After having a horrible experience with my precious pediatrician, Dr. Janet Kim was a breathe of fresh air. She is very personable and always happy to see you. She greets each child as if she just saw them yesterday. My 1^st child for the 1^st time did not cry after getting her shots. When k take in my second kid for check ups with my first, she is excited to see her doctor. She makes the experience fun and exciting for children. She is very straight forward with her answers to any question you may have. She does not try to give your children unnecessary medicine. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been to this clinic for several years for my 2 children and had no problem at all with doctor who is really nice. Only problem is their staff. Very arrogant and mean spirited one I’ve ever experienced. Do not expect them even smiling back when you go there.

So far Janet Kim has been the best who has many years of experience at UCLA.

Usually I only use Unilocal to look for new places rather than write reviews, but this MD is not trustworthy nor careful professional. My infant niece went to this doctor this morning because he kept vomiting after eating formula and she said that «its not a big problem at all, ALL infants have upset stomachs and its normal for the baby to throw up.». So my family drove all the way out to LA for her to just say its a «normal» thing and now my infant niece is in CHOC (Children’s hospital of Orange County) and the pediatrician’s at CHOC says she needs surgery. Keep in mind that this is happened on the same day. I don’t know why Janet Kim, AN MD, could have possibly thought my niece was in a «normal» condition. This upsets me very much and I’m praying that my niece going to be okay. I don’t know whether she had made an «honest» mistake but I am furious and none of my family or friends will ever go back to that place again.

My children became patients of Dr. Kim when our old pediatrician was retiring. I was a bit nervous about the transition since my kids has always been with the previous one and my oldest being 11… (Get the picture?) well we have been with Dr. Kim for about 4 years now, maybe 5… She is an excellent doctor. Great to talk to about my concerns, not too adamant about giving unnecessary. Antibiotics! Which I love because I’ve seen how other Drs quickly want to shove amoxicillin down your child’s throat. I’ve often showed up without appointment with at least 2 of my kids die to a sudden illness and it hasn’t been a problem for the doctor.
The front desk Is well staffed, and the waiting room clean with kid books to read. There is ample parking space. Bottom line, great dr, great clean office, and free parking!!! Oh and if you should ever need it, there’s a pharmacy across the building!

Dr. Kim already transferred to a new clinic near Virgil and 6^th streets.
Awesome doctor! Clinic is neat. Staff are amazing. Your baby will be seen exactly or even before the appointed time. This lady doctor knows what she is doing.
