I went to Hyperion for lunch and was disappointed. While I like Pub food, that Is pretty much all we have in the Valley at this point and was hoping there would be at least something that was healthy on the menu, but sadly no. I ordered the Brussel Sprout Cobb Salad. What I got was crispy deep fat fried shredded brussel sprouts, with about a tablespoon of crumbled hard boiled egg, a teaspoon of crumbled cheese and a teaspoon of chopped bacon. While it tasted good, who doesn’t love fried food, it couldn’t have been farther from healthy than you could possible imagine. It was a Giant plate of crispy fried brussel sprouts! Three bites into this meal I ordered a side of chicken, so that I could have something that resembled food and offer me some nourishment to get me through the rest of my day. That took another 10 minutes to bring a tiny, pound to an eighth of an inch, piece of chicken breast to me. The majority of items on the menu were your typical pub faire Mac ‘n cheese, wings, pretzels with special sauce and burgers. The one waitress working the entire restaurant was friendly and as attentive as she could be. The décor couldn’t be more lovely, which is always nice. It doesn’t smell like a bar, which also is a big plus. I am not sure why we need another Pub on Ventura Boulevard when I can think of about 10 between Laurel Canyon and Sepulveda serving exactly the same thing. The food/menu was far from unique it was like every other gastro-pub in the area.

Absolutely terrible & I would not come back again. We ordered our drinks first thing to find out ten minutes later they had run out of iced tea to put in one of their featured cocktails. After ordering a different drink instead, it took another ten minutes to get & they had forgotten the other one of our drinks. Our entrees came out almost 10 mins apart from each other & they also charged us for something we didn’t get. We ordered the Kale Caesar & the Cali burger. The food was not nearly good enough to justify this lack of service. They didn’t even offer to comp our $ 7 appetizer after all this(avocado fries, which were very good). I was very excited for a new restaurant/bar in my neighborhood, but I am very very disappointed & unfortunately cannot recommend this place. $ 80 wasted on this meal

AWESOME new spot! Décor is beautiful. Happy hour offerings were solid. The sliders and lettuce cups were the best. Grilled cheese was just ok. Nothing fancy at all. I had 2 lemon drops and hubby had a few beers… Got out the door for under $ 50. Their first Friday being open was definitely THE place to be. Totally packed, everyone hustling around… great vibe. Only reason Im docking a star is because both times I ordered a cocktail, the bartender made it and it took 10 minutes for our cocktail waitress to grab it and bring it to me. I stared at it sitting there knowing it was mine for a LONG time. When I got it finally, it was barely cold still. It happened the second time I ordered the same drink, too. We found another cocktail waitress to bring it after it sat there lonely at the end of the bar for what seemed like ages. I know its their first week and these things will get fixed with time… but they probably should have had extra waitstaff on hand for that first friday. Also, valet parking is a dick dance. Took a LONG time to get cars. Working out the kinks still for sure… I will be back. Family friendly, too!

I was happy to see that Kings Head got turned around so quickly into Hyperion Public. The space seems lighter overall. We went on their third day. There are two doors — which was confusing — one for the bar and one for the dining room. I got their happy hour wings and the deconstructed fish taco. My husband had the chicken sandwich with the homemade potato chips. Food — 4 stars Service — 5 stars(they scan your credit card at the table and email you your receipt) Ambiance — 4.5(better than Kings Head) Parking is valet or street(meters) Go for the happy hour!(Until 7 most days)

I’ve been waiting for a Gastro Pub to open in Studio City. Finally we have one. Me and my girl hit it the other night. The old fashion was great. Pub food was good. Service was nice and friendly.

This is the new in place in Studio City. I was greeted by the owner who made sure that our food was great and service top notch. The menu has plenty to choose from and will not disappoint. I will be back soon. Thank you!

My family and I had a blast a the Hyperion Public/Studio City«Friends and Family» soft open Sunday night! True there were a lot of kids there, but hey, kids a big part of family! The food was fantastic, the drinks were good too. The place was packed with greatness like the NFL playoffs, blues music and Shrimp and Grits and the Fried Donut!!! MUSTHAVE!!! It was good to see and make new friends, it was great to spend some time with the family for the«Friends and Family» soft open. That was very nice and special occasion, it was certainly not the norm. Oh,(TP.) kids at a bar is not illegal… Taking pictures of kids that aren’t yours is kinda creepy tho.

Great opening! Welcoming and lively, the sliders were awesome. Very good food, and a place to consider in the same class as Rocco’s they have a ton of TV’s for sports. With the vibes of Granville’s. I Will be back for sure; need to sample the rest of the menu!

Never again. Felt like I was in Chuck E Cheese! The kids out numbers the adults 5:1. Who wants to go to «the Community Pub» as noted in the front door to have children climbing under tables and over you as they fight for crayons. Plenty of photos to submit of these kids in a bar. Is that legal? I give this place 2 months until it closes. TWILIGHTZONE.
