The wait can be ridiculous at times, but the food is great. Try the chicken nachos!

The taco truck I ran into when I left The Varnish. I got 4 chicken tacos(soft palm sized tacos) for $ 6. Not bad. It was bomb!

Let me preface this by saying that I was a bit drunk when I ate here. That may or may not have had a factor in my experience here. Anyway, I found this taco truck parked outside of The Assoication lounge on East 6th Street on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. Considering that my friends and I had just spent the last few hours destroying our livers at The Association, this truck was a fantastic find. Whoever owns this trucks knows the area well: There was a huge line of customers, most of whom had just stumbled out of the bars and lounges in the area. After the wait, I ordered a carne asada burrito. Pricing wasn’t too bad: It was like $ 6 to $ 7 for a large burrito When I finally got it, at the time it was one of most delicious burrito I’ve ever had. Again maybe the alcohol was talking but my friends and I distinctly remember saying that the burritos and tacos here tasted delicious. Not to mention that the pricing synced up with the amount of food and quality you got. In other words, it was filling yet delicious and well priced. I want to come here when I’m sober and see if the alcohol really was a factor. But for now, I’m gonna share my fond drunken-hazed experience here as I believe they deserve a review.

Tacos were very good. However while we were eating, we witnessed the spoon for the green salsa fall on the ground. A passerby picked it up and put it back in the bowl. I think there was a cigarette butt stuck to it.
