No disrespect to Jimmy John’s staff but this place S U C K S!!! No flavor and pricey for the product. I see them popping up everywhere so I tried it. I don’t know what was worse, the taste or the fact that I was dying of hunger!!! I even waited to post on it because I had such a horrible experience. But I spoke to my friend out of state and she mirrored my sentiment! These Unilocalers do too! Listen to us and stay away. There’s a Jersey Mikes a block and a half away.

I’ve heard a lot about this place so I went there for lunch today. I really wasn’t impressed. The sandwich was bland and boring. The bread didn’t taste like much of anything either. One thing I did like was the soda it had crushed ice and tasted good.

Boring and over priced ! I went there a few times trying different menu items but I have to say I was disappointed each and every time… First — it’s very minimal sandwich … There’s barely anything there; tomato and lettuce — that’s basically it !! If you want some pickles — that’s $ 1.5 extra and it comes on the side … Really?!? really ??? For $ 10 you can’t include some pickles ?!? I took avocado last time just because it was tasteless and of course they charged me extra for that as well… But my point is you really expect MOREMEAT for that price … I paid $ 10 and I got two thin slices of meat … I could barely feel the meat … Seriously … What am I paying for — bread ?! Because that’s all I felt in every bite… This is in my option the worse sandwich franchise in the country — they put the least stuff and the charge the most … And it’s not even organic as you’d expect in such prices … Barely any meat and practically no choice of veggies or salad, like you get in Subway or any other sandwich franchise. Not only that but you cannot build your own sandwich and they don’t TOAST it… Why not offer toasting ?!? Because it takes time and they are all about Time… They are proud to give me the sandwich in 45 seconds … Wow … Great !! I can toss it to the garbage even faster … As that’s where it belongs … Tasteless, meatless, heartless … Pointless !! I’m not a subway fan but compared to Jimmy John franchise — they are kings… So much more … So much options… So much taste … And they would toast it and put anything you want on it… And it will be even cheaper !! Why Jimmy John became a franchise is beyond me… Do not support it ! It needs to go away …

Very upsetting. I am a big fan of Jimmy Johns, however, they will not deliver to me because i apparently live outside of their range. The range ends on 3rd street, and i live on the north side of the street, but they will only deliver to the south side of 3rd street. The fact that they cant cross the street is stupid. When they first opened up, they would deliver to me all the time, but now a new GM has stopped their delivery guys from going outside of their range because of corporate apparently gets mad and fines them… I would even give the guys good tips when they delivered… stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Way to lose a long term customer JJ…

Can anyone find a better Italian Nightclub sandwich anywhere? The only thing that could improve is if they toasted the bread(which they don’t allow). The service is always fast and the place is clean. Order the #9 with extra oregano – it’s my favorite and they don’t disappoint.

Checked it out for the first(and probably last) time. Ordered their turkey sandwich. Not much in the way of ingredients, just an ok sandwich. Everything tends to slide out as you eat it.

No issues with the food, but the service is less than desirable. The sandwich maker just let me stand there after giving my sandwich to someone else. After person number four I had to bypass him and go straight to the manager, she ignored me too. Terrible. Poor service can hurt a business, there is so much competition down here. I don’t think I will be coming back here.

There were roaches crawling on the counters in the kitchen & when I tried to take a picture they kicked me out! This place is awful!

Thank God they finally opened one of these in DTLA. I know Jimmy’s is a more mid west thing. But these subs are amazing. Great bread and great slices of meat. I usually go for the Italian night club which has real genoa salami, Italian capicola, smoked ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato and mayo. One thing that bugs me about this place is the price of subs. I think they could bring down the price a bit. After you get drinks and chips you are looking at 12 – 14 lunch :/ If you like sandwiches try it.

Fast sandwiches for when you need a quick bite downtown. Not a lot of seating inside so bring sunglasses for a sunny afternoon lunch in case you end up outside.

Okay so the food is freshly assembled/made and they’re supposed to be fast. I ordered a sandwich and hit my stopwatch. It was literally easy in 55 seconds– right when I finished putting my change back in my wallet. These guys also deliver, and the online app is easy to use.

Really Unilocalers? «Bland sandwiches»? Do people know you’re able to customize your OWN sandwich? It’s technically not Jimmy John’s fault if your sandwich is subpar. MY sandwiches are always tasty because I know what to put on them. Anywho, I’ve done pick up and delivery for Jimmy John’s and haven’t had a bad experience either way. Well except that one time they ran out of chocolate chunk cookies, but you snooze you lose right? It’s Jimmy John’s fast which is great when your lunch is only a half hour.

Terrible customer service. You can tell the people that work there don’t want to be there. It was my first time and I had a couple of questions about the menu and options and no one cared to listen. The sandwiches were okay, a little bland but I just got the plain turkey sub w veggies. The variety of chips was good. We also got two chocolate chip cookies which were completely stale and falling apart. I would try JJ again but never going back to this location.

i liked the sub i got. turkey with avo spread. and the bread was very soft and fresh tasting. a step up on Subgay for sure. i’m not a big TOGO fan so i was happy to try this place and glad i did, pretty good food. Cost was about same as other sub places, so no issue there. The menu is your basic sandwich options, and chips. Cost for the«big» one was about $ 9. This location was clean and the staff was nice and the food came out fast and ready to eat. ill be back for sure.

Discovered this place several weeks ago with a co/worker buddy of mine. I’ve been to Jimmy John’s in Pasadena before, and coming to this one was nostalgic. I was enamored with the fact that your sandwich arrives made to order in less than a few minutes. The beast on the menu to get is known as the«JJ Gargantuan.» If you love freshness and delicious, get this sandwich!!! Their named brand chips are better left to be desired however.

This is my second visit to any Jimmy John’s so I kind of know what the deal is with the sandwiches. I hope this one stays for a long while at this location because the track record for this spot isn’t too good. Quiznos before didn’t last and the businesses before are long gone. Something definitely popped out when I looked at the menu when I saw JJ Gargantuan. Now that sounds like this will definitely put me into some sort of food coma. At the very least, hold me over until I’m ready for dinner. This one means all of the different meats rolled into one sandwich. Request for extra onions since there is only room for shreadded lettuce, a few slices of tomatoes and a sprinkle of Italian dressing. Was I in for some sort of a hurtin’, it felt like a heavy sandwich holding it in one hand. «Would you like a bag of chips and a drink with that sandwich order today?» Uhhh, no thank you. 30 minutes later, time for a nap… zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

This place catered a work lunch at my downtown office recently. The sandwiches were the worst I’ve had in recent memory. The bread was stale and tasteless, the ingredients were miniscule, the tuna smelled like it had been opened from a can and sat in the fridge for a week. My girlfriend and I both had stomach aches a half hour after we ate. Maybe they do a better job for people who walk into their establishment and order food, but you gotta try harder on your catering. Based on my experience I will never eat here.

The blandest sandwich possible. You have no choice of bread and no choice of additions to your sandwich. If it’s possible, this is about two notches below subway. Sandwiches have very little on them but they’re ready in less than a minute. It’s not bad but it’s definitely not good either. Kudos to the servers who were extremely friendly and eager to serve.

My sister described this place as a must have sandwich. I wasn’t sold yet, but I am always down to try a new place. We ordered one sandwich, Italian Night Club on a french roll plus the hot peppers. Request to cut it in half because it is a mighty big sandwich. The sandwich came out fast and everything was perfectly made. Make sure you ask for condiments when you order or when you get your food. They do not have a condiment section so definitely ask for the add ons. This sandwich was shared between two people and I have to say it was a good amount of food. I think a whole sandwich would be extremely filling. The sandwich was fantastic. Super delicious. It was filled with meat: genoa salami, Italian capicola, and smoked ham. Add that with some provolone cheese and the works of veggies: lettuces, tomatoes, and onions. The french roll was cold, so this sandwich reminds me of a cold cut. Everything together makes it a great tasting Italian sub. This is NOT a lame subway. Located between Fig and 5th, same plaza as Johnny Rockets. –Give it a try!
