I used to come here for breakfast. They will make you pretty much whatever you want with the ingredients on hand. I would generally get eggs with beans on a taco and add salads and other ingredients. In short: it’s good and it’s cheap. They are closed now with the building being renovated. I’m guessing they won’t be back.

Solid taco joint in Downtown LA. A regular place for regular people; something that is being lost in Downtown LA with the growing Manhattanization of the area. Usual choice of meats: pork, beef and chicken. Good tortillas and lots of different toppings. Burritos look good too. Cheap and fast.

Walking around downtown LA at 6 in the morning with a burrito craving? Then Guerrero Taco is the place to go for a $ 4 burrito! Food was great and the price was even better!

The Mexican food is authentic, tasty and cheap. I ordered two carnitas tacos. They came with a whole lot of meat on four corn tortillas(two for each taco). They were served with onions, radishes, and two sauces — a green on one and a spicier red on the other. The meat looked and tasted fresh. With a drink, my total came out to $ 4. Service was quick. The line wasn’t bad at all but it was crowded and difficult to find seating for more than three. Parking is tricky in this area so it might be better to walk if you’re in the neighborhood. I was the only person in this place that wasn’t hispanic. Authentic food with an authentic crowd — that’s definitely a good sign. I really like this place and you probably will to.
