When you can’t drive anymore, you give up your license. Doctor performed an completely unnecessary prostate surgery when I came in about a benign kidney cyst! He never remembers why I am seeing him and he made 4 prescribing mistakes. He also told me my pain post procedure«is in your head, nothing is wrong». He kept telling to «go see a shrink, it’s not my surgery at fault.» He did not even listen to my problem. Nor could he remember why I kept calling him about an infection he insisted I did not have(I did have an infection, treated by my new Dr.) and he stopped taking my calls. I ended up in the E.R. Turns out I had a serious prostititis infection my new urologist found and he treated me correctly. Dr. Danoff may not be up to par to practice medicine and I filed a complaint with the State Medical Board. It’s been in investigation for several months. BEWARE, he is an impaired by age Doctor who’s nurses /techs take over medical procedures when Dr. Danoff is impaired, can’t see or becomes confused. This should never happen. EVER

I went to Dr. Danoff once — that was quite enough. He struck me as more interested in his celebrity status than any concerns I might have had. The fact that he immediately ordered a(very expensive and unpleasant) prostate biopsy based on a cursory five second digital exam that turned out to be unnecessary didn’t help matters. No doctor before or since has ever found anything suspect in a prostate exam, leading me to suspect that Dr. Danoff was more in it for the money than my health. He may be urologist to the stars, but I’d rather be seen by a urologist who cares about his patients.

There’s a good reason there aren’t any reviews of Dr. Danoff on Unilocal. If you’re a patient of his and an avid internet user, chances are this was not a routine visit for you and is probably not something you want to publicize to the world. Well, as a person who felt lost looking for a urologist in my time of duress when I was suffering from a kidney stone and could not find any solid recommendations, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Danoff publicly, openly, 100%. He is experienced and thorough, and also caring and understanding. Unlike many surgeons and specialists who might lose consideration for the person attached to the urinary tract(and I met a few), Dr. Danoff also made an effort to make sure I, Patrick, was ok. I would highly recommend that you see him if you are experiencing unpleasant urinary symptoms. He’s the man to solve your problems! No, it’s not a dream to go and see him. Yes, it sucks! But he’s doing noble work, and he really goes out of his way to make sure that it’s easy, simple, that he doesn’t waste your time, and that it’s all taken care of completely and fully. Plus Seneca in the surgery scheduling department is an absolute dream!
