Divine Nourishment Organic Catering

I have been to several events catered by Divine Nourishment and the food is AMAZING! Yummy vegetarian food, healthy, organic, seasonal, and beautiful to look at. And served with love by the smiling, happy faces of Chef Haffner and his crew !

Went to the Joshua Tree Music Festival. I hadn’t been to an event like this in years, very alternative. I eat organic food and I was prepared to bring my own food on Saturday and Sunday, but on Friday, I noticed these guys and their tent. I took a gamble on the Saturday and couldn’t wait to do it again on Sunday. Everything was fresh and prepared on site. The food choices and quality were of the highest order. Service was good, too. I’m trying to think of excuses to hire these guys. Excellent.

Benji is the best chef in town, friendly and healthy and awesome to share a meal with. I tried his food at a few festivals and fell in love with his shiitake mushroom sauce over rice with veggies… add a little salmon and my life is nearly complete.
We asked Divine Nourishment to cater for us for a week this summer and they managed to make a very difficult task fun for the 200+ people in our village. I hear Benji’s thinking of starting a new restaurant in 2010 and I hope you all get a chance to try more of his cooking soon… homemade beet chips, curry, juices… this man knows what he’s doing with food. He keeps a clean kitchen and works well with kids for parties and special occasions; he’s also very sensitive to the needs of vegans, celiacs and other allergy-​sensitive patrons.
Divine Nourishment completely lives up to its name. If I could hire one chef to cook for me forever Benji would get the job in a heartbeat.

I tried this cuisine at a private party. There was a huge line and the one thing that kept all the hungry tummies in line happy was all the people who had already gotten food saying it was worth the wait. And it was.
I had the vegetarian option dish which consisted of rice, lentils, carrots, onions, kale, mushrooms and maybe another veggie or two that I’m missing. I gobbled down the sweet concoction so quickly as it was so fresh and so perfectly spiced! I loved it! I was fueled for hours and felt very light and healthy afterwards.
Can’t wait to see them around town again.

Benjamin goes beyond great taste to satisfy even the most picky palettes-​including mine. He’s the only one who can get me to eat my vegetables! But that’s not all, his food is totally organic, fresh, so flavorful and, well… divine!
