Carol did my hair (and all the other bridesmaids) for my friend Grace’s wedding. I showed her a few pictures of styles I wanted. I was partly expecting her to tell me she wouldn’t be able to do the styles (because of my shorter hair length) but instead she asked me which one I liked best and went right to it. After a surprisingly short amount of time she had very accurately recreated the hairstyle I had just shown her a picture of! I was really happy.
Carol is efficient but not hasty, and she’s friendly and conversational too. Definitely recommended!

Carol did my hair for Shannon L’s wedding and she did a great job! She’s very personable yet professional at the same time. It’s easy to discuss what type of style you want and the finished product will be exactly what you had envisioned.
Plus, she’s efficient! Funny story, I wanted my hair curled and placed all on one side but then we found out that the bride was doing her hair in a similar style so we quickly changed it to something else. If Carol wasn’t efficient, flexible and creative, then it could have been a stressful moment for both of us. But, in the end, I was very happy with the final ‘do.

Carol did the hair for my six bridesmaids last year and it turned out fantastic!
She is incredibly professional, timely, efficient, and flexible in doing what style you want for your hair. She’s great with suggestions in case you don’t know what you want. Each of my bridesmaids had a different updo/​half updo and I would say that each hairstyle fit each girls’ face shape quite nicely.
I actually don’t remember much of the process with her because she was actually working with my MOH on the details and scheduling. I thought that was great because it made the big day even more seamless and carefree. I don’t remember the girls rushing at all so everything must have gone smoothly since we were able to leave the hotel on time for the venue.
Carol is also really personable and honest so you’ll definitely have a great time with her!

I was referred to Carol by one of my college friends after having problems with the first hair/​makeup girl I hired and then not having a successful trial from another makeup artist. Luckily, Carol had just moved back to LA from NYC and was available to do both hair AND makeup on myself and my 5 bridesmaids for my wedding. My hair/​makeup trial went great & we went over all the changes I wanted for the day of the wedding. We exchanged several emails and she was very professional and quick to respond.
On the day of the wedding, she came earlier than the time we discussed so that she could set up and be ready to go as soon as the time came around. She listened to all of our wants & needs and I can truly say that I’ve never see myself or my bridesmaids more beautiful than that day! Because of Carol, we ended up running WAY ahead of schedule and it really set the mood of the day — calm & relaxed. Carol’s extremely talented with both hair and makeup on both Asians & non-​Asians (I had 1 caucasian BM & the rest were Korean). My maid of honor and I have even discussed going back to her for other special events in the future.
