. I get up and say«if you haven’t even started my sandwich yet, please give me back my money» which they did after I declined to «just wait two more minutes.» I have no idea how this business is making money with three kids behind the counter that clearly have no idea how a small restaurant is able to exist in this economy — YOUCAN’T BLATANTLYIGNOREYOURONLYCUSTOMERWHILE A FOOTBALLGAMEISON. This is my first negative review, and I almost regret it… I LOVE going out to eat, and now on principle I can’t go here again. To those reading this, I recommend walking up the street to Coffee Table, or down to Dave’s to at least get some friendly prompt service for other types of food.

I decided to try this place out just to see what the competition from the other pizzerias was like. They claim to be all natural pizzas, so that sounded good. I like the fact that they have an online menu, and you can actually order online, which I did from my phone! These guys actually have vegetables, and not just the usual phoned in ones like most other joints(sorry, onions and peppers is just filler, and plain lazy!). They offer zucchini and eggplant, as well as sun dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, and the usual olives and mushrooms, and yes, onions and peppers. As I was making my selection I saw the price climb pretty high pretty fast(I just want a good veggie pizza thats not going to break the bank!), so I cut down the toppings and went with a classic black olive and mushroom pizza. Came out to be just over $ 20 for a large. I kind of feel like the vegetables should be less than the meat toppings… just my thought. So I got the pizza delivered, the delivery boy got the address right, which is great because even the post man cant do that! It was fresh out of the oven, traveled well, and was pretty good. Slices were cut kind of thin which is good because I didnt want to get pizza all over my mustache and beard, and thick slices can do that. I ordered the thick crust instead of the thin crust because those tend to be a little soggy once delivered. The thick crust is good, but a little too dry. I guess you could take care of that with a little dipping sauce. I for one strongly believe that BBQ sauce is probably one of the best sauces in the world, so there ya go!

Used a groupon so the cost was a steal. Ordered two turkey and avocado sandwiches, absolutely delicious. They come with HOMEMADE potato chips! Really good. The side salads were meh. The bowls they came in we’re cracked. Also ordered a small cheese thin crust pizza, very good for Los Angeles! I have another groupon so will go back and will continue to return even without the Groupon!

I had a rather pleasant evening here! I found out about them through GroupOn and never ventured this far on Colorado Blvd because I usually stop at Casa Bianca for pizza. Anyway, we arrived on a Saturday night and the place had a few tables occupied but wasn’t crazy busy. It sounded like they were putting more phone orders in though. We asked them what was REALLY good there, and the young lady at the counter suggested the BBQ Chicken Pizza. She was really pleasant, friendly, and helpful throughout the evening, so customer service is a major plus here. We ordered that, along with a Caesar salad and order of sweet potato fries. Everything was reasonably priced. The Caesar salad was pretty good, although the bowl that it was served in had cracked edges. The sweet potato fries didn’t taste fresh, but for the price, I can’t complain and it started to taste really good with the pizza. I kind of liked it a lot! The downside was the fries didn’t come with any type of dipping sauce; we resorted to packets of ketchup. The pizza was thin crust and flavorful. I really enjoyed it. It may not top CPK’s BBQ Chicken Pizza but it was good. There are also self-serve condiments available of jalapenos and pepperoncinis that were neither crunchy or spicy, so that was odd. Also, I read someone said the service was slow, but when I went, I thought it was pretty speedy and efficient! Overall, the place was nice, service was great, and food was good. A couple booths, including the one we sat in, had broken light bulbs so it was dim. I would recommend trying out Corner Pizza!

Used a Groupon to try this place and was very disappointed. Like the other comments, the service was very slow — and there were only two other tables with customers. They really don’t seem to have it together. Their counter girl was nice enough, but not very attentive. Took forever to get our salad and the pizza was very bland. We really wanted to like this place, but they need to tighten things up if they want to keep customers. We’ll give them another try, but only because we have another Groupon.

i rarely meet a pizza i don’t like but methinks not with corner pizza. i ordered pizza several times over the last month and gave this place a serious shot. quite frankly the pizza and service is really lousy. i called to complain about my 12 inch round pizza only being 6 inches round and was over cooked. the manager was some what understanding and said they were having problems with the dough that day and i could come back another time and get a complimentary pizza. i went in two days later and all of the workers gave me such a hard time! i was getting the third degree about it. one of the managers even said oh yea i remember and then walked away and left another guy to speak with me. i was shocked by the lack of professionalism and the way they treated me. i said my peace(*^%#*@#$%) and i left and will never go back. i love eagle rock but will rock it at another pizza place to support my neighborhood. casa bianca and brownstone are so much better!

I have been coming here since they opened about 2 years ago. Our family of 4 has different pizza preferences, so it is always a hassle to agree on what pizza to have. Casa Bianca is good, but the wait and attitude sucks. Brownstone also has a lousy attitude, long waits(why? just put the slice in the oven already!). Pizza Hut is, well, Pizza Hut. Corner has been okay, not the greatest pizza but decent and easy to pick up for takeout. Not the last time. My wife called in the order, they said 30 minutes. I show up 30 minutes later, and cool my heels for 25 more minutes. The clerk makes a half hearted«sorry about the wait» comment. I notice the bottom of the box doesn’t seem hot. Whatever, I get home less than 5 minutes later and take a slice. It is warm, not hot. The crust is way, way overdone and crunches like a cracker when we bite into it. The cheese is burnt on the top. It is almost inedible, but I am hungry and eat it anyway. Why did they make me wait, burn the crap out of the pizza and then give it to me lukewarm? It makes no sense, the kitchen must be very screwed up. Never again.
