Hollywood Foot Spa Massage

Bad foot massage. They wear rubber gloves and it feels like they put no care into what they are doing to you. They also seem like they are not trained in the profession of massage. I wouldn’t be surprised if they never went to massage school. Also, I paid for a 1 hour foot massage and the lady spent no more than 5 minutes on each foot. The remaining 50 minutes was spent half heartedly rubbing my back. Never will I go back to this dump.

Warning! This business has a non-​advertised MANDATORY tip policy. If you are unemployed or a student, don’t go there. Or at least wait until you have additional money per service. Saw the older Chinese woman argue and block the way out for 2 customers who had paid with cash and didn’t leave as much tip as the business requires.

I walked out mad after the massage. I paid $ 60 for 90 mins… she «rubbed» me and dug her elbows into my back for those 90 mins. Also, they made me pay prior to their service, so I left a more than gracious tip before I knew what I was getting to be kind (I deeply regret it). DO NOT GO HERE! My body hurts as well. Zero stars for real guys.

I am a foot massage addict.
I usually go to Twin Jade in Rosemead, on San Gabriel and valley. Don’t mind sharing that hidden jem, since foot massage places are a dime a dozen in that area. But I needed something closer to Los Feliz.
I tried a couple of Thai massage places, but none left me with the urge to return.
I found this place on Unilocal and was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews, but I decided to give it a try since it was one of the few Chinese massage places around the area.
I loved it. It was empty when I went as a walk in. The pressure was perfect me. I’m on heels all day and type a lot for work, so the focus on my hands arms and feet were spot on. When he did my back, the pressure got stronger, but I like it that way.
Parking is busy. But free and available. I will return.

Oh honey. You truly get what you pay for! I was recommended to go here by a friend who told me point to the first item on the menu and it’s $ 20 for an hour massage. Basically I feel I got about 15 minutes worth of a massage, and the rest was weird awkward rubbing and patting of my body that did not feel very good. My feet were placed in a lukewarm tub of water that very quickly grew cold. She rubbed Kiwi scented lotion all over me, including all over my face and into my hair and scalp. I don’t know how this place makes any money because she used at least $ 20 worth of Kiwi scented lotion on me. It was squishing in my shoes when I walked out. I will say that it might perhaps come down to luck of the draw regarding who does your massage. A very nice woman did mine, but there was a very loud woman enjoying her massage a few feet away. She was being very vocal about how fabulous it was, moaning and telling him what a great job he was doing. Maybe if I would’ve gotten that particular male masseuse I would’ve felt a little more satisfied. Who knows? All I know is save your $ 20 and go somewhere and pay a little bit more and actually get a massage and not just a kiwi lotion rubdown.

I go to this place a couple of Times per week. I am Training (boxing) twice a day 6 days a week so I do come ere to get a good deep tissue rub. King Special is my favourite, 30 mins on feet and one hr deep tissue massage. Good place, only thing is that they don’t speak good English so explaining type of massage can b difficult.

I got an hr long foot massage that included a face and upper body «rubbing» plus an intense 5 minute neck massage. Yup, got what I paid for, a lousy $ 20 massage. I’m glad I didn’t pay more for a full body massage, I would’ve been upset about this experience even more.
Also, the business hours posted on the door say they close at 10pm, but at 9:30, when my massage ended, they were all waiting by the door to leave, so the massage seemed rushed and weak, which I guess it as expected due to the fact that I went late at night.
Anyway, save your money and go somewhere else.

Love the fact you can walk in pretty much any old time and get a massage. It’s only $ 20 for an hour foot massage that’s totally relaxing and increases the circulation. Not as good for getting the knots out of the shoulders.
You have to be willing to overcome the snoring from the client next to you, the old old massage chairs, being naked with only a sheet separating you and your neighbor, and the horrendous ambiance. It’s akin to a massage joint in a 3^rd world country and it’s an 99 cent store shopping center for goodness sake. Set your expectations accordingly.

Very bad service, they’re very rude. whispering, giggling. you buy one hour get 45 minutes. cheating on time. when u tip they ask you for more tips. here is the story: I got $ 20 massage i din’t like it. I tipped $ 8, my bf gave $ 10. So when I’m about to leave my girl is saying «why u gave me only $ 8? He gave her $ 10 u have to give me $ 10 too.» so they stood by the door until my bf gave them another $ 5. We left and I’m never coming back. LOL Idk very unprofessional in my opinion…

I usually go here for the full body, $ 35 massage. They do a great job of working out my knots and loosening me up. I have never been disappointed with the full body and I always ask for a woman, those are my tips. Now the $ 20 foot massage is another story, like any bargain, hit or miss. The best full body I had here was a couple of weeks ago by a girl named Yo Yo. I have a really stiff neck and she had me in tears massaging the knots out. But by the end of it my body was pain free! What I really like about this place too is that it’s acupressure so they access the same acupuncture points that bring energy balance to the body. And of course they give the cup of hot green tea at the end. Really great deal!

I went in with a friend and I we got the foot specials. It wasn’t the greatest massage i’ve had, I would give it a three. While we were getting the message all the employees were talking, whispering and giggling. We were the to relax and instead we were irritated. So when we were done with the terrible massage and went to pay, the masseuse fallowed us to the desk and kept on saying «tip», «tip» with a really mean look on her face. My friend and I were shocked!!! We always tip $ 10 pr $ 20 depending on if they knew what they were doing. THEY WERE TERRIBLE!!! FAST AND PAINFUL!!! DIDN’T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AT ALL!!! MY WHOLE BACK IS IN PAIN!!! To top it off there is rudecustomer, young male worker there with yellow teeth and terrible breath that was not accepting my $ 3 tip!!! He was arguing with me and saying that TIPPING IS MANDATORY AND ATLEAST IT HAS TO BE $ 5-​$ 30!!! The young disgusting male with the yellow teeth and terrible, rude customer service was farting and burping while he was demanding a larger tip!!! The service was terrible across the board!!! I would understand if the service was good, it’s loud and one guy was on his cell phone talking so loud and nobody would say anything.
Here is a tip for the young jerk. You want a larger tip then provide better service!!!
IN AMERICA TIPS ARE NOT MANDATORY!!! DO A BETTER JOB AND ALLOW PEOPLE TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH THEY WANT TO GIVE YOU!!! GIVE YOUR WHOLE STAFF THIS MESSAGE! People are struggling because of the economy, if they chose to give you their business appreciate it, we have many options. People come there and pay you so we can unwind and relax Physiclly and mentally.
THINK ABOUT IT FROM OUR POINT OF VIEW. WE ALREADY FEEL LIKE WE’RE OVERPAYING BECAUSE THE SERVICE AND THE MESSAGE WAS TERRIBLE! ! So you have no right to demand money from Anyone!!!

Great experience. 60 minutes on a full size table that includes ½ body work (deep tissue and stretching) and ½ foot soak and reflexology while on the table. Worked out my shoulders and knots. Nice ambience and decoration, don’t be scared of the 99 Cent store parking lot where you find this place, just go inside and you will be whisked away. Total cost $ 30+tip for 60 minutes, great deal. Highly recommend.

He was great about concentrating on my problem area (left shoulder) and I could tell really knew his acupressure.
You know how some Thai massage places just slap you around a lot? This place is not that.

This place is awesome. They are REALLY good, and really well priced. $ 25 for one hour of reflexology and some full body massage. I believe it’s $ 45 for one hour of acupressure. They have really helped me in between appointments at my chiropractors office. They’re very sweet, and everyone I’ve seen there has been great! It’s right by the 99cents Only store, so don’t expect fancy, but it’s clean, and they’ve fixed it up quite a bit since it first opened. Give them a shot, I promise you’ll be glad you did!

Affordable prices. Great service. Great atmosphere though a little run-​down on the outside, they were crafty about making the inside comfortable. I had no wait. My masseuse was Steven, he was really good and got rid of my neck and shoulder knots. Went 10 minutes over my one hour time which i really appreciated. Plus you can get points and after ⁵⁄₆ visits your next massage is FREE!

My mom loves this place! The people are super friendly and they always give my mom an extra 30mins! They are very skillful and use a lot of strength!
