Best Thai boat noodle I had, so far… the broth is very flavorful. Ordering their angel wings as a side is a must! Angel wings are made with love as they’re stuffed chicken wings.

Best Thai food spot ever! I love this place, my favorite late night afterhours food spot! Bbq pork anything is amazing and I never regret this decision in the morning as I would with a burger, dirty dog, tacos etc.

My family and I went to LA for a family trip and decided to give this place a shot being that my bro was super excited to try this place, particularly for the boat noodle. Despite the slow service, the employees here are super friendly and humble and all our dishes came out tasty. We started off with the thai papaya salad, which was made with fresh fermented crab versus the overly processed fermented crab paste. It was fresh and had the right amount of spice. I ordered the beef boat noodle and the broth was authentic and flavorful and not too thick in texture. My mom ordered the seafood noodle and it’s usually hard to please her taste buds, but this dish made the cut. She was satisfied. If mom’s happy, then I’m happy :)

They definitely do not shy away from flavor. Food is tasty and full of punch and kicks you want from Thai food. But with a hint of unreliable service, especially when it comes to deliveries, it makes you question whether it’s worth the risk or not. Try the food first, and then you decide. The service is good. 80% of the time.

I assume this place stays in business because it’s a cover for money laundering. There is no possible way it succeeds as an actual functioning restaurant. Going by the health code violations alone it tells you they don’t particularly care about running a restaurant. I went in and waited well over 30 minutes before someone finally, begrudgingly brought us a menu at which point they just tossed it to me like a frisbee. Another half an hour passes before they bring us water and I knew full well that I need to tell them we’re ready to order, or they would have left for another half hour or so. So we order our food and it comes within an hour which was a nice change of pace. They slammed the plate of grease and gristle down like they were at the county fair and trying to win a giant stuffed Stewie Griffin plushie. And by god, they would have made the bell ring, deafeningly, I guarantee you that. We ordered the titular Crispy Pork, having assumed the flag ship dish would be amongst the best dishes at the restaurant. Well as we examined the Cripsy Pork, we noticed something odd. Instead of pork, they seemed to have fried what looked to be pure gristle and or possibly just chunks of garbage they dug out of the sink. I’m not sure what went so horribly wrong, maybe they werent on there A game that evening, they sure as hell werent on their A Rating due to multiple health code violations. The Curry was ok, fairly bland, but it was passable. Crispy Pork wasn’t crispy and wasn’t pork I don’t think it was even meat from a mammal, you’d have to bring it to a lab to find out. The service was amongst the worst I’ve ever seen despite it being a mostly empty restaurant. If you’re planning on visiting Crispy Pork Gang I would recommend you simply go to your local rendering plant and pick up a few jugs of random meat garbage and drink it in the parking lot until you expire. Definitely a reasonable alternative to eating at this unparalleled shit hole.

WARNING: NEVERORDERFROMTHISPLACE. EVER. INLIFE. IF I COULDGIVETHISPLACE0 stars, I would. Here’s why… It took over 2 hours to get my food. I live half a mile away. The only reason I got my food was because I called the restaurant nonstop, well over 20 times until someone answered. The lady(who seemed not to care) said the driver was waiting outside(but he never called once). Very odd. Not only was my food cold but they got my order wrong. Wrong main dish and forgot my drink. On top of everything, I was charged TWICE. No refund. I now have to call the bank and stop the extra charge. What a nightmare. I will never be ordering from this place again.

Ordered through Unilocal for delivery. Waited an hour an a half until I gave them a call. They forgot to delivery my food. Worst customer service ever. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!

This place was surprisingly disappointing. Being surrounded by good tasting restaurants, I would suggest to defer away from this and pick another one. When we went here we ordered soft shell crab, bbq spare ribs, larb and spicy pork rice. The soft shell crab is a total rip off, I didn’t taste any crab at all, if anything, it was only breading, 70% veggies on the plate, 28% breading and 2% crab. The bbq spare ribs were actually good, a must try. The larb was average. Finally, the spicy pork rice was okay, the bits and pieces of pork were very fatty, that type of fried stuff from repeated use of oil. The Thai iced coffee was pretty standard, that’s what I got. My friend got the tasteless palm juice and the longan drink was pretty good. Overall, I would say we didn’t really enjoy the experience and most of all the food at this place. Friends prefer Thai patio, can’t blame them. The servers were nice, they whisper most of the time. CASHONLY.

food became pricey and the serving became tiny. Used to be a regular but not anymore. I’ll just go to Pa Ord or Hoyka or Sapp– these are better option for Thai food. Food has better taste, serving and price!

The only reason I ate the first time was because the owner saw me outside trying to figure out whether I would go to Thai Patio as usual or try something else. This badass literally grabbed my arm and pulled me into his store without even promising me nintendo or candy. Normally a kidnapping would not be the best way to convince me to try your establishment, but I have to admit I appreciate his hustle. And to be clear he was very nice not pushy just very confident I would love his food. And ya know what? I did! For the price and the options at Crispy Pork Gang it’s a really nice way to try some Thai food whether you are new to Thai food or a seasoned vet looking to venture away from the tried path of Pad Thai, chicken larb, and the standard Thai dishes. What I really enjoy about this place outside the flavors is the price and portions. Sometimes with large portions of any cuisine you are pretty much all in or all out for an entrée, so it’s like a 50⁄50 whether you will be happy with something new, or stick with your hum drum usual. That’s what I like about this place. For like under 4 bucks you can get a half order of various noodle soup dishes that are still quite substantial. If you are by yourself or with friends you can load up and try many different things without breaking the bank. Plus the food itself is pretty good. There is a lot of great Thai food in LA so while this was not the best, it still holds up fairly well, especially in that strip mall area with the couple of restaurants located in there. Also whenever he is there the owner is a very nice fella. I suggest the crispy fried fish with red curry sauce and trying their spicy duck noodle soup. Also their papaya salad is a spicy lover’s delight. But be forewarned the owner loves to challenge people who think they can eat spicy and will not hold back if you are daring enough to ask him to make it spicy!

Props for being open 24 hrs, having pretty decent prices, and serving extra crispy pork reminiscent of chicharones!!! They are cash only and have a huge menu with some pretty good specials running from 9am– 2am The menu although huge was kind of confusing and overwhelming but I finally managed to decide what I wanted to order. I ordered the Serrano and onion tofu over white rice. My bf ordered the gang fried rice which comes with BBQ pork, crispy pork, and duck over rice. Everything was good. I shall visit again in the late hours when hunger strikes in the wee hours and as I try more dishes, maybe more stars will come their way!

I’ve been ordering here regularly for the past year ever since I’ve been using the EAT24 app. I usually order late at night & I’ve rarely have any problems with the delivery times or the food. Except tonight. I thought I’d try something new so I ordered their Fried Shrimp & Fried rice. Order came in less than 30min which is surprisingly fast compared to other places but the food that arrived was wrong. The photo they show on their menu was crispy, golden brown, deep fried shrimp, and had what appears to be sweet & sour sauce on the side. What I received was different. It was obviously not battered and fried, just orange/pinkish, and no sauce. I told EAT24 customer support and got a whopping $ 3 off my order. No apology, and I basically got my tip back. Looks like I need to look for another Thai spot. Don’t want to risk them ruining my next order & barely doing anything to fix their mistake.

Horrible delivery experience. Took more than an hour to deliver when we live about 5 blocks away. Why are you so rude when we’re just trying to check on our order from an hour ago? We live 5 minutes away and only ordered 3 simple plates. Don’t get me wrong… the food is okay. Orange chicken tasted just like fresh green onions. Chicken Pad Thai was average. Spicy fried rice… its fried rice, so it’s always going to be better than white rice. Compared to the food, horrible customer service ever! Any Eat24 fanatics are absolutely right — don’t order even if you’re desperate. Much worse if you’re starving, drunk and can’t drive.

Crispy Pork Gang is located in a Thai Plaza where there are 3 other Thai eateries. The Thai Barbecue Chicken was okay. It comes with fried rice and an egg roll which I think are the best parts of this dish. The chicken was slightly on the dry side and I felt slightly queasy afterwards so I haven’t ordered this dish since coming back. Might be a storage and handling issue since I’m sure the chicken was cooked a few hours earlier. For that reason, I’m only ordering plates that are freshly cooked and not stored and then reheated.(3⁄5) I’ve also had the $ 5 Garlic Chicken plate which comes with a generous entrée of garlic chicken and white rice. The garlic chicken was very good and I really liked this plate a lot. I’d order it again when I return.(5⁄5) The Pad See Ew plate is also on the $ 5 menu special and is and nice sized plate and very tasty.(5⁄5) Today, I had the Curry Noodle Soup with beef. It was the first time to try this dish and I liked the flavor of the curry broth. I wish they could have given me more noodles though since noodles aren’t all that costly and this dish is around $ 9 so I’ll have to remember to ask them for more noodles next time. Otherwise, it is a delicious bowl and I’d probably order it again sometime.(4.5÷5) It’s cash only like most of the Thai eateries in the area but there is an ATM machine conveniently located in the restaurant if you’re low on cash and don’t have issues with the high fees that are charged to withdraw cash. They are open 24⁄7 for those late nights when you just want something to grub on and the wait staff is friendly and accommodating. I’d eat here again.

So… I’ve never had an issue with this restaurant. Granted I usually go across or next door depending on the dish(they all make certain ones better). Whenever I visit, I always get the crispy pork papaya salad(extra spicy) and it is always delicious. In fact by the time I get home(if I order it to go) the pork is still crspy. I’ve also tried the Beef Pad See Ew — good pan stirfried flavor. Beef Salad(extra spicy) — the meat is charbroiled/bbqd and not boiled like some places Yellow Chicken Curry(spicy) — not to sweet and delicious too. The gal taking my order isn’t always super friendly but she isnt rude either. All in all I really enjoy this resturant if I’m in the area. Also they have full size orders at budget($ 5each) and they are just as tasty and full sized. From 11 am to 10pm

This restaurant is one of many options in Thai Town. We chose this place because of the«noodles» sign advertised outside. My group and I each ordered Beef Boat Noodles with the Papaya Salad to share. I ordered my noodles medium spice level. We all agreed that the boat noodle bowl was delicious. It has so much flavor that we didn’t have to add any spices from the rack at the table. My cousin may have said that this was the best boat noodles she’s had. Yes, I just might agree for now. We grew up on Thai food so we’re no amateurs. We found street parking across the street at a meter. The parking lot for this location was valet parking only on a Saturday night. I’m not sure what the parking situation is like during the week. Waiter was okay. Filled our drinks without us having to ask. However, I thought she could have been more attentive.
