This was so amazing. The price was great. The taste was great. The tortilla was made fresh! What else can I say more? I went to the truck out of the blue and couldn’t of been more happier. The salsa was unbelievable. Bought 6 tacos and paid 7 bucks! Will visit again. Stole my heart without stealing my wallet.

This place is CLUTCH. I can’t even count the number of times I was starving and could rely on this truck to feed me! Tacos al pastor are fire. Tacos are only $ 1.25 each. It’s simple and to the point and pastor is cut off the rotisserie onto a tortilla and served straight up. Top it off with some onions and cilantro and pair it with the avocado/lime salsa which goes amazing good together. Love that they provide a little help-yourself side bar to grab lime, onions, salsa, etc. Another worthy item is the iconic California burrito. Comes with your choice of meat, cheese, tomatoes, crisp French fries, guacamole, lettuce and beans(usually ask for it without these last two ingredients). Tortilla is crisp and flaky and the burrito itself is a generous size. $ 7 does the trick. Steak fries are also a must. Crisp French fries piled high and stacked with your choice of meat, and cheese. I usually add guacamole. That’s basically it. Simple, to the point, monstrously delicious and sometimes the only silver bullet to satisfy your late night cravings. Huge portion and definitely shareable unless your coping with drunk munchies. Runs you about $ 7. Another go-to are the enchiladas which are served up with rice and beans. The red enchilada sauce is absolutely addicting. Your choice if meat served in a freshly made corn tortilla which compliments the sauce well. Topped with cheese of course and avocado slices and you’d be foolish not to pour on some of the avocado lime salsa. Runs you about $ 7. To wash it all down, grab a Mexican coke or orange fanta. 50 Cent charge on those cards fellas. And don’t be one of those hobo salsa bar a users who order one taco but packs up 500 cups of salsa, 30 bags of cilantro, half the bag of napkins and utensils, and 4 lbs of lime. Grab what you need and make room for the next. My only frill about this place is it’s unpredictable at times when it will be there but it is a taco truck after all.

I got hungry being at the Animé Expo and decided to venture out of the Los Angeles Convention Center. I came across El Tauro Tacos truck parked in a public parking lot almost to the Fashion District. Undecided on what to choose with a plethora of choices on their menu, I chose the Torta Cubana. It was excellent but it had too much meat for me. It had lettuce, tomato, avocado, chorizo, hotdog, fried egg, cheese, thin slice of ham and al pastor. It was approximately 10 inches across and 2 inches high, a monster of a sandwich. I can’t possibly finished one sitting. Definitely yummy for the tummy.
