Thank God for Garden Café! I work in the same building as this café, and I am soooo thankful because it has saved me in a lot of emergencies… hunger emergencies. Sometimes I am too busy to eat breakfast or pack lunch… so I end up going to Garden Café on a whim. I tried almost everything on their menu. My favorite is the cobb salad and roast beef sandwich. They also have daily specials, including Korean BBQ plates/wraps, taco salads, fried shrimp, and even spaghetti and meatballs. Breakfast burritos are good, too… I love the way they cook their bacon — extra crispy! The owners — Brian and his family — are always so friendly & professional. Overall, I feel blessed that the café right below my office is amazing. Otherwise, I would be forced to choose between leaving the building to eat during my busy schedule, or starving. Keep up the good work, Garden Café!!!

This is my favorite place for a quick lunch during work. These guys are the absolute best. The owners are so hard working. It really is incredible watching them serve their customers. They really seem to care. Plus the food is always so good and fresh.

Can’t beat the customer service here. The guy at the register is always so kind and grateful to be taking your order. It’s refreshing. My favorite item is the tuna melt panini with avocado. It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Today I tried their soup for the 1st time, which was sweet pea(it changes daily). I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s vegetarian friendly and it was actually super delicious and filling. They also have drinks, muffins, protein bars, smoothies, chips, candy, nuts and various other offerings to satisfy your mid-afternoon cravings. Be warned that this place is usually busy during peak times so I suggest calling at least 10 minutes ahead to cut down on the time you’ll be standing off to the side waiting. Sometimes it doesn’t look busy but don’t let that fool you because they deliver so there could still be a lot of orders ahead of you. Enjoy!

Lindsay our server contributed to making this a 4 star. She was checking in at the right times and her recommendations were on point. I order the artisan grilled cheese pastrami with steak fires. My girlfriend orders the chicken skewers and we decided on adding a bottle of wine. Both dishes were delicious. The bottle of wine seemed like a $ 5 bottle that was sold at $ 26(salmon creek 2012). A glass was about $ 7, so it made sense to buy the bottle. That said, knowing bottles are always inflated, this just seemed a bit much. We will be back for the service and food, just not to drink.

This café is located in the lobby level of an office building, which is super convenient if you happen to work in that office building, which luckily, I do. They have a lot of really yummy foods, like sandwiches and burgers and other assorted items, plus a breakfast menu, and smoothies, and coffee. They also have a bunch of snack items for sale, as well as all kind of drinks, and even ice cream! The family that works there, and owns it, is super nice and very helpful.

Two coworkers and I came here by chance from visiting one of our clients. We grabbed a quick snack here in between meetings. It was great. Since we only had limited time to eat, so I only ordered a half sandwich. I ordered the smoke salmon and it was so delicious! It has wasabi in it which it’s new and interesting. But one star down for the slow service and a bit pricey for just half a sandwich. Other than that, I would love to go back to get the smoked salmon sandwich again and enjoy the entire thing while not needing to worry about the time!

Luncheonette [luhn-chuh-net] noun, a small restaurant or lunchroom where light meals are served. Hungry people listen up. Garden Café, a family owned, service oriented business is there for you. No office building/complex should be without a resto like this, especially for peeps too unmotivated, sleep-deprived, just plain lazy and or all of the aforementioned to stop at a grocery store to grab a pre-fab let alone ingredients to actually prepare such the night before. You can’t go wrong here. The Egg Salad Sandwich is fresh, precisely diced and flavorful on toasted sourdough add lettuce, tomato, onion, call it lunch or breakfast, depending what kind of all-nighter you’re coming on, or off of. Texan Burger is WAY more flavorful than any burger variety at Fat Burger, competitively priced like all the fare. My friends raved so about the Caprese Sandwich and Turkey Cranberry Panini that I was not allowed even a bite. I’m a fan who WILL be back!

How have I worked down the street from this place for four years and just now found it? Garden Café is located on the bottom floor of a large office building that houses KSCI Channel 18 and a bunch of other businesses. The two counter folks I met on my first trip were a couple of middle aged Korean guys. They were very kind and humble. I ordered the Turkey Burger which comes with garden salad, potato salad or(I think) soup. Having not eating all day, I chose the potato salad. The turkey burger is pretty straight forward. Lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, mayo, mustard and a thin patty that tastes like a hot dog. You can of course sub out any of those ingredients. The potato salad came in a small Styrofoam bowl and was kind of unexpectedly sweet. They have two Soups of the Day here that I’ll probably be back to try. Not sure about the parking arrangement, but if you work nearby, it’s a quiet, friendly place to eat a meal.

I have working in this building for 10 years now and as others have mentioned… we’ve been through A LOT of different owners. Brian is by far the best and I am so happy to see that others feel the same. He is friendly and accommodating — will gladly make off the menu requests and substitutions with a smile. The food is consistently good — from the basic sandwiches to the daily specials. Sadly — we will be moving soon and the consensus in our office is that the thing we will miss the most about this office space is Brian and the Garden Café.

I work at Fox 11 across the street from this lovely café. Since working here the past 6 years, I’ve seen 4 different owners & café’s at this location. The first, was Reva, a kind hearted Russian woman, with lots of goulash dishes. Needless to say, one day during the downed recession, she was told by the building management that her lease was not going to be renewed. She was so upset, she took everything and the kitchen sink… I did miss her for a long time. and I hear she has a restaurant up the coast not too far. A few more restauranteurs tried to make this their own afterwards, yet nothing took, until Brian and his awesome family came to Garden Café! They have amazingly delicious & fresh food, and even serve breakfast until 11:00 am! They are fast, efficient and have really fair prices, I love this Café! They do close early, I think 4pm, but if you work or live on the West Side, it is the Best! :)

Burgers and sandwiches are pretty good. Especially the roast beef. I do however wish they would vary the daily specials more than the 3 or four chicken dishes they have. Brian the owner is really nice and has great customer service skills.

Great place to eat! The service is fast and they make their sandwiches well. Since I work in the building, it’s also close by. Not expensive at all, and they make a mean ham and cheese sandwich(which you never realized you could improve)

The Good This is probably one of my favorite cafes. Since it’s close to work, I come here at least once a week. –The food here is amazing and they have at least 3 different specials everyday. The price is very good for the portion you get. My favorite is Korean BBQ pork with rice and vegetable, which comes with salad and soft drink. It usually takes me 2 meals to finish the whole thing, and it’s only $ 7.99. And if you decide you don’t want something from the combo, he will take part of the price off for you. –It’s owned by a Korean family, and unlike many resturants in K-town, they are super nice and friendly. — There is a sit down area where you can enjoy the food, and they do delivery also The bad — They are only open Mon-Fri from 7 am– 4pm — Don’t go around the lunch, it’s pretty packed. And if you don’t want to wait, call in to order first.
