El Pollo Loco

Don’t order the Lg Mac n Cheese. false bottom cups. El Pollo Rip Off. They put a small cup inside the large container. So when you get home you get to see that they got one over on you. Good PR now I hate you.

As a regular customer, I am disappointed with the staff there. I have gone many times where the same woman takes my order. Always has an attitude, and doesnt seem to want to be there. Today, a young girl couldn’t hear me when I was placing my order. I get to the window to finish my order, ask for a soup, and she tells me to go around all over again. I asked to speak to the manager, and she took my order. It was annoying and time consuming (for her) since she seemed to be more worried about getting her order out in a short amount of time, but ended u0 wasting more time telling me I couldn’t order at the window, then go find a manager, and finally giving me my order. Maybe if the quality of customer service was put on top of their priority list instead of their 30sec window time goal they would still have a customer. Disappointed!

There is no El Pollo Loco at this location. The correct address is 3070 San Fernando Rd Los Angeles CA 90 065 .

It all started when I was asked to wait a minute at the drive thru window. Literally about 10 minutes after sitting there I say «hello?» and there’s no answer. So I wait a few more minutes and then I say «hello?» one more time… finally someone answers. I tell her my order and she hollers back at me «HEEELLLOO!»…First sign of rudeness. Then as I approach the window (after waiting all this time), I get asked to drive forward and to reverse my vehicle (because they have a timer). That is not professional, considering I had already been in the drive thru with no other vehicles for about 15 minutes. To top it off the cook was dancing all out because he had his headphones on, while cooking AND then I witnessed the lady at the drive thru picking her nose (eeww). Once I got home I realized my food didn’t even have sour cream, when it clearly specified on the menu that it came WITH sour cream. Not to be a bitter soul, but this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I would rather drive an additional 30 miles than to go back to this Pollo Loco ever again.

First i was overcharged then we waited almost half an hr for our food. Other people ahead of me were getting upset and yelling at the workers. My bf and i just waited patiently bc we could see how busy they were. The staff was unorganized and arguing with each others, same orders were made twice while some werent made at all. By the time our food came i still hadnt been reimbursed and had to speak to the manager. We got home and realized they gave us a 2 pc meal instead od the 12 pc we ordered. I called them to let them know the mistake and the manager agreed to give us extra chicken for the inconvenience. And when we got there the manager told the worker cooking the chicken to give us 4 extra pcs and he kept asking y as if the extra pcs were coming out of his pocket. And then he proceeded to give us dirty looks as if we made the mistake. Poor service, unorganized and that particular worker was horrible.

So far 20 minutes waiting in the drive thru!!! This is ridiculous! How long does it take to make a salad. Never again will I come here.

When I was a young cub my family and I use to take eventful trips to El Pollo Loco in Highland Park, it was a big deal in my eyes, we actually were going out to eat at a sit down restaurant, I know, now I am like so what, just kidding.
But growing up El Pollo Loco was awesome and until this day I think the grilled chicken tastes just fine, but as we grow older our taste buds change and we either taste better or don’t know what better is.
This past Sunday on my way home my dad and I stopped to pick up some Pollo and of course the classic sides, beans and rice. Flour tortillas, we have plenty of corn at home.
Sat down at home with my pops enjoying a meal we once did back in Highland Park but the scene was different now but the chicken was just the same. Delicious and tender. Tortillas are decent.
What they do lack is not filling enough tomato salsa and green salsa (negative mild) in there little round to go cups.
Anyhow, I enjoyed my meal along with great company and yummy chicken to go with it, only this time it was my treat.
I only use the drive-​thru since its just easier and you can be home and relaxing.
In high school I would step in and eat here but that was moons ago and the area has changed, seating is much more limited, or families are just bigger, kidding!
Try some pollo on your way home sometime.
BTW — they always get my order correctly.

This used to be my favorite spot but lately this Pollo has really gone loco. Three times I have gone to this store and they didn’t have crunchy tacos, twice through drive thru and they didn’t tell me until we reached the window and we had to wait additional time while my mates meal was getting cold and the other time was the same deal but when we walked inside the store. They have also forgotten extra avocados and churro that I order but sometime I don’t complain because I go to often. Anyhow boo to the decaying service at this El Pollo Cray Cray

Healthy Fast Food
Fast food does not always mean junk and unhealthy. Here is one of my favorites, the Mango Grilled Tostada from @ElPolloLoco that is fresh, healthy and under 500 calories. Tastes great and fills you up for $ 5.99 and of course you can get a $ 1 off for taking a brief survey. Super faster on the drive thur. One of the things I like about this tostada is even when you eat it with a fork, you can wrap the whole wheat bread and make it into a burrito. The wet beans do not soak through the bread. I agree with other reviews. NEVER fails. They’ll ask if you want salsa and then they won’t put it in the bag!!! So yes check your order before you drive away. And like other el pollo locos tortilla soup is not always available wtf??? Pisses me off just as bad as them always forgetting my order!!! :-((

Check your order before you drive away. Seriously, I eat here all the time and without fail they forget something. It’s become a joke to my wife — will they screw it up this time? Yup, they’re incredibly incompetent at fulfilling orders. I just came from here and they forgot chips, a burrito and gave me the wrong flavor of ice tea, luckily I checked before driving away. I mean, chips and burritos are their game. My hope is corporate reads this and gets their act together, it’s not worth it when orders are so screwed up.

Stopped here with some co workers during our lunch break and I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was okay, had way too much cheese so I wiped some out. The salsa bar was full and clean and tables were clean. Staff was nice and friendly. I may come back but I may order something different.

This place deserves a flat out zero!!! The plate look like dog food!!! We payed for extra and didn’t receive it. We asked for extra sauce. Didn’t get it !!! I was so upset I literally gave it to my dog. I do not pay money to receive shit! Never going again. Do not waist your time!

Nice little EPL on a freakishly busy intersection. The restaurant was recently renovated and still has that new burrito smell. In general the place is nice and clean, the staff are really pleasant but the parking sucks.
