Rey, who is an incredibly nice guy, takes the time to show you his work and how the seedlings he is nurturing in the ground are developing into trained bonsai. He is extremely passionate about his work, and his results are very impressive. Moreover, he offers consultation and advice that anyone will find useful.
Exotic Bonsai is a gem. Note that it’s a home-​based business, so be respectful and call ahead rather than just knocking on his door.

This place is fantastic. I got a magical forest here. A butterfly visited me as I perused the amazing bonsai selections raised with loving care by the owner. I came for a gift but knew I couldn’t let it go. So I kept it!
I wanted a plant but couldn’t stomach the idea of giving my money to a big home improvement store full of toxic chemicals. Buy local, buy small business!

Absolutely amazing experience! Ray is the best! I found this place randomly and I was so lucky to have found it! Ray has an amazing collection of bonsai and more importantly is passionate about bonsai! I could really tell how passionate he was about growing bonsai and how much love he puts into his plants! After coming here, seeing Rays collection, talking with him and seeing how much he cares for his plants I would never consider going anywhere else to purchase a bonsai. Great man and great place!

I was currently trying to buy a bonsai and I stumbled on to this place and I’m so happy I did. Reynaldo A.K.A Rey is the best. I told him how I was just starting off and he helped me choose the best one for the best affordable price. Not only did he help me out but he gave me tips on how to take care of my bonsai.
He showed me around and I was just amazed on how many bonsai trees he has. And he cares and nurtures each and everyone of them. He doesn’t mind helping you out whenever you need help. I just went back there for the second time because I had more questions and he was more than happy to answer them.
This is a home business which I feel is even better because this way I know he takes care of them the best he can. Reynoldo and his wife were so helpful and generous, willing to work with me as I was on a tight budget. I got an absolutely beautiful plant. Privately owned, run out of the owner’s house. Nice assortment of mainly 10+ yr old bonsai, also has a fair amount of nursury material. Gave me an awesome price on a 15yr old japanese boxwood. Passionate about his craft and eager to pass on his knowledge.
