Hane True Value Hardware

I’ve always liked True Value hardware stores for their old school feel and general usefulness in having about everything you may need packed in one place.
This place doesn’t let you down either. Had to make a metal rope «padlock ready» to lock up some of items I had but didn’t have the tools to do so. The owner allowed his employee to fashion it for me, no charge, and I was grateful for it.
While waiting for the task to be done I watched as the owner dealt with a difficult customer. He did a good job and the customer realized he didn’t have a case. He wasn’t happy but he was made aware. Not a bad skill to have.
I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Had this been Home Depot I doubt they would have done this for me nor would there be anywhere near the customer service. Which is why I rather shop at the small business stores whenever possible. And the prices here are very decent across the board.
I tipped the employee and left. 10 minutes later I had to come back and buy a chain as the rope was a tad too long. So now I have an extra bondage tool that could come in handy sometime. Who knows what the future brings?

I always find everything I need. Today I had go get hard wear for my tool box I got that came with no hardware so I came hear and the dude that was their said he would help me out I didn’t even have to look for anything I showed him a list and he said yeah I have it thanks bro this is why I keep coming because you guys always have what I need They even have automotive nuts and bolts thanks guys for always being so cool with us customers always the same great service

Great store! They had everything I needed to remodel my bedroom. Everyone was very friendly and sooo helpful since I really had no idea what I was doing.
I also rented a carpet cleaner from here as well. Highly recommend!!!

DO NOT RENT A UHAUL FROM HERE!!! The people in this establishment are nice and friendly greeting you at the door with smiles and cheer as long as you are only buying hardware supplies. This location also rents U-​haul trucks. You must sign a contract that states they get to charge a 100.00 late fee. That is 3 to 5 times the amount you pay to rent the truck itself. Late fees are sometimes required but this amount is absorbent. No other location does this, U-​haul themselves don’t charge this amount. U-​haul charges just the extra day. Hane hardware charges an extra day and 100.00 dollars. If you need to rent a Uhaul, don’t rent from a subcontractor especially not from here. Rent only from an actual U-​haul place. You will get screwed otherwise.

Hane Hardware has been around for over 60 years and there is a very good reason as to why.
Customer service is very much exerted in this establishment. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by eager representatives ready and willing to help you with what ever home improvement problem you have. Their prices don’t beat big chain home improvement stores like home depot, however they make up for it big time with a very well knowledgeable staff. They offer a wide array of services and products ranging from everything from plumbing to paint as well as a U-​Haul dealer.
