IHOP

We went to this Ihop location on our last day in Los Angeles. Again living in Texas I can’t get used to the hefty prices. But, it is expected since its right on sunset. I got the breakfast sampler and a water, and that was the last time I saw the waitress until She gave our check. Yup, that means I had one glass of water and sipped on the melted ice. I did not get checked on if I needed anything or refill on drinks. In all though, the food was great, service not so great.

My bf and I were completely satisfied with everything, from the service to the food. I ordered a Vanilla Latte n it was so good. We are def coming back! Thank you Ihop!

Horrible service my server couldn’t get my food wrong it took 3 tries & a new server to get my food somewhat good.

Overall very satisfied every time me and my bf go there. Food quality is up to part and our orders have always been correct. Customer service has never been an issue, the waiters have always been very attentive and friendly. We enjoy coming here when we are in the area.

Is always a joy to come an eat here. i been going to this restaurant since i use to go to hollywood high 22 years ago. is always clean and the staff always have a nice look… i recommend you to come eat here… you will leave with a super happy face…

Their omelets are very overpriced & not good. I ordered the Colorado omelet for $ 13 and it was very dry! Not enough meat in it either. I won’t be returning.

IHOP is an interesting franchise. It really is a hit or miss depending on when/​where you go…
But today we’re gonna talk about my experience at this particular one.
Décor is same as any other. Service is average.
Grabbed a cup of coffee and was rewarded the whole carafe, which I was much obliged to accept for I am a caffeine fiend. Yuck. Coffee tastes like dirt. Strike one.
Kept it simple. Got the basic standard breakfast: 2eggs, hash browns, bacon, pancakes. This test has stood the test of time– if a restaurant cannot exceed at this easy, elementary-​level breakfast combination they have no business operating. Eggs were cold, as were the bacon and pancakes. Eggs were average; or should I say egg substitutes. Bacon tasted like a fucking boot. Hash browns were some bullshit frozen potato product microwaved and thrown on the plate — also gross. Even the pancakes sucked. Fuck. Strike two
Well I’m not trying to be too negative but when one dines out they expect excellent service, delicious food, and an inviting atmosphere. Simple, people. Simple. Support local businesses and to hell with these chain restaurants. Just wanted something relatively cheap, but for the quality of this I might as well got a fucking hot pocket for pete’s sake. And that’s strike 3 because I feel like it

We had lunch there today and I wish I’d taken note of our waiter’s name, so I could shame him!
We were seated quickly enough, but it took over 10 minutes to even get a drink order in, Then for at least 5 minutes I had a empty glass next to me while we waited on food. When my burger arrived I realized it was dry as asked for mustard… then proceeded to watch him put syrup on all the empty tables in his section before bringing it to me, which meant my burger got cold!
That’s some of the worst service in recent memory!

A renovated IHOP on the Sunset strip with a parking lot. It has an interesting coffee bar window in the front (I don’t drink coffee but I bet you can get hot chocolate too) and is clean enough and has plenty of food options to choose from.
I was a little surprised to see breakfast entrees priced as high as $ 12 (even sans meat). It’s been a while since I was at an IHOP so I guess prices have gone up. But we got what we came for: reliable pancakes served in a casual atmosphere quickly. Reliable and predictable experience. And that’s OK.

The food was good but the wait was too long.

This IHOP has been re-​done so it doesn’t even really look like an IHOP anymore — on the outside. On the inside, everything is still the same. It may have a very hip and trendy (in 2005) coffee walk-​up window now, but the menus are still IHOP plastic tomes and the pancakes are still the reason you came.
I had the Californian scramble, and it was OK. I didn’t completely read the menu description so I didn’t realize it would be topped with a sickly sweet red salsa — my fault. I tried to scrape it off and move on with things. Pancakes — which really were the reason we came — were as usual. Hit the spot. Didn’t love the iced tea… doesn’t taste freshly brewed, more sweet like bottled tea. Stick with the coffee — always reliable.
It sure seems like prices have gone up… for 2 people, we spent over $ 40 including tip… which doesn’t feel very IHOP to me. But we got fairly solid food with a side of pancakes and quick service. Also, parking lot in back. New exterior, higher prices. But pancakes.

Friendly, quick, and attentive service by Juan! Came on Thursday morning and it was not too crowded. I had the peach crêpe special — I like their regular menu crepes better but they were bomb if you’re in sugar rush mood (why else are you at IHOP?) … I will be back! Mostly because I live a block away and have a late night sweet tooth ;)

I came to this Ihop to try their famous pancakes and man I gotta tell ya, they’re the best pancakes I’ve had to date! *drools*
I ordered a full stack and even though there’s butter placed on top when they come served to you, I poured some of the all four available syrups on top too… *whistles* DELICIOUS!
The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because of the price. They definitely do fill you up but still… very pricey.

Well that was a frustrating experience.
I had a 45 minute lunch break and just wanted to grab a bite to eat instead of going to In-​N-​Out. Variety, you know? Well, the burger took 15 minutes, tasted a bit… off and service was nowhere to be found for drink refills. For a moderately busy restaurant I was hoping it wouldn’t take 5 – 10 minutes to get a drink refill.
Basically great if you have all the time in the world. Don’t go if you’re in a time crunch.

I’ve been to this location a few times. Its a nice clean quiet location. There is parking in the rear. The staff is friendly and prompt with service. Its a nice enough place to satisfy a pancake/​breakfast food craving

Just came here to order to go. The woman at the to go counter was very nice and helped me decide on the pumpkin pancake combo. Bf ordered the country fried steak.
We ordered at 10:27 according to the receipt. At about 20 minutes into waiting the woman who took our order said she checked on it and it still wasn’t done yet.
At 11:00 annoyed with the long wait, we went to the manager and asked for a refund since we had waited 30+ minutes. He looked at the time on the receipt and then went to the kitchen. Um, I asked for a refund, not for our food to be checked on.
A couple minutes later he came back to tell us it would just be a few more minutes. I said we just want a refund. He said «ok» clearly irritated, but he couldn’t have been more irritated as I was.
After 40+ minutes since we ordered we finally got our money back, with everyone involved being pissed off.
2 stars for the lovely woman who took our order. Sorry everyone else wasn’t on top of their game this morning.

Never coming to this IHop something as easy as bacon looked discussing.
The waitress aside from looking un groomed and I distressed she wasn’t trained at all in the customer service department. She looked poor ARACELY our waitress, IHOP really needs to screen their employees before hiring them. She needs to be pleasant, at least look as if you care about your job when doing performing it.

After a long day of shopping at Hollywood Highland with my friends, we were craving for a «breakfast meal.»
We went in and there’s this little lounge place to wait till someone attends you. So we waited for like 7 minutes and it was lonely. I don’t get it? Is it closed?
Finally we went inside and got seated. We ordered, pancakes, french toast, fried chicken tenders, and fires. To be honest it looked good when we saw it… But the food wasn’t well cooked. Fries were too salty, the water here tastes like tap water. French toast was ok but the pancakes were soggy from the inside. We told the waitress, and she told us if you wanted pancakes again or something else. We got french fries instead of pancakes. Also we overheard from another family across from us that the pancakes weren’t well cooked! The waitress gave us a discount and we paid and left. Never coming back to this IHOP!

I came over for some quick breakfast with my little one and at first was a bit discouraged with the full restaurant thinking it would be the longest wait time of my life. I was wrong I was immediately seated and helped by one of the loveliest waitresses ever.
Her name Italy (I might be misspelling the name) but you won’t miss her since she is super prego. She was lovely and sweet very efficient with what she does. I felt super horrible asking her for anything avoiding her to stress walking too much. Poor thing is 7mths she told me and that made me more nostalgic.
I wished her the best on her still-​going pregnancy and she nicely thanked me wishing me and my princess a great rest of the day.
