I order from here about once a week and it’s always AMAZING. They will adjust spiciness as you request, the price is great, and very nice delivery guy. The pad see ew and kang ka ree are especially awesome!

Second time ordering delivery. And it’s so good. Just what I want. I am a picky eater and they do it’s what I ask. Add carrots. Done. Extra soy sauce. Done Hot!!! Done And the delivery time and price is awesome.

Completely unacceptable service from delivery driver(the older gentleman with two teeth and the greasy black hair) who was rude, condescending, threatened to not give me my food, and argued with me about the number of times he phoned to notify that he was outside my residence. Never again – a shame, because it’s actually decent Thai.

I wish I had some feed back to say about the food at Thai bistro but I don’t because they never came I wanted 2 ½ hours and 2 phone calls and I’m still waiting. I think it’s and awesome place if your on a diet because you can order mouth watering dishes that will never arrive.

I ordered delivery tonight after a long LDW. Well this was the last time I will pay this business. The delivery too over 2 hours! Then they called me an hour AFTER I ordered to tell me they didn’t have some item I ordered… fine, no biggie, I’m not upset yet. Then at 11:15 they get to my house and ask me to come to my gate and get the food. Not after 2 hours… you can come to my door. When the delivery guys gets here he has a crap attitude. That totally changed my mood. I take the food and then close my door. He stands outside screaming for me to turn the lights in the foyer on… Uhm I don’t control that, and why are you screaming? He finally leaves but slams each door on his way out… Clearly y’all have lost your minds! The food… small portions. The wonton soup is a no — chintzy. The BBQ chicken was ok… But one star is for the food.

This is a decent neighborhood Thai place. I often get the papaya salad and the fresh spring rolls with shrimp. Also, I know this might sound a little strange, but has anyone noticed that this place might be haunted? One time I was picking up some papaya salad(ordered online which is quick and easy). When I got there, I sat and waited for my order(not too long a wait). In my peripheral vision, I thought a saw someone. I felt a presence. I turned and nothing was there, so I let it go. But then, a few minutes later, while still waiting for the papaya salad, I saw a hazy figure appear, seated at the table across from me. It looked like this ghostly being was also waiting, maybe for a noodle dish. He turned and looked right at me. I didn’t say anything. I couldn’t. The hazy man then gave me a slow nod, as if to say, «I’m still here too.» I stood up to approach — but he was gone, like nothing. Anyway, this is a solid neighborhood spot, even if the service is a little cold. Try the papaya salad!

It came in 20 minutes… You know what that means… Not fresh… But the thai rice was good though. Too bad so small portion!

The food is great and if you get the right people, they are really great too. However if you get the girl at the counter that has a tough time with good english, does not understand easily, and cannot communicate very effectively without getting angry, then it can be rather unpleasant. This is a repetitive situation over many years. Latest was today(June 2015) when the sign in the window says they are open, there are 4 people sitting inside at a table, there are tables and chairs set out on the sidewalk, BUT the door is locked. Could be the owners, though not a hint of what is going on from anybody. On the phone(via girl) they are now doing delivery only, though possibly open in two weeks, and I got a furious hung up on trying to get a clear explanation. The girl I am referring to is a much bigger negative compared to the positive of the excellent food. Great to be passionate, however anger does not make for pleasantry. Rating of 3 of 5 is(–1) for the girl and(5) for the food(and service) for the times the girl is not there. Note that my favorite is to have the salmon STEAMED(special request) with the same sauce used for the trout, add in some extra vegetables and rice — it is world class dinning. That is about $ 13 for which I usually leave a $ 20, because it is well worth the experience(fab). Roll the dice on expectations.(1308 N Edgemont St)

Ordered today for the first time and I must say my co-workers and I were really impressed. The food was delicious! Some of the best Thai Food we have had. The wontons were our favorite though. We were a little hessitant to order because of the other reviews about the bad customer service but the man that helped us was great. Hopefully we never get the lady everyone is talking about, lol. They were very precise with the delivery time. I ordered at 11:15am and they said it would be 45 minutes for delivery and the food was here by 12. We will definitely be ordering again.

I ordered the pad thai(medium spicy) and wontons for delivery — and it was at my door 25 minutes later! Super fast! The pad thai was one of the best I’ve had and was what I would say was a «true» medium spicy — I had the sniffles by the time I was done eating yet my mouth wasn’t burning or anything to the point I couldn’t continue. REALLY good. The wontons had more chicken in them than most other restaurants I’ve ordered for but par for the course, it’s still just a little spot. I had no problems with the delivery guy. He was nice to my dog but didn’t seem inappropriate at all. I don’t know if that guy is gone or I just was lucky tonight. Definitely ordering again. EASILY the best delivery pad thai I’ve had in nearly 3 years in Hollywood.

Food is good quality. Restaurant always clean. Lady always has an attitude the guy is always nice . Have been eating from here for officially 2 years yesterday was my last night. I had lunch specials orange chicken and seafood mix. I had vegetable of tofu and different curries I ate there at least 40 times. I ordered the lunch special over the phone I told her I know the lunch special is over but how much for the same thing she told me 9 dollars to use my card I bought two sauces to make it 10. When I got home to eat my food was not what I ordered. So I called them the lady was arguing saying thats what I ordered horrible customer service will be eating from the chinese food or japanese food down the street. I will definitely miss their food but not her service. And I gave her a tip on my debit should of went back to x it out. I basically paid double for something I didn’t even want. Also they close earlier then they say there business time once we called before we went she said they close at 945 get down there at 920 and they are already closed waste of a trip.

Food — hit or miss. The food is not bad when they serve it fresh, however sometimes they will serve old clumpy rice and old looking and tasting curry. Service — really terrible. I’ve been here over a dozen times in the last few months(because the location is so convenient) and the lady who normally works the front is very rude, she rolls her eyes and scoffs at you when you just place a simple order. Dont even think about asking her a question. I’ve seen her hang up on people a fews times. The other worker is a man who is nicer however they’ve put several chairs behind the register and he will lay down there with his shoes off during restaurant hours while customers are eating on the other side. Really unprofessional and grosses me out. I wish they would just cut out those bad points so I feel comfortable returning.

One star is one star too many. I’m not sure what’s worse, the horribly rude customer service or the disgusting food. Stay away from this place if you have any love for yourself.

The food was great. I ordered it through Grub Hub, it was hot arrived on time. BUT, the guy that delivered the food was creepy and looking down my shirt while I was getting my dog out of the way. He kept petting my dog and said to me to keep petting him, he loves dogs. When I realized he was deeply focused on my breasts I stood up, signed the paper and handed it to him quickly. He said, «let me see you pet your dog one more time». I was creeped out and said, «No, we are done now». I was going to let that situation slide without adding it to my review of the food but then I read another review on here that stated another woman being harassed by the delivery guy by making inappropriate comments about her breasts. The delivery guy is just a creep. The food is great. I don’t know if the delivery driver was from the restaurant or through Grub Hub. I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the pervy delivery guy.

Not that good. Do not order the wantons. They’re just fried dough with one tiny piece of chicken. Curry was okay but nothing to brag about. Very quick delivery tho.

I live within just a couple blocks from this place, and it’s great. Food: Delicious! And their lunch specials are a good deal. I’ve never had such good rolls. Price: Decent, average price for these types of dishes. If you get food for two, it’s about $ 15 – 20 Atmosphere: It’s not bad, but it’s pretty small. I think people mainly pickup their orders. Staff: This is probably the only downside. Sometimes the staff can be somewhat unfriendly. Not mean, but just very to-the-point.

I’ve been debating whether or not to write this review, but I think it’s important information for anyone ordering delivery from this restaurant. The food is delicious — so delicious I ordered it four times via GrubHub. The service via phone isn’t great(it’s usually a woman answering, and she’s pretty rude, sometimes hanging up on you if you ask a question), but the beauty of ordering online is that you don’t even have to deal with her. Problem solved! Nope, it’s not the yummy food or the poor service. The reason for this 1 star rating is my last delivery experience. After getting delivery twice from them, the third time around the man(the same man who always delivers) felt comfortable enough to both comment on how much he liked my breasts and also ask me if they were fake or real. What the what? It was creepy as all get out, and he just kept standing there smiling, waiting for me to answer like he’d asked me how I was liking the weather. I was completely shocked, so I calmly told him I wouldn’t be answering and locked the door behind him. Come on. What did he think was going to happen? Did he think I was going to invite him in, overcome by his pervy compliments and tasty Thai food? It was gross and inappropriate, and as much as I love their food I can’t give my business to anyone who thinks it’s acceptable to harass their female customers when they’re halfway inside their door. I would complain to the business, but the woman answering the phone is so rude it seems pointless… and when she doesn’t answer, a man answers who I’m fairly sure is our same curious delivery guy(Maybe they’re the owners?). There’s pretty much no comfortable recourse beyond Unilocal. If you want good food, go pick it up. If you want delivery, have your boyfriend answer the door. If you want to support a business that respects women, go somewhere else.
