One of the complete worst experiences of my life. We came in, checked our clocks, and it was 12:32am. According to Unilocal, they close at 1am. We walked in and checked the menu for about 5 minutes before the worker came in and told us they closed. We were confused and just walked across the street to Mr Coffee to get a drink. As we were checking through the window of Mr Coffee, we saw a gentleman closing the gate to I Love Boba(we parked there initially deciding to go there before they said they were«closed».) We ran out and talked to the male employee. He was being extremely unprofessional, unreasonable, and unethical. We told him we parked there initially wanting to get drinks, but the female worker said they closed(even though it’s 12:30am and they close at 1am). He didn’t understand and wasn’t being reasonable and to sum it up told us to ask someone else as he locked the gate and drove away. Thank you, not. Disclaimer: I didn’t have any of the foods. This is solely on customer service. I attempted to get food, though.

This place used to be ok. Wayyyyy back in the day. The hubs and I stopped by today for the first time in years. Granted parking was easy and service was quick, but that’s where the good stuff ended. As I walked out I took a sip of my taro milk tea… got in the car and took one more sip just to make sure what I was tasting was for real. Yup, definitely disgusting. But to be extra sure, I had the hubs taste it. There was no denying it then. Completely undrinkable. What a waste of money. Hubs was like«drink mine instead,» so I tried his. It wasn’t AS bad, but it was by no means good. Not drinking that either… and he had regular milk tea. How hard is it to make that? Black tea, milk, sweetener. That’s it. But it tastes like they’re using powdered milk or something. Gross. I need something to wash the taste out of my mouth.

One of the worst boba places I have ever gone too… Like LA espcially Koreatown is knwon for having amazing boba and this place was reviewed and ranked really high on Unilocal, but man don’t be fooled. When the place doesn’t make a simple Honey Milk Tea or doesn’t know what a Hokkaido Milk Tea is then dang…

Very small place but it’s peaceful. The employees are great, service is fast and very convenient. The drinks are very delicious and the price is fair. Recommend to everyone!

This place was alright… wouldn’t come back if I had a choice. First: pretty expensive and it’s a dollar difference to upgrade sizes as well. Second: the Thai tea & Milk tea boba drinks tasted weird to me. Doesn’t taste like how it normally should be… maybe it wasn’t fresh? and the milk tea seemed like it had a hint of chocolate in it too. Third: they charge 50 cents if you want to pay with card.

I don’t know of any other store name that so captures the essence of my life as perfectly as this one does. A great boba joint in K-town, this place is a must visit after a heavy night of eating kbbq, cheesy ribs, tofu bowls, kalgooksoo, or even dumplings at H-mart, whatever your fancy. They have a small parking lot of their own too. Free parking, but it definitely gets packed and a little tight.(Tip: If you have a friend, then just drop your friend off while you idle somewhere else.) I’ve gotten the Coffee Frappé(with boba) and the Strawberry Banana Smoothie(with boba). I don’t even know why you would come here without getting boba. Anyway, if you’ve never wondered if boba would taste good in your frappuccino from Starbucks, then let me tell you along with your sorry lack of creativity that it’s an idea worth the drive and an idea done right here at I Love Boba. Similarly, if you are feeling more fruity, I highly recommend trying their fruit smoothies with boba. Clearly, if you aren’t a boba lover, then don’t come here. But if you want to spice up that drive back along the 10, then stop by this place for a great end to your night!

Decent boba place in K-Town. Walked in and saw the interesting vibe of graffiti-style wall coverings. They had a wide selection of drinks– including shave ice in a cup and frappé’s, along with the standard boba drink selections. Parking was quick and convenient in their private lot. Also service was good. I got their Boba Thai Iced Tea. Their boba itself is just okay. I do like the custard they have(add 25 cents) but wish they gave more. We also got their Almond Milk Tea(rich and sweet, to my liking) and Boba Milk Tea(a little dilute tasting, not very good). Maybe should try their more unique stuff(shave ice in a cup or frappé) next time. But overall not impressed.

Tasty boba! Small location and the parking lot can be a mush, but at least there is parking! Somewhat on the pricier end for boba but very yummy. They do any drink as a slushie, which I would definitely recommend(especially thai tea slushie!). Staff is always very friendly. There’s not enough seating

My friend loves the watermelon boba here, and it is tasty if you like watermelon. Fresh watermelon pureed with hints of sweetness. However, my passion fruit boba had real pieces of passion fruit which I can appreciate but didn’t want it. The boba didn’t taste fresh either. For $ 4, high quality boba with fresh fruits, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Cash for one drink but can use card if purchasing 2. Lots of parking and loud music makes it quite the place to hang out.

It’s become somewhat of a ritual for my friends and I to come here for Milk Tea boba after attending shows at the Wiltern, located right down the street. Fair prices and a convenient wait times have more than earned it that title. I’ve personally never experienced any trouble or inconvenience parking in their designated area, but I can imagine it can get a bit rough. It doesn’t knock down the Unilocal score for me since I’ve never had trouble parking. Employees have always been nice and haven’t messed up our order. Also have tackled down the lines in a timely manner whenever I’ve been there. Again, a reflection of the score. All in all, if you’re in the area, check it out!

I can’t believe I haven’t wrote a review for this cool little spot. They have really good bobas and I haven’t been here for awhile, but I remember there was a time where I was hooked. I would come almost everyday with my sisters. We would spend too much money coming everyday so we stopped coming slowly. They are so addicting and what I love the most is that you can custom make your flavor. Most place do not do this. They only serve what they have in the menu. They have a lot on there menu, but if you want to get creative you can! My husband has his special banana oreo smoothie with boba and he loves it. I like to keep it simple and get Oreo with extra boba. I tried his and it is good, but I prefer not mixing too much. My sister gets a mango pineapple. It is very inexpensive and it is nice to come chill here for awhile with friends. They have those big heaters near the tables because their sitting area is indoors but it does get cold at night. They are open really late and the people that work here are very nice. If they make a mistake they correct it without complaining. It gets full sometimes and they have a small parking lot. Most of the time I just order to go because there aren’t tables available. Some people get a table, but don’t take long. I recommend to come get your Oreo shake with extra boba. If you want to sit in then come in the afternoon or morning because at night there are usually a lot of people.

Overpriced(even for LA), cramped, and the parking is horrid. They have a small lot that is usually full of cars attempting to navigate in and out. There is a larger lot next door but it’s guarded by parking attendants who shoo you out if you aren’t patroning the restaurants they work for. I usually come here only because I’ve finished AYCE Korean BBQ down the street and need some boba fix, but I need to start looking for alternatives because it’s just not worth it.

I got the boba green milk tea over ice and I could feel the grains of the matcha powder. The boba was also a little tough at the center and then really chewy after so my jaw got tired after finishing my drink. My brother got the boba green milk tea slushie and it was so grainy but the coldness from the slushie made the boba even harder so he didn’t even finish his. They have a private parking lot but they share it with another restaurant and some of the spots were reserved for the other place.

I was looking for a late night dessert spot in K-town and ended up going to my first ‘I Love Boba’. It isn’t the best boba joints that I’ve tried, but it was the least priciest places around if you are looking for something sweet after 11PM. This place is extremely casual. Inside, they have a sitting area with heat lamps. I was a little put off with the tagged walls(intentionally going for that) and dusty, fake vines that decorated the room, but I wasn’t going to have that stop me from trying out this place. I came with a group of three and we all picked 3 completely different items: Shaved ice bowl(my choice), hot matcha milk tea and a cheesecake slice. The shaved ice was huge and can be easily shared by 3 – 4 people, the matcha in the milk tea was not properly mixed in and was very grainy as well as too sweet, and the cheesecake(even though I was put off with how it looked) seemed like an average cheesecake. This ‘I Love Boba’ wasn’t an amazing experience. Its unlikely that I will be going here for a second time unless my night calls me into another late night craving of sweets.
