Just got my engagement ring resized here — it took ten minutes, was only $ 6 and it fits just right. It looks perfect and shiny and I’m very happy I stopped here.

Efficient reasonable prices and personable service. Came in for a necklace fix and was very pleased with the quick result. Will come back.

Ten bucks to size my wedding ring and it was done in an hour – what’s not to like about that? Take note: the hours painted on the door say 9AM to 7PM, but it’s more like 10 to 6. I’ll definitely go back to Elmer for all my jewelry repair needs.

Elmer is the nicest guy around. This shop is a tiny jewelry shop on Figueroa close to Kitchen Mouse and that liquor store that has a neon sign that says «Coldest Beer in Town.» If you need your watch strap adjusted, this is the place! I’ve had my watch straps adjusted here and he only charges $ 3 per watch. One time I needed extra notches on the leather strap of my watch and he did not even charge me for it. Quality service for very reasonable prices.

I am hesitant to even let people know that this awesome little place exists in case I will actually have to wait in a line when I go there, but because the owner/​jewelry repair man is so nice and so fast and the prices are beyond reasonable, I want to share the love and let anyone know if they need any kind of necklace, ring, bracelet, watch, etc. repaired, they should visit this little shop right on Ave 59 and Fig in downtown Highland Park.
I’ve been there three time (I unfortunately break a lot of stuff inadvertently, especially necklaces), and the first time he repaired my necklace clasp he charged me $ 2 and did it in 5 minutes flat. The last visit, he shortened a too long silver chain and fixed another clasp and charged me $ 6 and it took 15 minutes. They also have various watch bands, earrings, rings, jewelry for sale. This place may not look like much, but believe me, they have the quickest, coolest and most affordable jeweler in town!
